Personality.

Heeyoung isn't much of a talker, she's the type of girl that usually sits by herself and just read. She never really speaks her mind about many things, some people that just met her would think that she's an easy going girl, but that's really not the case; she just doesn't speak out her suggestions, even she did have a suggestion, she'll never really speak it. Heeyoung just feels more comfortable when she doesn't have to talk a lot. 

 

Even if she's a quiet person, she's always open-minded. She knows that there's a wrong for a right and vice versa. She was always taught to have a open mind for everything, may it be suggestions or opinions, she keeps a open mind for those things. Heeyoung will never push a bad suggestion/opinion away, she'll take it in and does anything with it; she's open to those things.

 

Going back to being quiet, Heeyoung can be a little reserved. Unlike her younger brother, who's an hyperactive child, Heeyoung takes precaution when meeting new people. She doesn't reveal anything too personal with other people; she'll tell the person the important necessity when converse in a conversation. Heeyoung's not the only person that's like this, her father is the same, the same with her younger brother, but instead he got his mother's personality.

 

Despite being a little guarded, Heeyoung is a caring person, inside and out. She cares for the people around her, like her younger brother, who happens to be a little too naive for the world, her parents, who's taken care of her for so long. Heeyoung, as well, cares for the people that takes the time to really get to know her. Her being caring to others can also be mistaken as being over-protective.

Background.

Heeyoung comes from a standard family. Her father maybe a bestselling author, but she still remains a normal girl living in the cold weather of Seattle. Heeyoung was never the 'popular' girl in her school, and she never really got close to anyone there, unlike her younger brother. The only time when people would recognize her is when people read her father's books, or when they have her mother's art classes. Heeyoung spent most of her life in Seattle, but for last few years of her life, her family moved back to Korea. Them moving was quite sudden, but Heeyoung never really questioned it.

 

Heeyoung never really changed once she moved to Korea. She was still the girl that barely talked in class, still the girl that read during the break, still same old Heeyoung. Some of the other kids at her school called her weird and strange, but there were some students that found her interesting and those people took the time to actually know and it was safe to say they were her friends.

 

Heeyoung's parents didn't give up on their work once they moved back to Korea. Her father continued to still write, he even translated some of his books into Korean for others to read, and her mother continued to teach art to people. Things didn't really change for them. Heeyoung's realationship with her younger brother still remained stronger than ever. Ji Hoon still calls Heeyoung 'Hee-yo', which causes some major confusion towards his friends. But the only thing he tells them is, 'my noona, my Hee-yo noona'. It may be vague for them, but for the two of them, it's something completely stronger.

The two briefly met each other before entering the camp. Apparently their mothers went to the same high school and they had mutal friends, which made them to become friends. Heeyoung was with her mother at the supermarket when she bumped into her old friend, who happened to be with her son. The two didn't really talk to each other during that time, only an awkward eye contact was exchanged. But they met each other again back at the camp, which they officially introduced each other. The two was still awkward with each other, but time soon passed and a simple friendship was formed. Jungkook is the only person that would get away with calling Heeyoung's quietness adorable.

Interactions. The two has similar personalities, which for some reason intrigued Sehun. They don't really talk as much to each other, because they don't have much to say to each other. But they do converse in a conversation at times, but Heeyoung being quite reserved, words aren't spoken often. But Sehun doesn't seem to mind. Heeyoung attracts Sehun in way words that can't explain, and he wants to become closer to Heeyoung, but HeeYoung doesn't give.
