but once you read that book you'll be in for a suprise

PERSONALITY: 

Ever since Haein was little she was always a little quiet. She wasn't necessarily shy, she did talk to people, she just didn't like being around them. She was often called rude by some people but Haein never really cared about they say; she just didn't think much about it. And when she got older she still didn't think much about it. As she got older she noticed that she was in fact a little a rude to some. But that was how she was; she was just a cold person. Her personality didn't fall far from the tree as her father was just like her. People around her that didn't know her well will ask her to change her attitude, but she won't. She's not going to change something that's almost impossible to change. If people find her being offensive when she talks to you then that's you're interpretation of that, but to her that's just her way of saying something.

But behind that hard layer of ice there's actually someone that cares about her work and what she does. Yes, she's a little hard-headed, but all of that makes her a hard worker. She gets the job done and never falls behind on anything. Even though she's a little harsh with her words she would never rush someone. Even if she's a stand-offish girl she will never push someone over the edge, because she knows better than to overwhelm someone. She can come off as a little bit of a perfectionist but with the way she works everything will be done right. Don't get thrown off by her cold vibes, you just got to melt the ice a little bit to see what she's really about.    

BACKGROUND: 

Haein spent majority of her childhood and middle school days in Seoul when her father announced that they will be moving to the States. Her parents, younger sister, and her all moved to New York City. So after moving to NYC Haein she spent her high school years and and most of her college years there. During her high school days Haein noticed that she wanted to become like her father; a pharmacist or something of the sorts. Even if he didn't show it, Haein's father was proud of her, because not a lot of people dwelled into the pharmaceutical life. She applied to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and went forth into getting a Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Science. After achieving her bachelor she got hired at the research center in Albany.     

After spending four years trying in the field Haein didn't know if she wanted to continue her work in pharmaceutical. She had worked at her job at the research center for a year when she quit her job. Her father wasn't all that thrilled when she quit saying how she was going to use her knowlege now. Haein told him not to worry and she'll find a way, but it wasn't going to be here in New York. So she packed everything and left New York and went back to Seoul to find something that would make her happy.

RELATIONSHIPS: 

✩ younger sister - park haeyoung (20) / student at UOS / hardworking, shy, quiet / Despite being five years Haein and Haeyoung are pretty close. After Haein left NYC to return to Korea Haeyoung was left a little lonely. Just like her sister Haeyoung was not a people-person, but for Haein she just didn't like being around a lot of people; for Haeyoung she grew nervous around a lot of people. Haeyoung looked up to her sister and strive to be like her. She was only a year into college back at NYU for Architecture but decided suddenly transfer everything and head to Seoul where her sister is.  

✩ father - park byunghan (50) / pharmacist / quiet, caring, hardworking / After Haein's decision to not continue her studies and to not keep her job at the research center her relationship with her father became strain. They don't talk as much as they use to; him still thinking Haein's rash choice of leaving was unacceptable. But every now and then he'll call her to see if she's alright and if Haeyoung is okay. Even if he still thinks that Haein's life choices are wrong he still worries for her.

✩ friend/ collegue - park sooyoung (25) / medical examiner / cheeky, friendly, funny / Haein has known Sooyoung since the first year of middle school when Sooyoung moved from Busan. Sooyoung has alway been a friendly and out-going person so she attempted to being friends with Haein. At first she didn't succeed. But after a couple of more tries Haein finally caved in and let Sooyoung inside her world. They were close, even when Haein moved they still remained good friends. And when Haein moved back Sooyoung was quick to help with everything including her getting a her current job now.

SCENE REQUEST: 

✩ Sooyoung catching Haein and Mark talking and Sooyoung immediately grilling Haein about it after he leaves, asking personal questions that Haein finds annoying. 

✩ Mark catches Haein at the shooting range and asks her if she's wanting to learn how to shoot, which she responds yes. So Mark teaches her how to properly handle a gun.
