So, most of you probably already know about the controversy surrounding Jonghyun right now.

But for those of you who don't, he changed his Twitter picture to a note written by a biual

transgender in S. Korea, speaking up about the fact that there are such prevalent homophobic

feelings in Korea, as part of the "I'm not okay" movement.

Many supposed "shawols" are getting worked up about this and leaving the fan group...

Well, I say go ahead and leave then. If you can't support SHINee for who they are, then you

can't really support them at all!

Personally, I am extremely proud of Jonghyun, not only for supporting gay rights, and the writer

of the letter, but for speaking up and speaking his mind in a society and industry that is so

censored. I am proud of Jonghyun for: who. he. is. and having the courage to show it.
