Min Saerom is quiet. Very quiet. She rarely speaks, and when she does, she keeps her words short, simple, and straight to the point.If her classmates were to describe her, she would be the unnoticable girl with a blonde wig seated at the corner in class with the creepy aura, who reads manga and gets straight As in her grades. Amongst friends, she is the one who's always laughing at the jokes instead of making them.
Rather than speaking, Saerom listens. Not in a way where people can spill their worries and stuff (definetly not, Saerom can never sit down and listen to people speak, she would get carried away and go into a daze. Her attention span is usually 5-10 minutes at most, depending if she has had her daily cup of black coffee) at her but she listens to all the unnoticable stuff. She notices all the small details, she pays attention and is good at identifying the atmosphere and situations, thus she rarely gets into trouble.
Saerom has never understood it when people complained they are lonely and post emo stuff on their facebook. Saerom likes the quietness, the personal space, and the 'aloneless' feeling. She likes it that she doesn't have to bother to entertain anyone or bother about other people and how they think about her. Shes the typical girl cooped up at home all day longgg, and a laptop plus a bag of chips could entertain her all day. To Saerom, 'Computer > people'. Saerom seems so different, yet she is just an extreme of the quiet part everyone possesses.
Saerom is socially awkward and slightly socially anxious as well. The best example would be when she was once stepped on the foot by someone in the train, but she was slightly panicky and ended up saying sorry to the other person instead. She absolutely dislikes social events and she is always worried, always self conscious about herself. (more in background). She is just really bad with people and she never knows how to get attention. If Saerom was in a play, rather than being out there in the limelights, she'd prefer to make the props.
Saerom has friends of course, but they are all childhood friends, and people who have been with her through all the thick and thin. Saerom is abbbbbsolutely loyal and very protective of her friends. Not the fierce lioness way but protective as in she would build a shield around them and tries her best to help. Saerom is loyal and she never betrays, she may not be the most interesting person with goofy jokes to make you laugh out loud, but she's really the one to tie you down and makes sure you never go out of control and would support you silently. Not exactly the nicest person to choose to hang out with, thats why many friends of hers come and go.
Saerom never holds on, she gives everything space, her friends, her family, situations, reality. Whatever happens, Saerom accepts, she is a realist, and thats not the best thing, she lives in the real world and lacks all that imagination needed to keep someone happy. Saerom is not happy, neither is she sad. Saerom just feels nothing, she accepts what things are and chose to keep a neutral outlook.
Saerom has a good temper, simply because she just can't be bothered. Definetly not the one to stick her nose into other people's business, Saerom is never interested in gossip and all. When she feels injust, or whatever that makes her angry, she shuts people out and turns into a sarcastic bitter bitxh, grumbling on and on, but never exploding. Oh and she rarely cries, for some reason, her tears just don't surface somehow. Maybe its because of her lack of emotion.
Saerom does well on her own, she is independent and does all her things without needing supervisation. She wakes up early, makes her own bed, cooks her own breakfast, and makes sure she fares well in her grades. Saerom is mature, in a sense that she is easygoing, she doesn't hold grudges and is always accepting.

Min Saerom's life is nothing too special. She was born at 12 midnight on a rainy Wednesday on 20th July 1993 in Gyeonggi-do. She wasn't born with a silver spoon in , instead, she was just another girl amongst the many middle-class families in S.Korea.Her mother is a housewife, and father, a journalist. They had always wanted a boy, being the traditional family they were, they still held quite a fair bit of Confucian beliefs. However, the fact that Saerom was a girl could not be changed. Her parents were not the happiest and they did not give a lot of love and attention to Saerom. Thus since young, they raised him like a boy. They cut her hair short, wore blue, played with toy cars, legos etc. While growing up in her pre-teen years, Saerom's parents payed little attention to her. This is because they were planning to start a business, which was opening a club in itaewon, one of Seoul's busy areas. With no one to attend to her and care about her daily whereabouts or behaviours, Saerom got slightly rebellious. But not too much, she still went to school and kept her grades in check, why? Because deep down she wanted to get accepted by her parents and given more attention. The only way she could do so was to bring home a 1st in level certificate or full marked test papers. But she started learning swear words and would argue with her parents frequently.
When Saerom was 12, she started eating a lot, with 50 bucks a day and no one to care about her diet. She would buy soft drinks, fried chicken, fast food, chips, chocolate etc etc the list goes on. Saerom was overweight by the time she was 13, being only 157, she weighed a hefty 60 kg. Of course, being the judgemental society Korea is, Saerom did not suffer less teasings. She was always called 'fat-so' or 'pig'. Initially, Saerom didn't give no to the teasings. But as she entered puberty, she got self conscious, and soon depressed due to her wieight. She tried to hundreds of ways, like one meal a day, purging, and tons of medication she bought blindly off the internet etc. It got to a bad state when her health started to suffer. She was always dizzy, falling sick easily, grey-ishly pale, and always sleepy. Saerom still got judged for being stick thin, but she was happy. Her cousin, YeJin saw Saerom's state and decided she could not just let it be. She dragged Saerom to get professional help and Saerom was very reluctant at first, she skipped all of her therapies and threw a fit at YeJin. It was only when her beloved grandmother was dying of cancer when Saerom decided to change for the better. Her grandmother's last words were, 'if i die, the only regret i have is to be unable to see our Saerom be a healthy and happy girl.' For the sake of her grandmother, she went to the therapies and her condition got better. Through the therapies, Saerom's parents gave her a lot of care and concern, many things got better in life. When Saerom was 17, YeJin got into SM Entertainment as a trainee. Saerom was envious, of course, it was like every teenage girl's dream. YeJin knew Saerom could dance well and all and literally dragged her trainer at SM to go see Saerom. Lucky for Saerom, she was scouted. Initially, she rejected, unwilling to give up her chance to go to top universities. However, after many pursues and convincing, Saerom went for the audition and she got in. Her trainee days lasted for 2 years. Saerom's story is common, its nothing glamorous, and nothing 'up there', shes just another individual with her own story.

It's not hard to tell when he is genuinely happy, or sad, people can tell it easily. He never tries to hide his emotions or whatever he is thinking. He's the one who will insult you in your face if he does not like you, and the one who smiles brightly, and you can be rest assured its genuine. People say he's a goofball, people say he's the comedian of the group, people say many things, but no one has yet to grasp what Baekhyun completely is. His personality consists of different layers. The first layer is what we see, the sassy talkative thats kawaii yet strangely charismatic on stage. And we can see from this that it is already pretty confusing. He's not charismatic all the way, not derpy all the way..etc. Baekhyun has actually not much idea about what kind of a person he wants to show people. He acts according to how he feel, and cannot decide on what exatly he wants to be. But whatever kind of a person he might be to others, its definetly not like that deep down. Deep down, Baekhyun is sly, clever, but way too clever. He creates a persona. But not a fixed one. Saerom likes to notice people and analyse them, but Baekhyun is hard to get. But, generally he likes to have fun, he is smart, and he is definetly hard working, given that he debuted only after a year of being a trainee. In a relationship, Baekhyun is childish, and selfish. He's the type who wants to restrain, cage who he loves up and keep it in his pockets, only for him and himself. Possessive, and jealous he may be, he's pretty awkward in relationships due to his lack in experience. On the surface, of course, he always looks suave and popular with the ladies, he looks like he knows how to charm, and he does, but those are just copying the books. When it comes to serious relationships, he does get really nervous and he often loses his cool.
how you act around each other - Saerom is forever seeking, trying to get to know who Baekhyun really is, and thats the point of attraction between the two. It's the mystery that makes them want to deep digger in, beyond just physical, but also psychological. The two are similar yet different. One hides behind a cold mask, and another hides behind the extravagant and frivolous one. Neither confident about their personality deep down.
It takes long for them to realise that they do not need to show each other the mask they put on. Initially, Baekhyun was this bright and happy boy with no worries, and forever dedicated to Saerom. And Saerom tries to open up, and she realises that it is actually alot easier to open up than to keep it all in. Saerom is always on the recieving end, she is never too good at giving and expressing her feelings very early, or initiating skinship, which is why she was the one who said 'I love you' later into the relationship. Saerom has a hard time expressing how she truly feels and would sometimes deny the fact that she is 'that' in love with Baekhyun. Some how, in love, Saerom's pride shoots up, for example, when they have physical contact, she would always shake her head when asked if she likes it, when deep down she really does. Baekhyun is the one who's willing to give it his all, and Saerom can feel burdened by it. Despite the fact that she loves him back just as he does, she is not always happy with all the excessive attention, she oftenly feels obliged to do the same back. However, after overcoming so, Saerom understands that its just that they have different ways of loving. Rather than the full on passionate love most girls would prefer, the love Baekhyun and Saerom shares is more private, a mysterious feeling only between the two and the heart warming one with an unexpressable lingering feeling. Their may not be the most ideal, but certainly, it is the way both of them are most comfortable with.
how you met - As previously mentioned, Saerom has had a crush on Luhan for a long time. She never confessed, instead she wrote letters, poems, and songs for him, but keeping it only to herself. Baekhyun discovered the stash when it spilled out of the bag while she tripped over a stair. Saerom blushed, panicked and begged Baekhyun not to tell Luhan. That was the first time Baekhyun had actually seen her. He has heard her name around somewhere. When he saw the letters and all, he was pretty touched, and that reminded him of himself who once did similar things for his crush next class. Tao wants to be a trusted dongsaeng and someone who supports Saerom and give her encouragement from the back. Saerom always feels touched by Tao's little acts and the way he tries to be brave and hide it even when he is not okay.
