» Soorin is the laidback one, never taking any taking anything too seriously and is way too relaxed about everything. She is calm and does not panic over simple things and whenever she sees other people fretting over something, she would adivse them to just 'chillax'. She is easygoing and will do with anything, she doesn't mind and fret over little complications. Sometimes people get frustrated over her 'everything's fine with me' attitude. Due to her laidback personality, Soorin has a very nice temper and does not get angry easily at all. When someone tries to provoke her, she will just laugh it off and many people likes to joke around with her because they know she won't get mad. However, rarely when she is very angery, she will be turn into a new person.
Soorin is playful and young at heart with a loud and mischivious laugh. She likes to joke around a lot, making a fool of herself and having fun. She likes going around teasing people and making people laugh, though she does not always have the best sense of humour. But she definetly loves participating in games and chats.
However, Soorin is very lazy, she likes to live life in a slow pace, she eats slowly, walks slowly and even dislikes practising for too long. She would whine and try to find her way out of it. She is not that hardworking and tends to procrastinate a lot. She knows it is a bad habit of hers but it is difficult for her to change it. Soorin does not talk too much and tends to be alone more than crowded together with others and trying to grab attention and socialise.
Background: Soorin was born in Jejudo, where her parents were from. Being the second child, she has an older sister. She grew up in a middle-low class family. They had a two-roomed house where their family lived with with their grandmother.They were not very well off and Soorin's parents were very busy with work as well. She disliked the state of her family as she had little pocket money, close to no toys, and very little food. She wore out-of-fashion clothes and basically hated everything. She wanted to be a singer but her mother wanted her to have a well-paying and very professional job. Soorin did not have a very happy childhood as she was put apon a lot of stress and expectations.
When Soorin was 13, her aunt who was staying in Japan decided to bring Soorin to Japan to stay with her for some time. And Soorin gladly went. She was very happy in Japan, it was a lot more better as her aunt was rather rich and was caring. She went to school there and eventually learnt the language. After about 4 years, Soorin's aunt sent her back to Korea as Soorin wanted to pursue her dreams of being a singer. Soorin returned to Korea but she found a own place in Seoul with the help of her aunt and auditioned for various companies before getting scouted into Woollim.
