Hanuel was born under the Kang family being a wealthy family of important status,he suffered through bullying and humiliation at school, they told him he was a boring person and that he shouldn't get full of himself just because his family was rich. Hanuel took the abuse and pretended not to care. Hanuel went to America for his high school education. There he learned how to speak English and play multiple instruments. He also learned Aikido and other martial arts during his time there. He had moved back to Korea after receiving his High School Diploma. Music had always played a big part of Hanuel's life ,but Hanuel decided here was no money in music. He went on to getting a Master's degree in Criminal Justice ; despite his family's pleads. He felt as if he just wanted to keep people safe. He had only been a cop for a year when he was told he was to go undercover as an idol. He was told it was necessary in order to keep the lives of very important people safe. He was surprised at the very least,but smiled and followed orders without a second though. He is very polite to the girls and took to them quite nicely. He always stayed at an distance to them. He had perferred not to get attached to them.
