Cancellation of KMW Part 3.

A day has passed since the official announcement of KMWinSg. I know I should have moved on by now, and dwelling on this issue certainly does no help for me. However, I feel a burning desire to speak up for myself. I feel obliged to do so. The following are my two cents worth with regards to the recent twitlonger message that has been circulating quite rapidly since yesterday. You don't have to read this if you are at the very least offended by my opinion, I have absolutely no rights to demand you to have the same stand as I do, but I believe I still own the liberation of speech.

In case you are not aware, there is a recent twitlonger message on Twitter, it's a long compelling message about the cancellation of KMW. I doubt the user is a fan of KPOP because of the way she writes. In some way, I feel slightly offended by her remarks because it seems as though she is comtemptuous of KPOP. I am not going to post the picture of her message because doing so simply means that I am helping her to spread the message and that is the very last thing I wish to do.

Firstly, I loathe the writer for the content that she has written. I suppose, she is just another person who is not involved in the music industry but perhaps has done some research in this field (correct me if I'm wrong). Yet, she speaks as though she is a professional in this field and that alone, disgusts me. Even Fatfish and MBC themselves have not spoken anything about the cost of production or the process of handling monetary issues. Yet, she alone, wrote down long lists of statistics with regards to the monetary issue involved in the production and the amount of money Fatfish has to pay to MBC. The list is endless. May I then ask a humble question, where did you get your information from? I certainly hope that it is not from the Internet, for it would be so silly of you to naively trust information from the Internet and write a long essay about it. (At least, I don't trust the information as much as she does)

Moving on, she even wrote a sentence or a phrase stating that it is not right for fans to be blaming Fatfish for the cancellation of KMW. Wow, that part struck me the hard. Hello miss, may I then ask, who should I put the blame on? You perhaps? For speaking so indiscriminately about this event? That would make more sense isn't it? I understand that she has her own opinions and I should respect her opinion. But unfortunately, no. I am appalled by how she has written. I am pretty sure that my memory never fails me, for I recall vividly that she wrote "Shame on you". Wow, I did not know that liking your idols and stating your stand are shameful? We apologize then, but we could never feel more proud to be supporting our idols. She has probably no idea what she is dealing with right now, she most likely has not bought the tickets for KMW, neither has she queued overnight for priority queue. Fans have been saving up for months just to purchase the tickets. And that alone, isn't an easy feat for them. The cancellation of KMW is already devastating enough for many fans. Many sobbed and cried their hearts out, they have no idea if refunds could be made for them. They don't even know what to do now, perhaps spending hundreds of dollars just to get cheated. Is this even a joking matter? May I ask again, who is the shameful one right now?

I hope she gets her information right. The belief has never been this clear, unless Fatfish themselves have made an official statement on KMW, no one should be spreading information about this matter. No one has the rights to anyways. To add on, Fatfish has recently wrote on their Facebook page:

"Further Announcement

We noticed that various statements and rumours have appeared on the Internet since the announcement of the cancellation of the concert . We would like to clarify that statements from Fatfish Entertainment Pte Ltd will only be made via the official website and/or the official Facebook page. Statements from other sources should be disregarded.

From,
Fatfish Entertainment Pte Ltd"

So may I now trust that, next time, before you even speak to impress or to express, please spare a thought for others.

P.S// Apparently, the user has deleted her twitlonger message. For whatever reasons, we don't know.
