Fan Wars and going to far...

 

I just have one question,

If you are not an EXOtic, is it really necessary to HATE them?

I dunno, it's just, news popping up everywhere, it seems like fans of other groups REALLY hate EXO. I'm not saying all, but the ones that do, hate them with a burning passion.

I just don't understand why when someone who likes EXO writes, "Love EXO blah blah blah", some people will dislike the comment or even worse, bash them for no good reason.

I just DO NOT GET IT, I don't like Teen Top's music but damn, I wish them the BEST of luck in their careers. I hope they do well and that's it. I don't wish them to die, or to disband, or to fail because I know other people like/love them.

Why would I bash them when other people love them?

I realize 8 of the 12 EXO members will have to join the army at some point in their life and it's their duty as a Korean citizen. I really think it's pure EVIL the way some fans (or anti-fans) will petition for them to be exempt.

Other people in the army will make it harder for EXO once they enlist, because if that's the way they see them, they might think they're arrogant idols who think they can get away with anything. When in reality, people are spreading rumours to hurt them, to make them suffer, but for what? What are you gaining from making another human being suffer?

I am very careful when I comment about something I don't like because at the end of the day, will I hurt someone's feelings? will this insult them? I don't think people realize since they hide behind a computer screen, the effect they do when they type hurtful things to make themselves feel better.

Because at the end of the day, EXO is making money and are living their dreams. You will probably never be their girlfriend. , even I am very aware I will NEVER be in a relationship with an EXO member :P Don't be delusional and be aware of what your actions can do.

If any member of EXO makes a mistake, as an EXOtic you'd feel dissapointed but no one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes and people learn from their mistakes.

End rant. I'm just kind of sad because at the end of the day, it's EXO who has to deal with , not us.

Yes, I hope that other fans realize that most of us EXOtics are actually pretty decent. They only get to hear about the crazy sasaeng fans because that's when a big issue happens (AKA Baek's bro's wedding, being banned from Inkgayo). It's not really fair to take it out on the normal fans. It's almost like some fans believe that all of us are sasaeng fans, which isn't good at all.

I personally don't believe in hating on any k-pop groups. I mean, they've gone through harsh training and crazy fans and stuff we can't imagine. At the end of the day, it's important to ask oneself, "What's the point of hating on them if it only causes more dislike?"

Sorry for my rant, I felt like I needed to get that out. ^^"

Honestly, it doesn't apply to just EXO. I've actually ranted about this several times, but involving other idol groups OTL.
The issue is, there are fans everywhere who start pointless fanwars by commenting hate comments. Yes, criticism is accepted, but when you're just going to post something about how you hate a group because they aren't as good as some other group, or you just hate them with no reason THEN it's quite obvious that fans will protect the idols they admire and look up to.
I'm somewhat of an EXOtic, but I'm not a huge fan because yes, I DO think that they're somewhat overrated and got too big too fast. I realize that that makes me sound like a hypocrite, but I'm not denying their talent. Of course, there's room for improvement, as there is with every idol group, and a lot of fans need to realize that.
But wanting to send them to the army and harassing them is just too much. These idols too are people, and I really doubt that you want to go through all that harassment. No one deserves that kind of treatment.

And I just totally ranted on your rant, so my apologies OTL. I really didn't mean for this to happen, but alas it did. My fingers couldn't resist typing this out. But yeah. I realize that people might not agree with me, but here we are. Me and my opinions OTL.

I think it's silly to hate any group. Sure you can dislike them, but is there really a point to hate them? Now I can understand some EXO fans are rude/mean but not all of us are like that. That's still not a reason to hate a group because of the fans.

How can you hate someone that much to want them to go into the army? That's horrible :( If there's an idol group I don't like, I'm like you: I still wish them nothing but the best ^^

i read this thing about the petion online today and i didnt even lnow what to think..
of course i feell bad for a few of them leaving for army, just like i cryed when leetuke was...but its an obligation..
i love exo, im a pure exotic...
and about the fact of the other kpop fans are hating and badmouthing EXO and EXOTICS, its making me frustated and angry..
because EXO are hardworking guys, talend...and most of all they have feeling too...s
so i also think these has to stop..
EXO WILL BE HURT BECAUSE OF THIS..
AND THATS SOMETING THAT ANY EXOTIC WANTS..

sometimes...i wish Exo didn't have the comeback for WOLF

because many immature fans started liking them.
and many people started hating them too..

but i guess...we need to deal with this
