I've been waiting for this since I finally admitted to myself that, damn, I am a KPop Fan, an ELF to be particular. I've been waiting for this since I started to like their dorky image. I've been waiting for this since I started to know them by their names. I've been waiting for this since I had a crush on each of them. I've been waiting for this since the time I woke up and have finally realized, yep, I am buried deep in this fandom and there is no0 way out.

 

Super Show 5 Manila finally came my way!

 

I was really hopeful when it was rumored, so freaking happy when it was confirmed, excited when I got the ticket, determined while waiting in line, just damn stunned when it finally started, my emotions went haywire during, and beyond thankful when it ended.

 

I was already in the venue at 1PM the day before the concert. I looked for the line and asked the guards about it. They told me there was no line yet. I already saw few PhELF going around the venue and was probably waiting for the line to form, too. Around 3 in the afternoon, we checked in a hotel and I had a really fun time with other ELFs I met during SJ Fiesta. We spazzed and waited patiently.

 

It was around 10 in the evening when the line was finally formed. I made friends with other ELFs in the line, may they be in the same section as me or not. There were also J-ELFs just behind us, and some other nationalities I’m not really sure of.

 

Most of us were asked if our parents are supportive of us being an ELF but I was really surprised and happy when one of us said that her child is supportive of her. Yes, she’s an ELF, and already a mother! And I admire her for that!

 

Me and my friends talked and laughed, and spazzed just so we won’t fall asleep. I think me and my friends were the only ones awake in line, almost everyone are lying on the cold floor and sleeping. It was really nice seeing my co-ELFs are really dedicated to our Super Junior oppas.

 

To secure the line, we wrote our order on our wrists. My number is “VIP3-49” and I take pride of it! I’m happy I’m one of the firsts in line.

 

When morning of the 24th came, there are a lot already who’s giving out banners for the fan projects. I managed to get almost all of them. They also gave photo cards and, for the ZhouRy project in particular, candies.

 

Around noon, our beloved oppas landed safely in our beautiful country. It was around the same time that we’re about to eat lunch. I couldn’t eat and, honestly, I can’t go to the washroom because I’m waiting for them to arrive at the venue. It took a long time before I finally convinced myself that I should just start eating. I opened my mouth for the first bite, suddenly everyone was shouting! Damn! I hurriedly put my lunch away and joined the screams of my fellow ELFs. I stood on the ramp just so I can have a glimpse of them going off their van, and I’m lucky because I saw Heechul entering the venue. Oh, what an early Christmas gift for me.

 

The whole time we waited, Super Junior songs accompanied us. We sang along, practiced our fanchants and cheered whenever our favorite SJ song plays. I think Mr. Simple and Marry U are the two songs that was played most of the time. I remembered myself shouting “Yang Mr. Simple at Marry U kota na! From U naman!”

By the way, whoever you are in the Carpark who set up a White Lady mannequin at the 9th floor, you gave most of us a mini heart attack and a good laugh!

 

Then finally, the guards alerted us that it’s about time we enter the lobby. Everyone was on their toes and just excited. That’s when we realized there are some who interjected in our lines. I was really mad when I saw some trying to squeeze themselves in the first rows of the lines. We waited in line for more or less 12 hours, the last thing we need are unfair people cutting in!

 

I had a brief but beautiful Potter feels when we chanted “Number! Number! Number!” to the guards. We appealed that we made a system. We wrote numbers on our wrists to figure out who’s the first in line. Since there are some ELFs who couldn’t hear our arguments all the way from the back, almost everything was in domino effect. Then, there’s this one time when we raised our hands. I looked behind me to ask support to the ELFs behind. We don’t want other people cutting in line, and we need everyone’s cooperation and agreement that we should go by the number. And it happened. The girl at the very first held her wrist up to show her number. Then one by one we raise our own. It’s like when Dumbledore died and, led by McGonagall, students and teachers raised their wands. I watched it happen with my own eyes and I was just plain admiring the oneness of ELFs against unfairness.

 

But what’s funny? Even if we were fighting against other cutting-in-line-ELFs, we still sang along with SJ songs that ware being played by a certain booth I’m not sure what’s called. We even did the fanchants! Arguing or not, we’re still one when it comes to supporting our beloved oppas.

 

Thankfully, the guard agreed to our plea and he sent bouncers, those guys with really huge muscles in black, to put an order. We were really happy. Suddenly the song “Song For You” played.  I was just so happy that the bouncers came, I don’t know but I think I started it, when the chorus played, we sang really loud “Sa~~Rang~~Hae~Yo~,”complete with a heart shape over our heads to the bouncers! One of them smiled at me.

 

And there we are, two hours before the concert we’re lining up to enter the VIP area. I won’t be a hypocrite so I’m going to say it, the staff inside the MoA Arena made our attempts of a proper order, and the bouncers efforts to correct the line we made become useless. I swear, I was really mad when others made their own line and cut through the entrance. When the doors opened, it was a riot there! I got squished, I got bruises, and somebody really punched me on my stomach! So friends, that’s the story why I got a bad case of stomachache before concert. That’s the story of how I got a bruise on my left arm, and two on my right.

 

I was mad, bad vibes was around me, and I’m completely frustrated. I was scared, too that I might not enjoy the concert because of that, but I was proved wrong.

 

The moment the lights dimmed and the song started to play, I forgot everything and before I knew it, I’m enjoying the show. Actually, no, the word “enjoy” wouldn’t do justice to what I really felt. Even if I was part of the mosh pit where everyone are starting to get violent, I had the time of my life!

 

I was jumping, I was cheering with my lightstick, I raised my banners, I sang along, I danced, I screamed, I cried, and I was beyond happy!

 

October 24, 2013: D- Day!

 

That’s the day I first saw them, and just wow.

 

The VTRs are really, really, really good. One had me on my toes, one had me doubled with laughter, one made me cry, and all of them had me adoring my Super Junior oppas.

 

Though they didn’t perform my old school favorites, Don’t Don and U, all the songs they sang and danced made me hyper and on party mode the whole evening, actually, up to now. Haha! But let’s make an exception here. I did like the first part of the Club No.1 performance until those girls started appearing then my SuJu oppas danced with them a very intimate dance. Sheeez… I kept shouting “NO! ANDWE! OPPA, HAJIMA!!!” I didn’t know I know a lot of curse words but I said them all during that torturous three minutes. I think someone even laughed at me when I yelled, “Kyuhyun, wag kang uuwi ng bahay! Sa labas ka matutulog katabi ng aso!”

 

And the members, they are perfect! Do I need to say more?

 

Heechul had me praise the floor he walked on. I can’t be sure but I think he didn’t wear make up but, , please! He’s the real diva and whatever he does whenever he will, everyone will love him. Haha! He was shy at first but I saw one of his 4D moments. I consider myself lucky, not everyone saw that! And that solo performace is dae~to the~ bak! I was momentarily reminded of the song “This is Me” by Demi Lovato. Heenim was at the topmost part, the highest area, of the stage with his back facing us while the music video of Close Your Mouth played on the screen. Then he sang and danced to the song making us fall in love with him over and over again. At the second stage, there is a couch and he sat there with other girl dancers and he sort of flirted with them. All that registered in my mind was that his tongue is the most beautiful tongue (I know, that’s creepy), and how loud me and everyone else was shouting “oppa, andwe! Oppa, no!! HEENIM STOP IT, DAMN!”He totally wrecked my bias list. 우유빛깔 김희철! 사랑해요 김희절!

 

Kangin is just wow! How can someone look so manly and cute at the same time?! He’s voice got me swooning over him. He was seldom at my area and, just why Kangin?! He poured us with water! Though it was the members who got most of it, I was splashed with some, too. Talk about holy water. And please! That cross dressing performance, really! He’s so beautiful, and flirty, and just plain malandi! Haha!

 

Shindong also surprised me with his R’nB  style of singing. I forgot what song that was, I’m sorry, but seriously, SM Ent. has to make him sing more! He’s got that relaxing voice. What a lucky girl Nari is.

 

Sungmin, oh that cute guy, ugh! He’s handsome when he’s has to be manly, he’s cute when he has to be cute, and damn it, he’s beautiful! Though I think, he really enjoyed the Food Support Project, his tummy is bulging out and I can’t help but laugh and at the same be at awe. Why you ask? He was serious all throughout their cross dressing performance. It as if what he’s doing is perfectly normal. He kept a serious yet flirty face! Even with that bulging tummy, Sungmin oppa, you are the iest! But just what is it in our Piso that’s so amazing that you can’t help but just be amazed by it? Oh, that look on your face! I never thought I would ever spazz just because of one peso.

 

Zhoumi, too, wrecked my bias list! Gaaaaah!!! These boys and the things that they do to me! He totally nailed it during their “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You” performance. Just wow, his voice really is something everyone can’t help but just admire. I had a little moment with him, too. When he was at our area, a remembered the members saying that Mimi likes doing a heart shape with his hands, so my hands automatically shoot up and formed a heart. He saw me, I mean, he freaking made an eye contact with me, then he looked at my heart, then he, too, made a heart! My feels!!!

 

Ryeowook is the prince of fan service, or according to him, fan love. He took a lot of fan’s polaroids and took selcas with them. Not only that, he waved brightly to everyone, and the smile on his face didn’t leave. Plus his cross dressing performance is A-MA-ZIIIING! He looked like a doll. What a cutie!

 

So now? Who’s left? Yes, they are my bias, or at least they were until before the show started. And yes, they are five because one does not simply have one bias in this group!

 

Siwon was the first one I looked for because he’s my first ever bias in Super Junior. I was asdfghjkl when I had a moment with him. UGH!!! I think it was y, Free, and Single and they are dancing on the second stage, which meant just in front of me! I was holding the Captain America Shield with his name. I was shouting his name but I’m pretty sure, screams behind me drowned my voice. That’s when my sign did the work for me. He saw it and looked at me. You think that’s it? No! HE FREAKING WINKED AT ME AND GAVE ME A THUMB KISS!!! I swear, I was blank for a second, I thought I was going to faint. What kind of hero am I in my past life to deserve this attention from the Choi Siwon? And then here comes the cross dressing performace, (sorry if I keep talking about it but it’s one that really made a mark on me) Siwon, the SIWON was in blue glittery dress with curled hair and a freaking stiletto! Shiz, I can’t wear that kind of shoes but he did and he was dancing! His legs is white and ASDFGHJKL! He was flirty but I hate to say this, that look scared me! I just can’t see him in that way, it’s just a no, no! I hope that this will be first and last show he would ever wear something like that! I t was funny, yes, but that’s something you don’t want to see frequently on your future husband. Also, that prince’s normal face is Derp. I swear! What they say is true! It’s his normal face. He’s way different from those cool poses he does for magazines and advertisements. He’s love contorting his face to the point that I am totally convinced that that is completely normal.

 

If Wookie is the prince, Donghae is the KING of Fanlove! He stood in front of us wearing all white, He was standing there like a lost but behaved child for the first three seconds then his eyes landed on a sign. He tried to read it, though I didn’t see it, I hope he understood it. The next thing he did made my mind go on system error. His eyes swept on us in the front row. One by one he looked at us in the area straight in our eyes. Not that kind of look when you go window shopping and you see uninteresting things, but he looked at us as if he’s in love with each one of us! That look he gave us is dripping with love! Not the kind that he gives to his on screen love partners on his dramas, but the kind of look that says “I love you, babe,” and damn it, I forgot why he’s just a five year old boy to me. I also saw him took a phone from a fan. It was funny watching the girl panic and yell at Donghae “andwe” but the guy just walked away. When he came back, he used the phone to call someone. Reading his lips, I saw him say “Omma” to the one on the other line. What a lucky mother! I was really envious of the girl. Hae also loves lifting the members on his shoulder. In front of us, he put Henry on his shoulders and started to take off the poor Mochi’s pants! If you’re curious, Henry’s under pants is maroon. If there is one thing I’m not happy about, he was completely dressed the whole show. Geez, Donghae, I waited a long time to see your abs! I think I shouted “take that shirt off NOW!” once to him but I’m not sure if he heard me.

 

Eunhyuk is HOT. He dances like a he’s got no bones and joints. He is the exact the definition of sizzling hot and y. I was literally sweating by just watching him strut that body. Don’t even make me start talking about his hip . I don’t want to be y in this post. I was really tired during the Rockstar performance! He’s UGH and ASDFGHJKL and QWERTYUIOP and ZXCVBNM and damn it, Se to the xy! Not only that, he’s beyond handsome in personal and up close! Don’t be fooled by the photos and videos, he’s way better looking up close and personal! Sheeeez ashfbsdjkgh! He also did a good job of leading the members, Leeteuk would be so proud of you, Mr. Lee Hyukjae. He is the Performance God!

Henry is adorable, no, more than that! From trying to be safe in “Super Girl” to *read using Black American accent*doing his thang. That night, I was trapped and just screaming 1-4-3 and 4-8-6! He actually hopped on the piano and danced on top of it. Now that’s what I call too hot-hot-to-handle! Mochi is too cute with whatever he does! He doesn’t go to our area often but I had a moment with him too! Hah! I’m lucky. When he walked around our area, I was holding up my “Henry 143” banner. He saw it and he freaking sent me a flying kiss. ASDFGHJKL

 

Saving the best for last and that best is Kyuhyun.  He is my man, though I know a lot of you would say the same thing for yourselves, but hey, just let me have my moment here. He’s great at dancing, I like his singing best, for me he’s the most handsome, he has the best smile yet the most evil smirks, he is everything I want my Mr. Simple be. My love for him only intensified even more if that was still possible. It was him who I watched most and I still can’t get enough of him. It was him who took my heart that night. So what is the special thing that happened? It was during the last song, “So I”. If you didn’t know, that is my favorite song, not because it’s Korean, not because it was sung by Super Junior, but because there’s just too much love in the song. I stepped back already to give way to the others behind me, no, actually, the main reason is that I want to hear my favorite song be sang by the member I’m more biased with, of course, Kyuhyun. He was a bit far from my area so I had to step back so I can watch him. Though I didn’t manage to squeeze myself to be in the front row again, I was at least around his area of vision. I was at awe that time. How wonderful can this guy be? I didn’t notice I stopped waving my light stick and I’m just smiling there, contented, and just staring at him, so nobody could ever, ever, ever describe how surprised, happy, overwhelmed, and lucky I felt that five seconds of my life. It will be one of the best five seconds of my life that I will revisit every freaking night before I go to sleep and what I will always remember when I look at him. In that five seconds, he saw me staring at him. He was at first serious when he made an eye to eye contact with me, then he smiled. He pointed at me and waved. My heart literally stopped beating. Then he put his hand down and looked around again. I didn’t know how long I held my breath; I only noticed it when gazillion white confetti showered us. I don’t know what the is wrong with me but I had my sudden 4D moment. Like a lost child in a fairytale, I raised my hand and watched the confetti fall around me. When I caught one, a smile formed on my face. My eyes are starting to water. I just couldn’t believe I’m there, watching them, and, for the love of God, Kyuhyun just waved at me. If you think that’s the end of it, you’re wrong.  Because when I looked up to the stage, I met eyes with Kyuhyun again. I mentally smacked my face when I realized that he just watched, yes, he freaking saw my 4D moment! But then he smiled, and for the second time that night, he took my breath away.

 

That night I got married with my Super Junior oppas.

 

Uhm, no, maybe it’s time to call them “baby.” ASDFGHJKL That’s how Eunhyuk called us, “baby~” ASDFGHJKL “I love you, baby~” Somebody help me! I need oxygen!!!

 

Then that Eunhae moment towards the end! Donghae was still saying goodbye to ELFs in the second stage and when he turned around to leave, there his Hyukjae was, on the main stage, and waiting for him!  Hae put Eunhyuk on his shoulder and carried him to the backstage while waving goodbye to the ELFs.

 

Up to now, I still can’t believe that watched them, that they are real human beings and moving in front of me. ASDFGHJKL

 

So, Super Junior babies, we promised not to cheat on you while you’re gone, but you have to fulfill your promise to come back for Super Show 6, okay!

 

I love you, Super Junior! I’ll wait for you, baby!
