Just Me and Myself

Background : Mel grew up in the busy city of Melbourne in Australia, with her Father, Mother and younger brother Matt. Her parents divorced when she was eleven and her father later passed away in a car crash when she was 13. Mel was bullied all through the first 3 years at high school but later she believed things would improve with a sudden scholorship for an exchange at Heungduk High school in Cheongju, South Korea. Things started out well and she became friends with several students, but due to her crazy, 4D and bubbly personality she began to be bullied again as she views the world in a different manner than most people. She is currently staying with a close Korean- American friend who also attends the school Tia. 

Personality : Mel is bubbly, enthusiastic and friendly, she loves to give everything a go and never judges a book by it's cover. She is very overdramatic and loves to finish everything she does with a bang. She is thick skinned because of the bullying she has recieved and having grown up in the rough part of the city she is full of courage but recklessness. For her 16th birthday she plans to go skydiving and she loves the thrill of adrenelin. She has a smile that can brighten up anyones day and once you get past the crazy 4D girl you can see a blossoming young woman waiting to come out of her shell. 

Likes : Dancing, Acting, Horror movies, Caramel Freppes' and making people smile. 

Dislikes : Bullies, Crowds, Thunder (phobia), tight spaces and boredom. 

Hobbies : Acting, Dancing and Cooking

Habits : over-eating, showing off, making weird faces.

Love and Coffee

Love Story : Maru and Mel met when she moved to Korea for exchange with her family. They both attend the same school and i bet you think it's just a simple friendly classmate relationship...Wrong! Maru is in the group bullying Mel but he has never done anything hurt her besides standing and watching people torment her instead of stopping it. Though Mel is still head over heals for the clueless teen, he himself won't admit that he has feelings for the short Aussie but he does and there is no denying it. The two then start going to the same coffee shop every day before school and on weekends, allowing the two to get to know each other for who they really are. Will Maru be the frist and only person to break through Mel's shell of bubbliness. 

Problems : Maru has a girlfriend named Melanie (coincidense I think not), she is the y Queenka of the school who will stop at nothing to keep the two apart. Mel is also guarded by one of her best friends P.O another classmate a few years above herself, though he has feelings for her she only sees him as her Oppa. The bullying problem is also in the way of them getting together as Mel is the unpopular, loud and obnoxious girl and Maru is one of the popular, handsome Kinkas.

When did you meet Soori (the owner) ?

While running home after getting beaten up at school by the Melanie and the other queenkas. 

What happened when you met her? 

 Mel bumped into Soori who bought her into the coffee shop and cleaned her up. 

She was asking about your problem. Are you hesitate to tell her?

Mel was very hesitant at first, lying that she was just very clumsy and had fallen down a few stairs. But her bruises said other wise, she eventually confessed and Soori politely listened and gave advice for the bullying. 

Why did you come to L'aime Coffeehouse in the first place?

She needed a place where she could be herself and relax under all the pressure of being a teenager with hard school work and bullying Soori's shop was just what she needed to release the stress.
