i just found out that one of the fanfiction authors I followed has passed away from lung cancer

i'm so shocked because this is the first time i've had a close (if you can call this close) personal experience with death

she mentioned that she was going through major surgery, but she survived the surgery and finished her story, so we all thought she was going to be okay

then she didn't update for a while, until her cousin went on all her stories and gave us the news

although  I did not personally know her, she always left messages at the end of her stories, and by the time it ended i almost felt like i knew her in real life

she responded to one of my comments once, and she was so sweet and wonderful

i actually started tearing up and then crying because i read it and then i read it again and i just sat there in total shock

Rest in peace, iamaningenue. I will miss you so much.
