of all the times i've seen SHINee, i've never written a fan account complete with photos before so my first time will be dedicated to AFF! to sum it all up, my lucky stars were shining on me on August 27th! i was worried that i wouldn't be able to get a good view of the boys since i couldn't queue from morning (i had a class from 1230-1630 when admission to the event hall began at 5pm) so my mind was all over the place. my friend was in the queue though but she wasn't in a really good position since the queue was mega long by the time she got there. thankfully, to cut a long story short, my class ended at 1530 instead and i managed to reach the venue an hour later. this is when i got really lucky! i ended up with VIP tags so all i had to do was join the VIP queue which was way shorter than the "normal" queue and we got inside much earlier than the rest of the crowd.

that was really important because in order to enter the concert area itself, we all had to complete 3 stages and get 3 stamps first. there wasn't much people when i got in so i could quickly get through all 3 stages. by the time i entered the concert area, i managed to secure a really good spot (in my opinion) to see the boys and that was just lovely. i'll let the photos do the talking now! beware, image heavy. :)

so the boys sang four songs in total, Dream Girl, Lucifer, Beautiful and Why So Serious. Kibum took over most, if not all, of Minho's part. in case you didn't know, Minho couldn't attend since he had drama commitments. it definitely wasn't as perfect as it could be (for obvious reasons, Minho is irreplaceable. OT5 forever and always) but it was lovely seeing the four of them. though i was really sad that there couldn't be any OTP moments (minkey and 2min, boohoo). the concert was really short, even their talk session wasn't long or that interesting because they only answered routine questions. even the lucky contest winners who went up to meet them only got to shake their hands and they were off stage before they knew it. honestly, i would rather watch them interact with fans (even if i don't get chosen) than that. like what happened at their taiwan fanmeet! i guess fancams will do a better job than me in explaining that so just head onto youtube dear readers. ^^ the flow of the concert was a lil weird too cause the host kept sending the boys backstage after one song. even the boys were confused/lost at one point in time. but all in all, the concert went by really fast, the boys did their job, performed, talked a bit and promoted Etude.

i know there are fans saying how they seem unhappy/grumpy/pissed/bored when they're in Singapore. and i mean, look at Taem! he wasn't smiling much in my photos too. but i honestly don't think they hate us because i've seen them at SHINee World Concert and boy were they high. but i guess it's just that it's an Etude event so they can't do much. plus i do think they were tired since they took a night flight, had press conferences etc. wait. i don't even know why i'm typing all this. oh well. moving on.

it was a great night seeing the boys again after 3 months. i met them in May at a fansign in Korea and that was the luckiest i've ever been. that's another story though. see what i mean when i say i don't write fan accs? i usually always just share them with friends and only if they ask. most of the times, i just keep to myself so writing this is something new. but still fun! alrighty! to summarise the night in 3 photos...
