I had about 30 friend requests sitting unanswered, and I finally got around to looking at them. I’ve decided to be picky about who I accept as a friend, because I really don’t know a lot of people on this site. So now what I’m doing is clicking on people’s names and looking at our history, and unless you’ve commented at least once on my stories, I’m not accepting you as a friend. Even if you’re subscribed, if you haven’t had any one to one contact with me (story comment, wall post, PM) then I’m not accepting you. It’s the only way I can think to manage requests. If you want to you can of course subscribe to my blog, and you can carry on being a silent reader, I really don’t care, but don’t expect me to accept you as a friend.

That being said, I didn’t ignore anyone’s request unless I looked at our history and saw that we didn’t have a history at all. And surprisingly, there were a lot of those people!! I mean really, who is requesting me as a friend and they’re not even subscribed to my stories? Are these the people who unsubscribe when a story is complete? (Rude .___.) Or are they just coming across me and adding me willy-nilly? That’s…kind of creepy, not gonna lie.

So now the bottom line is if you want me as a friend, you have to talk to me. I think that’s a reasonable request.
