the author of 'Absolute Chanyeol' is.. rude?

So I was asked a question on Ask.fm about what fic did I think was overrated. I didn't know any to be honest, but someone I'm REALLLLY close to said Absolute Chanyeol and then she commented on how the author was a . I asked how and she explained to me...

My friend: i praised the girl on her writing and told her it inspired me to make a fanfic and i told her i made up an epilogue to her story and what happened after. I didnt plan on putting it up on AFF. she ED at me saying how i was plagiarizing and said i was totally out of line..

Isn't that kind of out of the line? You ed at someone who gave you praise? That's not cute and it doesn't look good for you as an author at all. I haven't read the fic at all since I'm not a Baekyeol fic reader or anything. But if someone reccommended it to me, I definitely wouldn't read it now due to the rudeness of the author.

It's a shame how a fic can be ruined by it's own author.

I'm not technically BASHING her, but I'm voicing out an opinion on how authors shouldn't treat fans of a fic like that. They should be at least NICE to them when being complimented... If you're being praised/respected, you should respect them back... right?

See, Absolute Chanyeol was plagiarized and posted in so many other sites despite the author telling readers not to re-post her story elsewhere. .C. is locked/hidden for that reason. So, when that girl told her she wrote an epilogue for A.C., I didn't think author who was already plagiarized and who specifically told readers not to take anything or change anything from her story would be so nice. Writing an epilogue based on her story and how she characterized Baek and Chanyeol without her permission is not something we are allowed to do. Author could have been more civil but who could be civil to plagiarizers?

Perhaps it was the phrasing your friend used. Or maybe the author didn't mean her answer the way it came across... Communicating through text in this sort of situation is never ideal and often leads to miscommunication
