Background -
Ahn HyuYao was born to a middle-class family. Mr. Ahn moved from Bangkok, Thailand to South Korea
in hopes to find a much more stable job in his homeland. But Korea only brought on bad news after bad news. The company Mr. Ahn
worked for had gone bunkrupt leaving him and his family pennyless, while all this was happening HyuYao had not the
smallest idea about what was happening. She only found out about her family problems when her father was sent to prison
because Mr. Ahn got into drug trading because of the need for money. Her father's poor choice drove them farther into
poverty. Ahn HyuYao and her brother and mother moved in with her father's parents right after their little
apartment in Souel was sold.
HyuYao was always called queer in every little way. Her little schoolmates didn't appriciate her knack for
making jokes since all of them were to darn serious to get it (the jokes). HyuYao lived a lonely life without
even one school friend. This worsened when HyuYao became addicted to eating, she got so fat that her kneck
wasn't shown anymore. HyuYao suddenly passed out while in school, and after she was sent to the
hospital, the docter said if HyuYao wouldn't take care of herself she was at risk at getting diabetes.
Because of the hospital bill alone, HyuYao was forced to stop school to pay for it (hospital bill). HyuYao used the one
year rest to change herself, to make herself thinner, after that HyuYao was back thinner and brighter than ever.
