How our choices get affected (Reblog to make it usefull!)

How a popular group affects or choices THE SURVEY!
Reblog this to make it usefull.

I saw in the survey that most of us dermine to read the fanfiction by the popular group used.
This survey is going to be about how a group affects the popularity of a fanfictions

WARNING!! It does not mean that  a story which writes a story according to the results of the poll might be good or popular. This survey is simply an intake on how popular groups tend to affect or choices in fanfiction. And Iove I Exo, don't misunderstand by doing this poll.

Well, in my votes, I hated on exo..... But, I feel bad for doing that. I don't hate on exo, I just dislike how they're really popular with fans. People these days are being really SM biased. But at least most of aff is mixed with varieties of idols.

Exo are famous because fans like them. (I dunno why they do) It's not Exo's fault they're really popular. I don't regret voting negative stuff about exo. But I do dislike how THEY are getting promotes on aff and not anything else ^^

It's difficult to answer some of these because I don't base my story choice on which groups are popular and which groups I should try out to see if the fanfiction will be good.

Exo' my #1 group right now, so I mainly read their stories. Occasionally I'll look through other pairings, like navi from vixx or woogyu from infinite. If there's anything for me to try out, it'd be the authors writing style. If their plot is good but their writing , or if I look at a fic just because its my otp and their writing , I'm not gonna stay.

The readers favourite groups do play a pretty big role in reading fics, but right after that for most people would be the writing style.

It's all about the readers or the market. Stories featuring groups that has more fans would get more attention. AFF, after all, is a FANFICTION site. FANS are biased. Why would they read a story about a group they don't like or know nothing about? It is easier for them to relate to a story if they could imagine oppa doing this or that. Fangirl fantasies. But if I am in a FICTION site, wherein all the characters are OCs, then I'd read based on genre. What genre got the most votes? Romance and fluff? Figures.
