short bio ⋮ Probably the oldest out of the other assassins, Nayoung is the  one the others look up to as an example. Her skills lie best in her strategies and planning and hand to hand combat. She's assertive and witty, always out to get what she wants. She's rather cold and serious, brutally honest and quick to point fingers. She's able to tell what other lack and need to improve on as she bases this out of her own experiences. Thinking she's always right, she mostly is but at times can be wrong in the worst situations. Rather dependent on Neptune since she's the only one of close age and probably the only one who truly understands her.

background story & personality ⋮ When Kim Nayoung was little, she was a happy child. She went to school and lived a normal life. She had a couple of boyfriends and was at the top of her class. Her dream was to work for the FBI in the Behavioral Analysis Unit. She wanted to do good for this world and she wanted to make her parents proud of her. Sadly, that all changed. When she was 17, her parents were brutally murdered and burnt down along with her home, leaving Nayoung as the only survivor. Nayoung's memory of that day is as vivid as when she first saw it. That day, her personality had become twisted and she changed. She vowed to avenge her parents and burn the body of their killer herself. 

Her blood thirst didn't go unnoticed. The headmaster of SSA was there the day her parents were killed, watching from the shadows. He was there to inspect and evaluate one of his agents, Altair, but that day he managed to find a diamond in the rough. He noticed the look in Nayoung's eyes and decided this could very well work out for the both of them all on his own. He approached her and scouted her for SSA, assuring her that he would help her catch her parent's killer, hiding the fact that the killer would soon become one of Nayoung's co workers. 

Nayoung blindly trusted the headmaster and so she trained. She trained under him and became one of the best, her mind filled with revenge. She had become an empty shell. She was cold, indifferent, collected and expressionless to anything that didn't concern her. She was confident in her abilities and she always strived for perfection. She was cautious and became a strategist, the intelligence she nurtured for good now being used for evil. She had become the kind of person she once wanted to capture. She lived for one thing only, and that was her vengeance. 

As an assassin, Nayoung has been placed as the leader type for her ability to perceive a situation and plan accordingly, taking what she knows about her team's abilities and using them to their fullest capabilities. She's the type to not normally be on the front lines since fighting is not her forte despite her training. Her decisions are usually level headed and cautious since she refuses to take risks and only works with a 100% success rate. In a team, she's usually the one watching from the shadows, giving direct orders and making sure her teammates remain as safe as possible. She takes her job very seriously and doesn't deal well with easy going people on the job. When she's on her own, she also rarely fights, her preferred tactic being to sneak up on her target and get the job done fast. 

lifestyle ⋮ Nayoung makes a living by working as a stuntwoman. She lives by herself in a run down apartment that she barely visits. Her apartment isn't even a home to her, it's just a place to sleep and to keep appearances in. During the day she's working and filming but during the night she's training at the academy or off on missions. Most of her free time she spends resting and when she's not, she's searching for the bastard that killed her family and ruined her life. Neptune at times helps her take a break from her unhealthy lifestyle and gets her to calm down and have some fun but it's very rare for Nayoung to comply with her.

found or enrolled ⋮ Nayoung was found by the headmaster after he saw potential in her the day her parents were killed. He saw her blood thirst and need for revenge and decided to use it against her, making her an assassin and working for the same place that sent out her parent's killer. Of course, Nayoung doesn't know any of this when she agrees to go with him to train and become strong, strong enough to kill her parent's killer.

⋯ relationship with character ⋮ Nayoung sincerely believes her only rival is Neptune. Neptune is her only close friend and she is the exact opposite of her, which Nayoung so deeply admires. Neptune is the only one she can count on to always have her back and she doesn't ever want to lose to her because she doesn't want to disappoint her. A lot of her confidence comes from having Neptune by her side and even if Neptune betrays her, she could never hate her.

⋯ personality & relationship ⋮ Suho is the stuntman instructor at the stuntman academy Nayoung works for. He constantly watches her training and even has a crush on her, at times having tried to ask her out but to no avail. He often tries to give her pointers in hopes to come close to her but Nayoung almost always ignores him. There are times when she listens to him and it's those times that give Suho the hopes he needs to continue his unrequited love. He's playful and has his own charms that are at times cute and at others manly. Even though he never receives Nayoung's affection, even she becomes mesmerized when watching him act his stunts, even finding herself lacking at points and using him as a model to follow. Whenever he sees her, Suho goes directly towards her, like a trained puppy, and talks with her even though Nayoung treats him coldly. There are times when she replies to him and even continues a conversation, and it's those times that give Suho hope because he never sees her act that way towards anyone. 

desired ending ⋮ Happy ending: Nayoung gives up her revenge because she falls deeply in love with Suho and realizes that if she continues on such a search, all she'll end up is feeling empty and alone forever and when she imagines herself like that in a world where she doesn't have Suho to run to, she immediately knows that to her, Suho has become more important than avenging her parents. 

Sad ending (my preference): Altair is sent out on another mission by the headmaster; to kill Suho. The headmaster realizes that Nayoung is beginning to fall in love and sents out to destroy such a notion before he loses such an important pawn like Nayoung. Altair succeeds in her mission, leaving Nayoung with no clue to who killed him, making her relive her parents memory and causing her to blame herself. In an attempt to make for up for her wrongs and trying to set things right, Nayoung uses her branding iron against her own cheek before stabbing herself once with her pocket knife, lying down next to Suho's dead cadaver before bleeding to death.
