Personality:

Down to earth and honest to the core, Daehoon is not a serious dude. You could say he's eternally a teenage kid who needs his freedom and stash of grape flavored candy and soda. Despite that, he works hard and acts serious when necessary. It just doesn't happen everyday. Daehoon is a naturally optimistic person so there's not much things that can tick him off. When the mood is sour, he pulls up his confidence and does weird body gags and erted jokes to make the mood better. Oh and when he is just in a good mood, beware of what you say. He will somehow find a way to retort back dirty sentences to you.
As much as he's a bubbly munchkin, be careful with him. If bossed around too much, you best believe your cause of death will be a violin smashed on your head while you're repeatedly stabbed everywhere with the bow with an evil grin on his face as blood starts spilling everywhere. Another one of his negative traits is that he procrastinates to the point where he does things to the last minute. He's also over-indulgent, forgetting too much about reality; procrastinating in other words.

Family Background:

Born in the hot Orlando, Daehoon was raised with sunblock, grape soda and a decent amount of discipline. He grew up with his playful older brother, experiencing his verbal and physical teases and two playful and strict parents. He still wonders to this day how he's still sane by the way he actually grew up.
Because he was in America, his parents never really considered teaching him Korean. So as a young kid, he was a A+ Student at English and a considerably high grade in Mathematics but doesn't know a single word of Korean.

Friends background:

Minseok - While auditioning for SM, Daehoon acidentally came across him as he was exiting one of the training rooms where the audition was held. Being the fan he was, he asked for his autograph on his shirt (Which he still has). Minseok was interested in him and asked for his Kakao. The two talk a lot through Kakao, giving Daehoon advice as he was auditioning for many companies. They eventually became close and met out in Hongdae a lot of times.

Junsu - He met him through Minseok and a couple of other seniors when he was invited to a mini birthday party of Minseok's friend (Who he also met and became friends with). The two drank soju and talked along with five others, eventually becoming friends. They're not so close now as Junsu has his schedules to attend. But they still manage to contact each other once in a while.

Sungjong - During Daehoon's early days in Korea, he went to Infinite's fansigning. Being a huge fan of Sungjong, he went up and asked for his autograph, saying the autographed CD was for his non-existent sister. Somewhere along the way, Daehoon blurted out he was a trainee in Starship. He was then asked to go backstage and wait until he was finished. The two talked and became aquainted after.

Bestfriends background:

He met them both at the same time when Minseok gave him backstage passes to an SMTown concert. He introduced himself as a trainee in Starship, gaining their interest. Because both him and Amber knew English, talking to each other was no problem after the concert. As for Tao, he never knew how they became best friends. Maybe because of the language barrier? They managed to talk with the little Korean they both know. After that backstage night, Daehoon met Amber a month later when she was out of schedule somewhere in COEX, having fun together. Him and Tao met again at EXO's comeback, going to the waiting room and giving him and everyone else in EXO bento.

Reasons of being rivals:

As much as the kid is 3 years younger, he just can't help but be rivals. Zelo may be a shy type, but when in front of Daehoon, he becomes a cocky person who boasts about his rap skills. Daehoon tries to ignore, but he just fights back most of the time.
 

Plan on reconciling?: They wont until someone like Queen Elizabeth screams in front of their faces to reconcile.

How did you met him?:

When the whole group met for the first time, that particular person caught Daehoon's eyes. As they trained together, he found himself becoming more attracted to him, both inside and outside.

Netizens are quite powerful in the industry. But it just depends on the bad news. If the news is completely false, who gives two sh*ts? Just ignore it and let the whole thing die out. But if there is some truth in the news, I would fix the situation by saying the truth and apologizing if necessary. Lying gets you nowhere you know?
