Albeit her feminine sounding name, she is actually far from a poised, elegant lady who does not touch let her pinky touch the teacup (Well to her friends that is) Mia is down to earth with a dirty sense of humor, always retorting back erted answers and wordplay whenever the chance is there. But she knows when to keep herself from replying dirty responses.
Mia has a carefree approach to most things, approaching most situations with a calm attitude. Although, sometimes she's too calm and carefree that she procrastinates to the point she has to do things last minute. She tries to break this attitude but well... it aint working well. She may be slow to anger, but when you do manage to push the right buttons, you best believe you're going to be skinned alive with a chainsaw by a girl with red eyes and devilish horns. No wonder why she's called the devil.
All of that fun shizzles though stops when she's in front of seniors and her parents. She strips off her street fun attitude to a serious, respective attitude. Bowing to them, silent and speaking only when necessary is the facade she shows when she's in front of them. This can be considered two-faced but she just tries to avoid any sort of trouble. Even if it means becoming a two faced girl.
Background:
Born in the sunny Florida, Mia was raised with sunblock (in desperation to keep herself away from a tan color), icy grape soda, a decent amount of homework and of course, discipline. Her family is considered upper class, though she thinks otherwise. Her Korean dad owns a Dentist Clinic while her American Mother works as a Cosmetic Surgeon. Just like any other Korean, she had her her fair taste of after school mathematics and musical tutoring at a young age. Thank god for her mom who considers her English decent, otherwise she'll be bombarbed with extra English homework.
Mia was considered a young prodigy in the guitar, joining in musical competitions and coming out with medals and trophies with a grin on her face. Her fingers move gracefully on the fret board as she strums the strings with finesse. Since she was an only child, one of her ways to keep herself happy was music and her lovely hot red guitar.
Along that, with some connections from her friends, she joined a group of young underground rappers. When she's not busy with her guitar, she heads to her friend's house to rap. She also joined rapped with her group in a competition. She may have not won that competition, but she earned a reputation as a badass female rapper among the underground rappers in her area.
Freshman year, high school was when things changed for her. She joined one of her school's rock bands, making it in as the band's lead guitarist, sub vocalist and only female member. Despite the five other guys who try to hit on her, she kept moving forward with her slick electric guitar skills. Once her parents saw her musical abilities in a Band competition, the three of them had a serious talk about starting a career in the Music Industry. Her dad had suggested her the Korean industry, thinking that she has more chances of making it out there.
Initially, Mia did not agree. She only considered music as a hobby to escape from annoying school work and a lonely house while both of her parents are usually working late nights or just a way to mute her parents' activities. If you get my drift *wink*. But after some persuasion and encouragement, she eventually packed her bags and went to live with her Auntie Heeyoung and Uncle Jonghyun.
She auditioned for God knows how many entertainment companies whilst she studied in a foreign school because lets be honest, without that school, her cause of death would be the extensive amount of Korean Language she doesn't know. After a number of rejections and a couple of letters saying she passed auditions, she has a choice between SM and Woollim. Without a doubt, she responded to Woollim, agreeing to become their trainee.

The two met when Myungsoo was on his way to the neighboring practice room when Mia was still new in Woollim. Mia was playing a random guitar riff on her electric guitar while the guitar was connected to an amplifier that was on full blast. She then moved to playing 'Before the Dawn'. Too bad the door wasn't shut properly because Myungsoo can hear the sound from just the entrance of the Practice rooms.
He decided to check out who was playing the guitar and sat on the corner of the room across the mirrors like a dork, watching her intently. When Mia finished her solo performance, she saw Myungsoo. And after that, lets just say she nearly smashed the guitar on top of his head. If it wasn't for Myungsoo's girly scream, he would have been the ICU Unit.

Despite his image and icy appearance, he's a kid at heart with a dorky image. Sometimes acting weird in front of everyone. He acts around Mia as if they were siblings. He's good at pranking and uses that skill well at the other members and Mia. But he's oblivious to the deeper things and it takes him time to analyze things.
