trainee life: She spent almost 8 hours a day to pratice dancing, singing, and acting. Because of this, she couldn't focus on school and got bad grades. She had to transfer school 2 times, before her parents decided to put her on homeschooling program. When she was a trainee at SM, she got bullied by another trainee due to her talent in dancing. She was once locked in a restroom by the person who bullied her, and it caused her a phobia for darkness. She then decided to drop out from SM and not too long from that, she was scouted by Woolim. In Woolim, she met some great singers who inspired her. She remembered when BoA came to Woolim and encouraged the trainees there to never give up and achieve their dreams. - It was when Paperclip performed on Music Bank and Ah Ra did a little mistake and fell on the stage. After they finished the performance, Ah Ra ran to stage and she accidentally bumped into someone. She mumbled, "I'm sorry." but then tears escaped from her eyes, and she sobbed. The person Ah Ra bumped to turned to be Minwoo. He couldn't stand seeing anyone cry, so he pulled her into a hug and calmed her. Ah Ra was surprised with Minwoo's sudden action but she didn't say anything, and cried on his chest instead. When the Paperclip members found them, Ah Ra hurriedly pulled herself from Minwoo and said, "Thank you." with a cracked voice because of crying. Minwoo just stood there and smiled at her. That was the first time Ah Ra met Minwoo, and started to like him.
- On Let's Go Dream Team! TV program, 100% and Paperclip had to pick their teammates, and Ah Ra shyly picked Minwoo. Then, the MC asked why she picked him, Ah Ra answered that she and Minwoo are both excel in sports, so they will make matchless team together. When Ah Ra about to slip in an obstacle, Minwoo who was watching on the courtside, he ran to capture her before she fall. Minwoo complained to the crews that if he didn't catch her, she will hit the woods below her and injured.
- Ah Ra signed a drama contract with a producer. On the drama, she got a role as a girl who suffered from leukimia, and she had to shave her hair. Half of her fans didn't like it and said that she looked ugly. Even though she was sad with the comments, she tried to hide it. But then, Minwoo mentioned her on Twitter and said that she looked stunning with her new hairstyle and did a great job on the drama. The other members also said the same thing, and she felt touched with their words.
- When she was in a vacation with her family, someone recognized her and asked for her signature. After that, the fanboy kneeled in front of her and asked her to marry him. Ah Ra was surprised and she could only stared at him, speechless. Fortunately, her father found her and make the fanboy go away.
