Fast Updates?

I just want to ask something: Is it good or bad to update fast?

I mean, I know for sure that many of you would say that it is best to update fast, but doesn't it kind of ruin the fun sometimes?

If you say there is a very interesting story, and it gets updated everyday, wouldn't that kind of ruin the whole excitement? Isn't it better to let people wait so it would be more exciting to read?

For me, I would like MELT if a story I like gets very fast updates, but what about you? Do you guys think it is okay to update fast?

-Asking because I feel like I update faster than regular authors ^^

I think it'd be perfect if you updates more, but not so much that we get more than we should. Idk do you understan what I mean right?
I think your 'teasing' thig works well, like when the story gets real good wait a while before updating so that we can rest our feels a bit ;D

I think fast updates are a bit better since it's easier to remember the plot and everything... if the timeperiod between the updates is to long some of the thrill will get lost...

I also understand very well that sometimes it just isn't possible to update because the inspiration is missing or work/ school gets in the way... I started to write fanfics on my own but never posted them because I never got further than chapter 2 or 3...

So in short: I like fast updates better but a fanfic isn't less good just because of not so fast updates *(^.^)*

I personally like fast updates too for stories I love ^-^ But from a author's perspective, I think maybe leaving a day or two in between updates wouldn't hurt :D It kinda builds up anticipation :3
