↺Style: Evie is one expensive girl; she loves her designer labels. She much prefers darker colours but won’t objectify to brighter colours as long as they aren’t neon or overly bright. However, she’s not too keen on floral prints or animal print, unless it’s minimal. She absolutely loves her leather jackets and her stilettos. Sometimes her clothing choice can be a little provocative, but it really depends on her mood.

Pretty face, pretty name, but an ugly personality. Evie is a good example of girls like that. She’s spoilt and selfish, never looking out for anyone else but herself. She’d rather have a large number of people get hurt than her. Evie is definitely someone that you wouldn’t want to cross paths with and you definitely don’t want to get on her bad side, which can seem like an impossible thing to do as she has a short-temper. Once you’re on her hate list you might as well be dead as she will torture you as much as possible. Luckily, though it doesn’t take much for her to become annoyed/angry with people it does take a lot for someone to be on her hate list. Only a few people are on that list. On her good days, she’s usually sarcastic and sometimes a little insulting to those that she speaks to.
Evie is a very independent and secretive person; she doesn’t have many close relationships and those who are close with her – or so they think – don’t know much about her. She prefers not to tell people much about herself as she is afraid that they will use it against her. She is also a manipulative person. She’s good at getting want she wants and being sly about it. She’s the type of person that won’t take no for an answer and if she doesn’t get what she wants then she will go to all sorts of extremes to try to get it. Failure is not an option for her and when she tends to destroy anything in her way.
She doesn’t have many good traits but some things that may be redeeming are her determination and her intelligence. She doesn’t show it often but Evie is highly intelligent and it can sometimes throw people off guard as most of the time she plays it down, pretending not to know much only to surprise them.

The majority of the things she does are to benefit her and she doesn’t take in mind what effect these things may have on other people. She’s a determined individual, stopping at nothing to get what she wants, sometimes becoming a ruthless and violent person.

↺Background:
Born in Busan, South Korea to a woman that Evie can’t remember. She lived Busan up until the age of 4 when she was taken away and put up for adoption. Evie couldn’t remember much about her early childhood but she knew it wasn’t pretty. All she remembers is the constant stench of dampness and the police constantly turning up on their doorstep.
Not long after she had been put up for adoption she was taken in by a French woman and a Koream businessman. Together they moved to Lille, France, which was where her adoptive father’s work was based in and they were the ones who gave her the name Evangeline. Growing she was extremely spoilt as she was their only child and having lived in poor conditions beforehand they felt guilty so to make up for it they bought her many expensive and pretty things. Also, since her father was a businessman he was away on business trips a lot which he felt guilty for so to make it up to Evie he would spoil her even more.
Everything started going downhill when she turned 18 and began to hang out with the wrong people. They were the type that did drugs, were alcoholics, vandalised property, shop lifted, etc. For Evie, all those things gave her that adrenaline rush that she had always looked for. She was a girl who wanted excitement and an adventure in her life and she finally got it. Her parents did not approve of her ways and Evie proved to be too much to handle for them. They tried putting her in therapy and grounding her but nothing worked so they left her alone hoping that it would be a phase that would pass soon.
However, that didn’t seem to be the case. They knew things were serious turned up one night with Evie covered in blood. According to her, the guy that she had killed came onto her and she acted in self defence but that wasn’t completely true. Evie was completely out of it and hallucinating when she stabbed a guy to death, thinking her was someone who was going to hurt her when he only wanted to help her. Afraid of what would happen to her if someone were to find out what truly happened she dumped his body in the middle of a lake. She told her parents this and they told her that they’ll take care of it. Despite everything that Evie had put her parents through for the past couple of months they still loved her and they knew that she didn’t mean to harm anyone.
The guilt of everything overwhelmed her and she became irrationally paranoid often waking up in the middle of the night plagued with nightmares. She began to drink copious amounts of alcohol to deal with it all but that didn’t seem to have much of an effect. Her parents tried putting her in therapy again but that was a bust like the first time; she only seemed to get worse with time and began to shut everyone out.

↺How: Committed suicide by hanging herself due to the overwhelming guilt. She hadn’t slept at all that week due to all the nightmares she was having and she was completely delirious that day. She kept on seeing the person she had murdered, and hearing their voice. She couldn’t shake it and she went insane and killed herself
↺Why: She shed blood of an innocent person and she has a history of things that she did that were unclean (drugs, alcohol, shoplifting, beating up students for minor things etc). So, to atone for her sins she was sent to hell.
↺Outlook: She hated hell at first but she eventually got used to it. Somewhere during her stay in hell she lost her old self and became the mask that she put on fit in with her old “friends” when she was human. Even then, she was barely surviving and she changed who was again to this manipulative person. She became someone that she can barely recognise and she recently she has realised that. She can hardly remember who she was before she died and even before she started hanging out with the druggies. Though she won’t admit it, she sort of wants to find herself again but being a demon she knows that it’s almost impossible to live as a demon if she was to return to her old self.

Evie is too shocked when she runs into G.NA. She’s the only reminder that is left of her old self and naturally she pushes her away but G.NA is too persistent and somehow turns up wherever she is.

Usually they argue a lot but, recently, they have been talking more often and he’s stopped making snide comments about her and they have had this weird friendship going on.

↺Love Interest: Yoo Youngjae, the angel
↺Personality: Youngjae is pretty much the opposite of Evie. He’s considerate and kind, always willing to help someone in need. He hates all kinds of violence and will only result to it if he sees no other way to resolve things. He can be fairly quiet with new people but once he warms up to them he’s really talkative. If there’s one thing that he treasures most, it’s family and friends. He hates hurting them and would put them before him and his needs, making him selfless person. However, he can sometimes be brutally honest and aggressive when he’s angry, which isn’t often. His bad side is something you don’t want to get on.
↺Relationship: Evie hates Youngjae but she can’t help but have some fascination with him. There’s something about her compassion that she finds admiring and she won’t admit it but she finds him cute. Youngjae doesn’t like Evie either. He doesn’t understand how someone so pretty can be such a to put it simply. The main reason that Evie hates Youngjae is because he’s everything she wants to be – kind, caring, compassionate, helpful – and she envies him.

↺Personality: Sweet and innocent and all things associated with an angel. She’s like the perfect person – flawless. She has no tolerance to demons and is quick to judge them; she thinks that all demons are evil and destructive.
↺Relationship: Hate relationship. Sunhwa hates demons and Evie is a demon – simple as that. Evie dislikes Sunhwa because she always seems to be the person that intervenes with her “fun”. She likes to provoke the angel and finds it entertaining in doing so.
↺Why: Because of the close relationship she has with Youngjae. Though he only swears that they’re only friends, Sunhwa doesn’t see it like that. She mistakes his kindness as a flirtation and is mislead to think that he wants her to be his girlfriend but doesn’t know how to ask yet. Evie is jealous of their close relationship and Sunhwa doesn’t like that Evie is getting close to her crush.

♦ Evie helps Youngjae out with something. She threatens him to not tell anyone

♦ Evie meeting with her mom or dad. She’s not too happy with seeing them, or she doesn’t show it, but they’re ecstatic though they’re not too pleased to see what happened to their little girl. They tell her that’s not how they raised her and that they know she’s better than this. She gets angry and leaves. She finds that she can’t shake their words and knows that they’re right.
♦ Youngjae misunderstanding Evie and Hoya’s relationship and gets jealous, in which that’s when he realises he likes her
♦ Evie getting jealous Sunhwa’s close relationship with Youngjae and gets violent. Youngjae sees and attempts to stop her. She’s too stubborn and doesn’t listen but he eventually gets through to her and she stops what she’s doing and flees quickly.
♦ Evie and G.NA rebuilding their friendship
↺Ending: I would like it to be a happy ending but I’m also a er for emotional endings too (for some reason I like my sad endings even though they're painful lol). I would like it if Evie somehow found her humanity again and returned to her friendly, trusting self but maybe still keep some aspects of her demon personality like her sarcasm or something.
