Personality : Daeyoung is know for being the tomboyish member by a lot of people, and is often laughed at or teased when she act or says something sensitive or feminine.While she is not at all vain, she can become quite angry when someone insults her beauty.She has a soft spot for innocent mannered people, so she takes a near instant liking to the Vocalist,Visual,and Main Dancer.She has a sharp tongue and isn't afraid to speak her mind or insult people even if its to stranger.She acts very "unlady like" in terms of the ways she speaks and in certain things she does which always disappoint her members and manger.She is know in her group for also being the most alethic which you could not believe do to fact nobody ever seen her play any sports.She has an obsession with cats, especially kittens, though she tries to hide this and only reveals this to those she considers close to her.Often times she shows an incredibly childish, selfish, competitive side which nobody do not like no matter what.Daeyoung is bad with house work which is why her member give her the very easy task when they are cleaning the dorm.She acts energetic and confident, often teasing people in her view which is people try to dodge her.She can make anybody laugh with her jokes or when she is the only one laughing at her own jokes.She is very popular when it comes to varity shows since she can make anybody laugh with her jokes or some of her random dance/kkap dances.

Background : She is the first child and only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kang and the grandchild of Daeyoung's father's mother. Daeyoung's parents had met and fallen in love before Mr. Kang asked Mrs. Kang to marry him at her 19 birthday party.Daeyoung was doted on by her father for being his "Little knight" which made her mother mad since she wanted Daeyoung to be girly and nickname "Princess". The Kang's lived happily until tragedy struck when Mrs. Kang was killed in a car accident which left a six year old Daeyoung and her father, and Daeyoung's grandfather passed away, which left her grandmother alone. This caused Daeyoung's father to move his family to Kang Shrine, where they had made the home a pet store at the bottom.
