The dial tone rings, as she taps her fingers impaitiently, waiting for him to pick up. The dial-tone gets through, and smiling mischiveously, she waits for him to say 'Hello' before hanging up abruptly. Flicking her long hair behind her ears, she spun on her heels before walking purposefully towards his office.

She calls this her game, calling and waiting to see if he would pick-up-- all to gauge if he was busy or not. Normal people might have just as well snatched a few minutes of talking since the call was picked up, but Lee Chaerin wasn't exactly what you would call, normal.

Popping into the office, she smiles a little to see him in an all boss mode, balancing a thick file on his lap as he flicked through it, frowning here and there. Striding up, she places a lunchbox on the table to see his head pop up immediately, eyes blinking innocently behind those large glasses, acting oh-so-innocent. That sly fox.

"You do know that it's rude to frown to someone who didn't do anything wrong?" Her hand reaches out to smooth away some wrinkles that she swore appeared earlier, while he raised an eyebrow and retorted.

"Well, in the first place it's rude already to hang up!"

Five months later

Rain pours, one can barely make out an outline of a grave in the darkness. White lilies and roses are scattered over it, in a messy disarray. The petals of the flowers fly and lose themselves in the wind, as brown, fallen leaves sail in to take their place.

The dial tone rings on ominously, as she paces in the comfort of her own home from the thunderstorm outside. The dial-tone ends up busy, and she leaves a message.

"Aigoo, oppa, you're still at work? You should take care of your health, Jingyo~ and spare somet time for me! I'm going to sleep now, you sleep early too..."

Lightning flashes, and highlight a grave.

OMG, I'm having this third version in my head; where it was Chae's grave instead of his, where he's waiting for her to call her and annoyingly hang up on him but of course the call never comes, and he calls her back and complained how he always picked up her phone but she doesn't now when he does o.o

and I don't even love tragedies ;___;
