Because we're not of the same religion, PEACE OUT.

I don't know how long someone can be so selfish, and ditch someone who raised them as their own. It annoys the heck out of me, even if the parent and child are from different religions.

Yes, I do understand that maybe the child feels uncomfortable.

But hear me out.

When it's the child's religion doing parties and such, oh man, the ENTIRE family has to be there.

When the parent's religion is doing to cure the family, bring luck, and pray for great for fortune, the child chooses not to be a part of it.

I don't get it. I just don't understand. I'm furious, because I don't know how selfish a person can get.

I'm always ranting to my friends, telling them what's been going on at home.

A couple of friends replies back, "ahhh...that child is just growing, it's okay."

NO. IT'S NOT OKAY.

That kid may be growing up, but the kid knows nothing. I'm just so hurt by what is going on, and I wish I can do something to stop it. But how can I, when I'm just a family outsider?

Speaking of the religions, they're Christianity and Shamanism.

I'm not asking for the child to be converted, as no one wants to be converted into something they first grew up in as. but for the child to try and convert the parent?

Uhmm...NO. LOL. THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

It angers me that this is an important day, and the child seems to see their side much better and more fun.

Life isn't always about fun and games, once you get the gist of how the real world works around soon. ugh =_=

I don't know if anyone has ever countered this type of thing before, but I have, and it's been so many times.

Sorry for such a weird rant. I just needed to let everything out. I'm just tired. so damn fed up.
