The Good:

Chil Yeon is good at memorized things, and it  becomes her advantage in learning new skill or even remembering conversations. She's also a quick learner, and adapted easily. Her opend mind allowed her to see things from different perspective, and it makes her creative. Chil Yeon is such a loyal person. Once she said she will be there for someone, she will fulfill her promise  no matter what. If Chil Yeon said something, it must be the truth. She's tired with the lies from all people around her. That's why she's a honest person and no one could ever bring her honesty down. Even though she's having hard time in keeping her honesty, she tried very hard to maintain it. Some people mistaken her belief as stubborness and act of rebellion, but she managed to prove her faithfulness when she demolished Union's fort and killed groups of Union with her tactics and expertness in using knives.

Unfortunately, Chil Yeon wasn't born to be a knives expert, but as a strategist. She's good in making tactics and using her team abilities at the maximum level to achieve their goals. Her logic always be the first for her in making tactics. She's often using her enemies weaknesses to win battles. Chil Yeon had read Sun Tzu's art of war and learned a lot from it, so slowly but sure she developed her strategist thinking. But whenever she was choosen as the team leader, she never yelled or obtrude to her teammates. She always said, "I wonder if we could do it." and it was indirectly increase her teammates spirit to prove they can, even though some people said she was doubting her teammates abilities. Whether she was doubting her teammates abilities or not, her teammates knew that whenever they're in trouble, Chil Yeon never hesitates to sacrifice for their sake.

The Bad:

She doesn't believe in people very easily. She always doubt the first answer of someone and investigate it further, even though it's nothing important. However, because of her hesitation in believing someone, sometimes she managed to collect information of the enemy and also finding intruders or even spies from The Union. Chil Yeon often disrespect other people, except for herself. She thought, whether it's wrong or right, my opinions are always right. But just like the battlefield theory, your words could be used againts yourself, she decided to keep her opinions for herself.

The Ugly:

Chil Yeon is ruthless, not just in the battlefield, but sometimes in her everyday life. It was shown whenever she meet someone she hates and torturing them by making sure that they have a pitiful life. Even though she's kind on the outside, she hide so much hatred inside. She hate all the person who lied and said it's for the best, she hate all the person who make her family changed. Chil Yeon is also very violent. In battlefield, she was merciless and aim for thousand of deaths. But deep inside her heart, she knew that it was her revenge to The Union for her father.

There's a time when anger or hatred filled her, and she became spiteful and tricky than ever. Be careful with your thoughts, because when Chil Yeon is at the top of her emotions, she could predict your next move or even kill you without second thinking. But, nobody knew that her emotions is her biggest weakness. She could kill someone because of her emotions yet she also could save her own enemy because of her emotions. Her emotions like a boomerang for herself. She can't kill when she doesn't feel any anger or hatred. She also can't save a person when she's full with anger or hatred. If her enemies found out her main weakness, it will destroy herself because her emotions was easily influenced, especially when they involved her family's past.

She came from a science and technology district, and she was taught a lot about science and technology. But Chil Yeon only had little interest in such things. However, she tried very hard to study and get a good grades because she wants to make her parents proud so badly. Chil Yeon managed to won science competitions and ranked first in her school. Her intelligence and logic  also developed in here because she had to stand out from all the genius in Goran District. Because of her environment insisted everyone to produce a good inventions for the army, she inevitably had to do her best and tried not to give up.

How does her District contribute to her personality?:

Goran District is a busy district. Every people in this district tried very hard to serve their country through modern science and technology. Most of Goran residents aren't friendly and  Chil Yeon tried very hard to be friends with them. Even if they ignored her, Chil Yeon tried to be patient. The residents are always working hard, and it inspired Chil Yeon to do her best. Chil Yeon also confused with her neighbours habit, they're working hard to earn money only to wasting it for useless things. Fortunately, her parents taught her to using money wisely and give some of her money to the needing people.

The Backstory:

How was her childhood:

Chil Yeon had a pretty amazing childhood. She's close with both of her parents. She's lucky because she earned a lot of attention and love from her parents, while there's a lot of abandoned childrens out there. But, her relationship with her parents changed when she found out that her father hiding something unforgivable.

What happened in her life that lead her to this point:

Chil Yeon couldn't explain how much she loved both of her parents. She did everything she can to make them proud and smile, even it means she must struggling to study the subject she hates. Little did her parents know, Chil Yeon idolized them because they seems like a perfect couple made in heaven. So far, Chil Yeon haven't see them in fight or yelled at each other. They also had a perfect job matched with each other. Her father is the head professor of The Jaeseop University Hospital, while her mother is a doctor in the same place. They also matched with each other's personality. Her father is a tough man and strict, while her mother is  an independent woman  and caring. In front of their only daughter, her parents showed so much love and common sense. Chil Yeon always wonder whether she could be in a perfect marriage life like her parents had.

Compared with her mother, Chil Yeon was more closed with her father. They always spending time together every weekend. Chil Yeon always pick her father as her ultimate best friend and never want to be apart from him. She trusted him very much and she obeyed him because her father understands her a lot and always wants the best for her. Even though she loved her mother, Chil Yeon always acted indifferent towards her. Her mother also loved Chil Yeon very much but whenever she saw her daughter seems more comfortable with her husband, she decided to eschew herself from Chil Yeon. Little did her daughter and husband know, she doesn't want to be such a disturber for them. But whenever Chil Yeon scolded by her father, her mother always defended her.

However, the perfect marriage ended. Her mother  brought Chil Yeon with her and left her ex-husband alone. Chil Yeon refused at first, but she was forced by his mother. Chil Yeon cried and said that she wants to be with her dad, not with her mom. Even though her mother felt guilty about bringing her daughter away from her father, she had a good reason to do so. Her mother then explained that her father having affair with another woman since a long time ago, but her mother just found out about it recently. Even though her mother explained it to her with a fragility and hurt, she still couldn't believe her father cheated. Chil Yeon trusted her father very much and she believed her father wouldn't do such a thing.

Chil Yeon recklessly left her house and go to his father's place. She thought her father will welcome her with warmth, but she was wrong. Chil Yeon shocked when she realized that their old family house in the Goran District were empty. From her neighbour, she found out that her father left his position as the head professor of The Jaeseop University Hospital and decided to left Goran District. She tried not to think about the possibilities of her father marrying the woman of his affair. But why does his father left his position, which is the result of his hardwork for 20 years? And why does his father left the their old family house, which holds so many memories? For the first time of her life, Chil Yeon felt betrayed.

At that moment, the situation within The Imperial Army and The Union wasn't in peace. It's impossible for Chil Yeon to search her father, but she was fearless. She promised herself will commit a suicide if she couldn't find her father. She travelled to all of the elite districts and the borderline, yet she couldn't find any signs of her father. There's only one option for her if she wants to find her father, crossing the borderline and travel to the poor districts. She was full of ambition and didn't care whether she's sacrificing her life for the right thing or not.

She managed to escape when some people captured her because they thought she worked for the Imperial Army. She got into unwanted battles and beaten up until she was near death by some rebel. Fortunately, she met someone who helped and trusted her as a kind person, Himchan. He then decided to help her searching her father, under one condition. Chil Yeon must leave the poor districts immediately after she finds her father.

After 2 weeks of searching, they couldn't find him anywhere. Himchan tried to gain informations about Chil Yeon's father through one of his friends and the result shocked Chil Yeon. It turns that her father worked as the doctor for The Union. Chil Yeon thought his father loyal to their nation, remembering he was so proud when he discovered useful things for their nation. She's also found out that all of the medicines or items that was discovered by his father, it all goes to The Union rebels and not to serve their nation's army. But that's not the news that shocked Chil Yeon. She tried not to feel any burden when Himvan told her that her father passed away because of malaria. With such an unhealthy environments, it wasn't impossible for her father to died because of malaria. Himchan also told her that malaria was spreading all over the poor districts, but Chil Yeon didn't care. Her mind was busy asking questions. Why did her father go to the poor districts at the first place? Then, Chil Yeon realized that the one who could influenced her father is the woman he's having an affair with.

She asked Himchan whether her father married or not. Surprisingly, the answer was yes. She managed to meet her step mother, after begging Himchan for countless time. Little did Himchan knows, Chil Yeon purposefully asked him to meet her step mother. Chil Yeon blamed her step mother for making her father left Goran District and worked for The Union. If not because of  her step mother and The Union, her father wouldn't die. In that short amount of time, her hatred for both of them increased.

She offered herself to prepared the dinner with her step mother, while Himchan was watching television. Her step mother thought it was good way for getting closer with her step daughter. What she didn't know, Chil Yeon silently grabbed the knife from the kitchen drawer and hide it in her back. She  closed the gap between them while her step mother busy talking about their dishes. When her step mother looked away to find some tomatoes, Chil Yeon quickly stabbed her in the stomach.

Himchan rushed to the kitchen when he heard screaming. His eyes widened when he saw Chil Yeon's step mother lay helplessly on the ground. There was blood coming from her stomach. Himchan quickly helped her by closing her wound with towels, preventing her from keep bleeding. He called for Chil Yeon, yet there's no answer. Himchan censored the room and looking for Chil Yeon's presence, but she wasn't there.

Chil Yeon moved her feet faster and faster. She held the knife in her hands tightly. She kept running even though she heard someone's calling her name.

Any Extra Background Info: After Chil Yeon left, her step mother was already dead because of losing too much blood. Himchan decided to burried the body silently. He also didn't talk to any of his teammates about this and hide it for himself. 

How did she come to join the Union/Imperial Army:

After her return from the poor districts, she didn't came back to her mother's place. Chil Yeon decided to stay at her best friend, Ae Ri's place. She had no courage to see her mother reactions.

Chil Yeon told Ae Ri about her problems and her hatred for The Union because of her father. Ae Ri never knew that the kind Chil Yeon could be very wicked. Chil Yeon kept talking about her revenge for The Union, until she reached the point of obssesion. As her best friend, Ae Ri tried to help her and brought her to the psychiatrist. It brought little differences for Chil Yeon, but it didn't make her forget about her obssesion. The psychiatrist told Chil Yeon that her obssesion could be a good advantage for The Imperial Army and offered her a position in the army. At first, Chil Yeon was only a basic soldier, but as the time goes by she managed to prove her abilities and got a prestigious position.

What are her goals for her military career:

She wants to give The Union their payback for her father. Chil Yeon thought that her father sacrificed a lot for The Union, yet The Union didn't prevent him from malaria and let him die. Even though she felt betrayed by his father, she can't deny the fact that she still loves him very much.

When they grew up and had to face many problems, they always stick with each other. When Ae Ri let go her dream as an actress, Chil Yeon was the one who encouraged Ae Ri to continue chasing her dream, even though Ae Ri's family prevent her from doing it and forced her to be a scientist. People in Imperial are mostly like Chil Yeon, obsessed with something. Most of Imperial's elites are spoiled and self centered, but it doesn't apply for Ricky. He lived a simple life and tried not to depends on his family. Ricky is also the kindest person Chil Yeon has ever met. No matter how cold Chil Yeon attitude is, Ricky never ignored her and even offered to be a listener for Chil Yeon, because he knew that Chil Yeon has many problems. Ricky is such a people pleaser. He would do anything as people pleased. He has no heart and courage to do a revenge when other people misused his kindness, that's the reason why people often understimate him as a weak person. Ricky also believed other people and gets affected easily. Unlike Chil Yeon who is a quick learner and adapted easily, Ricky is bad a learning new things and he can't adapt easily. The Best Parts:

His eyes. No matter how many lies he uttered, his eyes always stay true and pure. Ricky's also has a contagious smile and laugh. Chil Yeon never fails to laugh because of hearing Ricky's laugh.

The Meeting:

Chil Yeon was training outdoor by herself. Even though the weather was gloomy and raining, she didn't bother about it. She was too focused on throwing knife to the target board and didn't even once thought that rain could damage her health.

"." she muttered when her knife dashed out of the circle target. It was her 100th time of trying, yet she always dashed out of the circle target.

Chil Yeon took a deep breath. She grabbed another knife and tried to focusing her eyes on the circle target. Her effort was useless because when she threw the knife, it dashed out of the circle target again. No matter how many times she tried, she always failed. Chil Yeon ruffled her hair and scream in frustation. She started to squat under the rain. People said it was hard for the first time, but she never thought it will be this hard.

Chil Yeon thought whether she should giving up her dream as a knife expert and try to learn other skill, or not. She felt the tears fell down on her cheeks. If she give up, then she would never be able to fight the Union Army one-on-one and get her revenge. The rain started to getting hard and Chil Yeon didn't move an inch from her place, even though she got headache. Suddenly, she felt her head sheltered from the raindrops. Slowly, she raised her head and saw two warm eyes staring at her. He was sheltering Chil Yeon with a black umbrella.

"It was enough for today, don't pull yourself too much. You should've rest and try again tomorrow." he said calmly. Chil Yeon stared at him blankly. He then squated next to her and smiled.

"My name's Changhyun. You can call me Ricky, for short." Ricky said. "It's raining and you looked very pale. Do you mind if I accompany you home? Moreover, you didn't bring an umbrella." he continued and and stood up. Chil Yeon didn't reply to him.

Ricky offered her his hand and gave her an assuring smile. "It's okay, I'm not a bad guy." he explained.

Chil Yeon stared at his hand and looked back at him. Is it only her imagination or is it true that her heart beats faster because of his smile?

She hesitated at first, but then she reached Ricky's hand. It was Chil Yeon's first time to trust people very easily. Normally, she wouldn't go with stranger. But, that day was an exception for her.

Chil Yeon often to acts indifferent towards Ricky because she doesn't want him to know her true feelings. In the army, Ricky is the only one who bears with Chil Yeon's attitude. Ricky noticed the hurtful glance of her. He knew that Chil Yeon is burdened, and he patiently waiting for the time when Chil Yeon's finally open herself to him. As the time goes by, Ricky be able to know Chil Yeon's secret and promised himself to do whatever it takes to make her smile.

How does it happen: 

Actually, Chil Yeon already developed her feelings for Ricky since the very first time they met. But Chil Yeon started to realize that she's fall in love with him when she teached Ricky to defend himself. Chil Yeon can't stand with people misused Ricky's kindness and she decided to teach Ricky to stand up for himself and not being too kind. When Chil Yeon got to know Ricky better, she found out that Ricky is not fake as other people labelled him because of his job. Chil Yeon's anger rose when she found out that some of Ricky's teammates actually bullied him because he's too soft for a man. She recklessly went to his team's place and berated his teammates. The Good Parts:

Himchan has a special ability to communicates with other people. His bright personality never fails to lighten the mood around him. Himchan always thinks positive and has a big heart. Even though he failed to entered The Imperial Army, he never once doubts his capability. He believed that win or lose doesn't matter, what matter the most is your effort. For girls, Himchan is their ideal type of a guy. He has everything a girl had dreamt of; handsome face, pleasant personality, and intelligence. But the truth is, he has more than that. He is a very determined to do the best, not only for himself, but for those around him. The words of giving up never exist in his dictionary. But even though he cares and want the best for the people around him, it doesn't make him a people pleaser. Himchan is the best listener and adviser ever. He knew how to boost people's feeling with his words or to shut up. His advises always work and his teammates usually come to him if they want to vent their feelings and thoughts.

The Bad Parts:

Himchan has a bad temper and close-minded. Once he sticks with his principle, he wouldn't change it. He is very stubborn when he already make his own decision. If there's someone who dare not to approves his decision, he will start arguing and even fight with them. Himchan is very sensitive when it comes to his personal feelings, so he rarely talks about himself and listening to other people's personal feelings instead. He is also very forgetful, and that's why he never blurted a secret, because he forgot most of them.

The Best Parts: His pleasant personality. If not because of his caring personality, he would never helped Chil Yeon to find his father.  

The Meeting:

Himchan was fixing his computer in his room when he saw a girl was beaten up outside his window. The girl wore a fancy outfit, and he didn't wonder why she was beaten up by some rebel. It was clear that she is one of the rich girl from the elite districts. What is an elite doing in poor districts anyway? Usually, elites will visit the Gyura District, not the Golla district which is the most temperamental district. Himchan decided to come to her when he saw her fell on the ground but didn't fight back. Shouldn't elites brought bodyguards with them to protect them from this harm and poor people? Himchan sniffed at his thoughts. 

He take a deep look at Chil Yeon before moved closer towards her. Before he asked if she's alright or not, Chil Yeon stood up with limp legs. She turned around and saw Himchan was staring at her with cautious expression. He was checking whether she's one of the Imperial or just an elite. Though she's wounded, it doesn't mean she has no intentions to destroy the Union. But then Chil Yeon's next words surpirsed him.

"You can kill me if you want to. You hate the Imperial and elites, right? I have no reason to live, anyway." she said and gritted her teeth, trying very hard to bear with the wounds all over her body. Her words moved his heart. He wants to save her. It doesn't matter if she's the Imperial Army or not. 

"I..." before Himchan could continued his sentences, Chil Yeon collapsed. Blood was streaming down on her temple as she lost her consciousness. Himchan quickly ran towards her and captured her before she fell on the ground.

"Ya! Are you okay?" he asked with a worried expression, but unfortunately he got no response from her. Himchan carried her into his house and called Youngjae for help. He saw Chil Yeon was wounded very bad, and it seemed that her head was hit by something hard. He cursed the rebels who caused her wounded like this. Even though those rebels were on the same team as him, don't they went to far? 

Himchan grabbed a wet towel and clean the blood from her face. "Hold on, okay?" he muttered. 

As it stands:

Chil Yeon didn't know that Himchan works for the Union, so did Himchan. When they're together, they both act like a normal friends. Sometimes there's awkward moments between them, because Chil Yeon always respond flaltly to Himchan's jokes. Himchan often intimidated by Chil Yeon beause of her cold looks. Himchan also obeyed Chil Yeon, even for little things like when Chil Yeon asked him to eat sweet candies. Even though he hates it, he still obeyed her because she scared of her. Himchan always try very hard to make a good impression in front of Chil Yeon because he wants to be likeable in front of her. He is well-known for his pranks on his team, but in front of Chil Yeon, he didn't dare to do anything. His teammates think that Chil Yeon is sort of a miracle to be able to make Himchan quiet for a long time, because normally he's hyperactive. Though, they act normal, Chil Yeon knew that she owed Himchan for saving her life. She make sure that she will pay it back to him.

How does it happen:

It was when they met again for the 2th time. After he thought he will never see her again, he met her. He knew he should feel some hatred for Chil Yeon because she killed someone, but he didn't feel any hatred at all. He felt happy and releaved when he accidentally saw her talking to an old lady in Golla District. The next time he met her, Chil Yeon brought a guy with her. Himchan recognized him because that guy used to help in the poor districts. Even though his teammates suspected him as Imperial's spy, Himchan knew he's a good guy because he always be able to make Chil Yeon smiles and laughs. Seeing Chil Yeon happy with other guy, makes Himchan felt something he never ever experienced before, jealously. He was jealous of him and Chil Yeon being together. That was the moment when he realized that he didn't hate her, but loves her.

The Others: 

C.A.P: Secretly, Chil Yeon is jealous of his abilities and strictness. Chil Yeon is cold, but not strict. She idolized him for being a perfect leader. Once, she　asked him how to be charismatic and earned laughter from him. Because of her stupid question, CAP started to call her 'chipab' which is the shortness of Chil Yeon pabo. 

Chunji: At first, they both were very awkward around each other. But thanks to Ricky who purposefully left them in a restaurant, they was forced to get to know each other. It turns that they both have a lot in common. They both admired Sun Tzu's theories and they liked to used enemy's weaknesses in making tactics. But, their conversation will stick about Sun Tzu and discussing tactics to win battles and never stray from that. Chunji often to force Chil Yeon to buy him a dinner, and if Chil Yeon couldn't get away from him, she has no choice but to say yes. 

L.Joe: Chil Yeon carefully keep her distance from L.Joe because everytime she remembers L.Joe's background it will reminds him of his father who lived in the same district where L.Joe came from. Though, they both act ike a total stranger, they didn't even bother about it. They talked once about the weather, and that's it. They both never once tried to build a conversation together or even say hi to each other. 

Niel: He's playful and cheerful. Niel likes to talk about anything, from meals to economy, and he never mind if Chil Yeon didn't respond to his thoughts. Chil Yeon also liked the way Niel never overthinked about any problems. 

Changjo: He is Chil Yeon's ideal type of little brother. She loved the way he looked down when his hyungs . Chil Yeon also charmed of how enthusiastic he is with his job. Whenever Changjo was bullied by his hyungs, Chil Yeon will be the one who defends him. She sometimes treated Changjo like a little kid and brought him a lollipop whenever she visits him. 

Iseul: Everytime they meet, they always arguing with each other. Even though, they rarely had their peaceful moments, Chil Yeon always come to her whenever she needs help for plans in the battlefield. Iseul also the one who teached her how to use the knives for the first time. 

Yong Guk: It is weird for Chil Yeon to see Yong Guk go crazy with his teammates, but she always enjoy his silliness and once even join him doing stupid things.

Daehyun: Chil Yeon noticed that Daehyun often to zoomed out in a conversation. Just by seeing him, she knew he has a a lot of problens. But Chil Yeon didn't has the talent of coversing very easily, so she didn't know when or how to talked to him. She also noticed how uncomfortable Daehyun is around her. When Daehyun first found out that Chil Yeon came from the elite district, he acted indifferent towards her and overlooked her. Up until now, he still didn't like Chil Yeon because of her rich background and tried to stay away from her. He didn't know why Himchan adores Chil Yeon very much.

Youngjae: He is the only one who could intimidating Chil Yeon with his deathly glare and powerful words. Chil Yeon secretly didn't like his him because of his bossy personality. But she once saw how caring he is when his teammates need him and knew that Youngjae indeed is a nice guy.

Jong Up: He is the sweetest guy Chil Yeon had ever meet. Jongup always treat everyone with his friendliness. He always try very hard to cheer people around him. Chil Yeon often saw Himchan and Jong Up team up together to ligten the mood with their craziness and jokes. 

Zelo: Chil Yeon is close with Zelo because she likes how optimistic he is. It is rare to find someone so optimistic about everything. Chil Yeon never annoyed whenever Zelo tries to prank her. Because of Zelo pranks are noticable, it doesn't take time for Chil Yeon to run away from Zelo's traps.

Likes:

one: Sun Tzu's books and theories

two: She's addicted to knife and blood. It's a dreadful habit, but she collected many knifes and even brought them to sleep. She's also keep the blood of her victims and put it on a glass. Whenever she  saw the blood of her victims, it makes her satisfied with herself.

three: Her favorite food is potato. She always brought potatoes everywhere and eat it wherever. Once, her hands turn yellow because she's eating too much potatoes.

Dislikes:

one: Bossy people who think they're powerful

two: The smell of cigarette smoke. If she inhales it, she will throw up immediately.

three: Aegyos. When her teammates using their aegyos to her, she always hit their heads with her index finger and told them to stop it.

Fears:

one: She fears of mirror (spectrophobia). She can't stand watch her reflection on the mirror. Some people told her that her eyes and her lips looked like her father's. She's terrified that when she's looking at herself, it would remind her of her father. She always annoyed when people keep telling her that she has a beautiful eyes.

two:  Falling in love. She saw for herself how the perfect marriage of her parents ended and how her father betrayed them. She's afraid that the same thing happened to her relationship. She closed her heart and stayed away from guys, but unfortunately it couldn't prevent herself from falling in love.

Weaknesses:

one: Her emotions. It's her boomerang in battlefield. It could kill her if she doesn't aware.

two: She may be good at attacking people, but she's weak in defense.

The Outcome:  Die. I feel like such a mean person to kill my own character, but I think it's the best for her. Perhaps, she was shot in a battle because she was trying to save Himchan and fulfill her debt to Himchan who saved her life once. Even though she really wants to say, "I love you." to Ricky, her pride didn't allow her to say so. Before she ran and got shot for saving Himchan, Chil Yeon finally managed to said, "I love you, and I'm sorry." to Ricky.

The Quote:  When she lost in an agrument, she always said, "You know, I don't really care."and threw them her cold glare. Her other favorite word is, "Shut the up!" she said it whenever she's annoyed by someone.
