Personality: Courtesan, hooker, e, ; it's all semantics to Genevieve. For a pre-determined price, she'll make all your dreams come true, but if you cross her, she'll administer her own brand of justice. She makes this painstakingly clear to all her clients that she is a girl not to be messed with.

She understands the role she plays as a courtesan and understands how society views her., but she doesn't give a damn. People can say what they want, think what they want, call her what they want. She'll state it as if you've just asked her what she's had for breakfast. She's a , get over it. She's not doing it cos her parents owed someone a huge debt, or she needed to feed her family. She does it because she like the power and the money and whenever someone sees fit to make a comment on her choice of lifestyle, she immediately gives them a piece of her mind. Showing weakness makes her seem vunerable, and people take advantage of the vunerable.

Genevieve likes to believe that she is a classy girl and is determined to only take on high class clients. Although she only completed a primary education, Genevieve is uses her street smarts and knowledge she has accumulated through constant reading to prove that she is intelligent and that not all courtesans are only useful for their body. Her way with words also helps, refering to herself as a 'female Shakespeare', to prove that she is indeed clever. She refuses to give anyone the time of day if they indicate even slightly that they think she is stupid.

Genevieve uses her exotic beauty, personality and physique to her advantage. With her piercing eyes she selects her target, letting them believe that they have chosen her and that she is under her control. After years of practice, she finds she no longer has to try to fit the role men want, she simply is. Although she finds flattery to be useful in her line of work, men come to her to have the night of their lives, not a flirtation between school children.

Her naturally sarcastic nature makes her intriguing to her friends and clients as does her clever banter and witty retorts as it shows her personality from behind the mask.

Genevieve is loving, but she does not believe she is capable of being in love with someone, especially considering her career choice. After seeing the way her father was after her mother died, she didn't think she'd be able to feel that emotion and go through the same thing as he did. Luckily, she finds it easy to compartmentalise her feelings for her clients, and her real friends. 

Genevieve has a devil may care attitude. She sees no point in wasting her time working in a shop and being miserable like her father instead of living her life to its potential. 

 

Background: Genevieve was born to Cedric and Haseya BeDou. Her mother managed a sewing shop which had a good reputation due to her mother's skill, while her father worked as a blacksmith. It was the only time that Genevieve could remember her father being happy and smiling.

Her mother died giving birth to her brother Jasper. Health care wasn't that good back then, what can I say? She took up a job as a seamstress to help her father after finishing primary education, although she had the brains to go further. She was resentful towards her father for not letting her continue her education, although she understood the could not afford to educate her more.

One night when she was 17, she snuck out of her family home to go to a party in a dress she had made herself. Her father had kept tight control over her life so she was unprepared for the scandalous acts of the elite during night. She spent the night being wooed by a man ten years her senior. When the night was over, he gave her money to get home. On arrival, Genevieve discovered that he had been given money for her company and ual favours. She also realised she liked the power she'd had over the man and wanted to feel it again.

From then on, she decided to start seeing clients. She eventually had a feud with her father who had discovered her sneaking out at night, although he did not comprehend what she was going out to do. She has not spoken to him since, but she remains in constant contact with her brother who is first and foremost, a trouble maker.

Genevieve works under the alias 'Eve' as she believes she was the first woman to provide the first class services to the gentlemen of Brizo. She frequents the Noir Circus with a percentage of her fee going to the owner.

Some of her clients include those on the inner circle, and for a very high price, she can provide crucial, damaging evidence to the highest bidder. Some clients like to talk, she likes to listen. And whoever would believe a man who claimed a courtesan outsed his greatest secrets...

→ Personality: While Daesung performs the task of being a bouncer at the Noir Circus, he portrays a man who is the strong and silent type, but it's all just an act to protect the girls from unruly customers. The real Daesung is a charming, sweet guy who places strong value on the relationships he has with his friends and family. Outside of work, he is a naturally smily person. He's an intellegent guy who could be working somewhere elite, yet being the gentleman he is, he remains at the Noir Circus, never unleashing his full potential, as he believes that if he leaves, the women will be taken advantage of.
→ Relationship:  No-one can deny that Genevieve and Daesung would be perfect for each other. The moment they're in each others company, they're flirting until the cows come home, yet neither have made a move. Maybe it's because they think they'd make a terrible couple, or maybe it's because they know they'd make the perfect couple. They share a generous amount of skinship but have never actually kissed. 

They first met at the Noir Circus where Daesung intervened when Genevieve mistook a man for a client she had arranged to meet at the Noir Circus and he attempted to rough her up. Daesung stepped in, sending the drunkard away and whisked Genevieve away. When asked about how she feels towards Daesung she simply replies that she 'loves his voice' and he replies that he 'loves her eyes'

→ Personality: He's suave and he uses that to his advantage. As a sweet talker, he's usually able to get what he wants using just his words, but Genevieve demands payment. He also uses his good looks to his advantage. Although he has the appearance of a bit of a jack the lad, even if he does have money, he is very goal orientated, determined on getting information and utilising it to its full potential. His goal orientated mindset can make him seem quite selfish as he frequently cuts off people who could be of use to him, without so much as an au revoir.
→ Relationship: Kikwang is the highest bidder. Coming to Genevieve with a large sum, he is her most frequent client for information, although he has hinted cheekily that he looks forward to her other services. He's suave; it's a constant battle of the wits between these two to gain the upper hand.
