I'm not much of a blogger, though I should really rant here than on my stories, so this is new.

I just noticed that today marks my 2nd year on AFF. Although it might not seem like a long time for others, this is quite a milestone for me. I remember the first time I posted a chapter on AFF.

It was nerve wracking.

Seriously.

An introvert who didn't take criticism well decided to post her work on a public site for all to see. *shootme*

Seriously though, I'm surprised I stayed around for this long. I guess it's because I grew to love writing more and learned so many things from reader responses. The criticism and advice given didn't discourage me, but motivated me to create better prose.

I know I'm not that well known as an author, and I don't mind. I would rather be an unknown and enjoy the stories and characters I create, than produce generic plots and Mary Sue characters.

This doesn't mean that I won't throw out a cliche story once in a while. Sometimes, an author needs to let out those fluffy feels, y'know?

Nobody is going to read this, I'm quite sure, but it's okay. I'm just glad I haven't give up on this account and stuck around.
