Give Me some Tips please? T.T

Hello guys! Annyeong, people!!!! Keke>< Hi, hellllooooo!

Yesterday............ My female cousin who is 6 years younger than me..... After influencing her for every week, she's finally and officially a kpopper! Yesh! Jackpot baby! Yessssssssss! I win! I win! I made it! *pats my own head* Yeah!

For now, she's into BIGBANG, Suju, 2NE1 and SHINee... She's still learning BAP and EXO>< Well, it's hard to learn everyone in a month or two so, it's okay... She can take all the time she needs^____^ I'm here to help!!! Keke...

But then, I introduced her to something new again. It's FANFICTION! She looks interested and excited about it, so, I'm like super happy because of it! It feels good when someone else likes it beside you:D I feel proud for some reason... Through writing, I had overcome a lot of difficult periods in my life. I hope that I introduced her to writing, she would be able to overcome any obstacles that's coming her way in the future:) I mean it...

Okay... I sounded serious so suddenly=.=' please excuse me *clears throat*

So... Ummm, she and I kind of started to like write out a few ideas and she suggested that we do horror... At first, I was like, "Horror?" No!

It's a genre I had never went for=.= Seriously, I'm not good at it:( But since she wanted to try and it's her first time writing, I decided to just go with it in order to support her... Maybe this is my chance to try a new genre right? Yeah... But, I don't watch horror movies cuz they creep me out like =.= 

Any of you have any experience writing horror? But not too horror-ish... It's more like light-horror thingy... Not too scary but not too not scary? Aish... I dunno what I'm talking about><" Help?

She was giving me ideas and we talked for almost 3 hours... Gotta admit, she was hyped up about it but when night approached she got scared=.= Then in a trembled voice she said, "Unnie, can you finish it for me? I'm scared." Huh? Me? Alone? But, I'm scared T.T But... I told her, "Alright, I'll finish it for you." What have I gotten myself into?

It was just like a draft, so, I dunno when it's gonna finish and maybe I'll post it up here=.= I dunno dude... Aigoo~ For now, I just gotta go and write my current on-going stories, "Who the hell is she?!" and "y, Kidnapped and Hitched" Gotta post up new chapter soon><' Wait up my loyal readers! Hihi... I'll end it here today okay? Bye-bye and please... I need some tips about the horror genre thingT.T

When doing horror, suspense gets built up by using commas. Like this, a prologue to a horror-comedy story my sister and I wrote, "As he breathed down my neck, I could feel his warm breath condensing onto the little hairs that stood up. I sat there patiently, not wanting to move - not that I could anyway. I was tied up to a chair, a knife waiting to slice open my neck."
Basically you have to describe every little things, "I could smell... Feeling the... The unmistakeable taste... The sound of..." etc.
Um... Horror doesn't necessarily mean death. It's basically the 'unknown'. What creeps most people out - me included, is not death itself, but because no one knows anything about it. If you take a concept like, "What is in this box?", you can twist it to become horror. "It shook as I took a step nearer. 'What was in this box?' I had always wondered, well now I was going to find out. With shaky hands I reached out and undid the flaps. I took in a sharp breath. 'Oh no.' I let out a blood-curling scream as I stumbled back trying to get away from the box. Out of instinct, I ran into the first room. Bad mistake. I was trapped. I heard it's loud footsteps resonate in the empty house. There was no one to help, no where to escape. I held my breath. It was coming closer, I knew. It was close, I knew. It could find me, I knew. And it was coming for me." 'It' was never actually mention. You could describe it though like, "It came towards my hiding hole and locked eyes with me. The terrifying golden eyes that pierced through my soul. 'I'm dead...'"
I find it is always scarier to write in first person because it always the readers to feel it is happening to them. I don't really need an example for this one do I?
Supernatural is a good genre that works with horror, but since it's mild I suggest a comedy. "It stepped closer. And barked. 'Go away,' I yelled. The dog didn't listen and continued to stare at me with it's golden eyes."

Not sure what kind of horror you're going for..
but my advice for supernatural kind of horror, is that; Add in all the descriptions and feelings you can think of. It seriously scares the ____ out of me whenever i read something like "She jump back in surprise as the classroom door screech loudly with just a little light push to it. All she wants to do right now at the moment, is make a run for it but she knows it's already too late. Taking all the last bits of bravery, she steps into the dim room, the only source of light coming in through the old shattered window. The room has a eerily cold feeling even though it is in mid-Summer. Goosebumps travel up her body as she feels herself shiver slightly. She know someone is here but she can't see who. A chill travel up her right hand and immediately she confirm her theory. Someone/Something's here." Okay, stopping here. I'm freaking myself out.

Thriller kind of horror; Start with a simple plot with a murderer and a victim, their relation and people associated with them. Then add in the number of events in between them, to how long you want your story to be. The point is, NEVER directly throw a obvious hint of who the murderer is. You make evidence point at other people but hinting the murder in the mids of it.

Not a fan of horror but make it a love story horror that would be nice like a guy falls for a ghost which is the girl and than the ghost king said that if she falls for him she will die again and not even be a ghost and she will die in 50 days or something like that....

I have some experience in writing in he horror genre. I wrote part of my English assessments in that genre, my grade was an A so I think I can help you. I am currently working on the plans for two fanfics, you can look at the forewords for them if you like, it might help you to come up with some ideas.
One of them is called The One That Follows, it's about a ghost that falls in love. I also have one about vampires called Black Hearted.
Because its your first time writing in the horror genre I suggest that you do something easy like vampires. There are loads of possible story lines and it can be really fun to write.

I'm not a fan of horror too, but my friends force me against my will to watch it!
Well um... Usually horrors come from the unpected. Like in movies, things pops up in the screen /whichscaresthesh!toutofme/ you could do that in the fic!
And to make it not too horror-y, um... Maybe through in some comedy! Gotta love comedy! Lol I at giving adivce!! GOOD LUCK!!
