This makes me cry every time I see news about EXO getting injured. I may not be an EXOtic but i’m enough of a fan/supporter and a kpop lover to know that fans these days are getting out of hand. Yes, we understand that it’s important to see our favourite idols in the flesh but they need to understand that in the process, our idols are getting hurt - and no fan, I’m sure of it, wants to see our idols in pain(whether EXO or not), this isn’t right.

I know these boys love their fans and this is why they’re doing all these performances(aside from being forced to by their company). They just keep performing, even if they’re on the brink of collapsing because they  want to make their fans happy.

I know that even though Chanyeol keeps being happy and smiling all the time, he’s exhausted but he keeps on smiling - for the fans. 
I know that, Kai keeps pushing himself to be the best dancer, to keep performing, but truly he’s seriously injured and has to perform with medicine patches - for the fans.
I know that Lay, kept practising, kept rehearsing the dances with his waist injury - for the fans. 
I know that Chen is working really hard to learn Chinese and sometimes has almost no fan gifts while the other members carry so much when at the airport, but he doesn’t say anything - for the fans. 
I know that Baekhyun kept performing even though he had an eye injury. - for the fans. 
I know that Lu Han is tolerating all the pushing and shoving coming from fans, he’s been pushed and even fell, but he keeps saying that “It’s fine” or “It’s okay” when it really is not - for the fans. 
I know that Kris bought a luggage(with his own money :P) to store all his gifts from the fans - for the fans.
I know Suho keeps performing, despite being injured - for the fans. 
I know Tao had a terrible injury during their showcase, but kept on performing, even though he was terribly injured - for the fans. 
I know D.O has to be sprawled on the floor to receive fan gifts - for the fans.
I know Xiumin keeps performing even though he had leg injuries - for the fans. 
And I know that Sehun seems tired of doing aegyo but he keeps doing it, and he writes Chinese in the airport - for the fans.

I understand that, as fans, we have the job to support our idols, where ever they go but also as fans and human beings, we have to understand that our idols are normal human beings too. Even though they appear on television and the radio, with seemingly glamorous lives, we have to understand that they worked hard for their dreams to come true and before they were celebrities, they were normal people too, and in fact, they still are!

So, please, as fans, respect their privacy and don’t go trespassing where we do not need to trespass(ex. their hotel rooms, dorms, etc.), it’s only giving us fans a bad name and maybe if this continues, we won’t even get to see our favourite idols in real life, which is truly a saddening thing. I hope that seeing Jong In truly in pain and the other members in shock and their manager in anger opens fans’ eyes to see that our idols are suffering from the things that we are doing and it isn’t right! Please, we also have the duty as fans to respect our idols and give them some space when they are walking anywhere, like the airport or just on the street. Please think about what their going through the next time you see them in person, they give so much to us fans, I think we can repay them by giving them some space and air to breathe. Thank you.
