» The capital F. Mi Ok has always had a strong personality, even when she was a child she stood out of the crowd because of her peculiar character. Being always so blunt and direct, she speaks out her thoughts without caring about the consequences. It's not that she talks instinctively, but more that she considers a MUST saying always the truth and she cannot let not the other know what she thinks. That is one of the reasons why, she has never had so many friends. Of course, she attratcs almost everyone because of her interesting behaviour, but the ones who she can call "Friends" with the capital F are only a few. That's because her bluntness can easily cause people to take the distances from her, not wanting to hear her thoughts on every situation and not wanting to hear the truth. Even though she has only a few real friends by her side because of her sharp tongue, she attracts a lot of people because of her modus operandi. » Do you know 'bout me? Who is Nam Mi Ok? If you asked something to the students of the campus she attends, they would reply: "probably one of the prettiest girl out there." Of course, there are other beautiful girls throughout the campus and many other amazing ones outside the campus, but what really catches other people attention and interest is Mi Ok's appereance. She always distinguished herself for her eccentricity. And that's probably one of the reasons why she doesn't have anti-fans in the campus. She is one of the ulzzangs of the school and because of this she has a stable fanclub - most of the members are boys -. However usually pretty girls are seen in a badly way by the other girls since they reach all of the attention of the boys, but this isn't Mi Ok's case. » You're my true, true friend. What could be other people's impression about Mi Ok? Of course, a fashionable pretty girl, maybe a little too much spoiled and self-centered. That's probably in part the truth. But there's only a person who knows her really well. Her best friend since childhood days, Lee Min Ho. Have you ever heard this name? No, we aren't talking about F4's Lee Min Ho, but about the '93 actor who guest-starred alongside Park Yoo Chun and Jung Suk Won in the famous SBS's drama "Rooftop Prince". Mi Ok and Minho have the same age and they both grew up in the same neighbourhood, their parents are co-workers and so they've always been together as two siblings. They've always been mistakened as sibligns when they were children and now they're always mistaken as lovers. However they don't care about what other people think about them and continue to live as they've always done, leaning and depending on each other for everything. Mi Ok wanted to go to Sungkyunkwan university and he followed without hesitation, he wanted to study Acting and Mi Ok followed him... They're together 24/7 and nothing separates them. Probably only Min Ho knows Mi Ok's true self. Of course, she can be self-centered at times, but not selfish, she cares about others but she is too proud to lend a hand of help. Sometimes she gets angry, or sad but she covers it by changing hair colour, doing shopping, something that makes her forget about it, and she does not cry, never. Why? Because she doesn't want to seem weak to other people, and she hates herself when tears start to well up in her eyes, even her parents don't probably remember the last time she cried. But, probably, if she cried, Min Ho would have been the only person to know about it.

» My other half. How does Mi Ok act with the person she loves? Well, she can be a little obnoxious and possessive, and she has a strong character so she doesn't fear to overcome other possible suitors of her love interest. However she still knows what means justice, so she won't ever try with low means to surpass another girl. She is type to completely lose her mind when falling in love but still knows how to cover it really well, and she won't NEVER EVER admit tha she is in love. However sometimes she convinces herself of something inexistent. In fact, she has always liked Min Ho's elder brother, and she claims to be his girlfriend but the situation isn't really like that. Lee Min Joon, Min Ho's brother, is Mi Ok's ideal type of man. He is tall, with an high self-esteem, whatever decision he takes and whatever is the situation he always manage to act calmly and to remain cool. He is really masculine and he doesn't do aegyo which Mi Ok really hates, be it done by women or men, it still gets on her nerves. However if Mi Ok's continues on that root, she will probably be heart broken sooner or later, and Min Ho who knows about it, tries in every way to warn her. But what can you do ? It is natural that when you're love you won't hear any advice given by your friends and you'll always follow your heart. | be descriptive!

 » Nam Family. Mi Ok's family seems cold from the outside, but it isn't really like this. The problem lies in the fact that both Mi Ok's father and mother, alongside their daughter, don't know how to express their feelings, but that doesn't mean that they don't care about her daughter. Suk Hee, Mi Ok's mom, has always wanted her daughter to follow on her own steps, so when Mi Ok suddenly talked about auditioning to become an idol, she supported her right away. With her dad the situation is different: he doesn't really know a lot about her. In fact, because of his job he usually isn't at home and even if sometimes he is at home, he's always in his office. Whenever he talks with his daughter, the conversation gets more and more awkward; however her dad wants to be more present for her, but because of his work he can't. So he also cares a lot about her.

» You're just my biggest fan. Mi Ok's fanservice is also really particular. She won't ever do aegyo and throw hearts at fans. Even though she lives in her own wonderland, she doesn't give anything for granted. She knows that if she is able to stand on the stage, it is also thanks to the fans and their support. On stage, as in her real life, she does what she wants: she could suddenly decide to walk down the stage and sing while walking through the crowd of fans. Mother | Bang Suk Hee | 52, September 25 1960| actress | she is a good mother, maybe she doesn't express her love for her daughter too much, but she still loves and cherishes her. She usually expresses her affection towards Mi Ok, by accompaning her to do shopping and taking Mi Ok with her at fashion shows, but still she cares about her and when Mi Ok, said that she wanted to become an idol, she immediately approved of her daughter's decision.

Father | Nam Seung Sung | 57, April 4 1958 | lawyer | he is also a tad bit cold, and he doesn't know how to express his feelings and emotions, and Mi Ok probably took this trait from him. He suffers because he is always at work, or out of the country and he sees Mi Ok, a few times. He would like to be more present for her daughter but he doesn't find the time to.

Family background:

Nam Mi Ok, daughter of Bang Suk Hee, better known with her stage name Na Young Hee, one of the most famous actresses in South Korea, and Nam Seung Sung, a famous lawyer. Even though her birthplace is the ancient and peaceful - and expensive - village of Bukcheon, she has lived in China for 8 years. In fact, Mi Ok's father and Min Ho's father are lawyers for the same company and they've alwyas been really famous to the court because they've always been winning their causes. In 1997, when Mi Ok and Min Ho were only 4 years old, their fathers started to work together on the same case and they both transferred in China, because their client was Chinese and he had been involved in the failure of a famous Chinese factory, in Xigang. So the two family both moved to Xigang, a city in the region of Hebei on the oriental coast of China. Only Mi Ok's mother did back and forth from Korea to China, since she was already a famous actress back then and because of her schedule she couldn't live steadily in Xigang.

After 8 years, when Mi Ok and Min Ho were 12 years old, their families decided to move to Seoul, where Min Ho's family had a large estate in which the two families had decided to move together. Back in Seoul, Mi Ok and Minho both had problems with readjusting to Korean language, and society and so on their first years in Seoul they couldn't make a lot of friends. Mi Ok had already her strong personality in this period, but didn't care about fashion and following the latest trend so she still hadn't that "eccentric" figure she has now. But then, after she went with her mother to the 2007 MBC Drama Awards, and she dressed up like a princess for the red carpet, she started to like the feel she experienced when she had a beautiful dress and make up on. It seemed like changing and transforming into someone else, and she liked a lot that feeling.

Probably, having a famous Korean actress as a mother, and a best friend who talked about his dream of becoming an actor every second, had a great influence on her and she soon started to think about studying acting. However, there were other two passions which she really had got interested into: singing and dancing. Everything started when an afternoon in 2000, she was at home, in her Xigang villa, watching television. She didn't like watching television even when she was a child, but that afternoon, Min Ho was at the hospital because he had broken his arm after falling on the street while playing with her. So, she was extremely bored, and she decided to search some cartoons. However she stopped on a music channel, where they aired other countries MVs and the moment after BoA's ID: Peace B started, she totally fell in love with her, the outfit, the music, her dance skills and her vocal skills. Her obsession for music started back then, when she was only 7 years old and since then she always took part in school's recitals, she went to vocal lessons and dance lessons. Her parents left her be, since they wanted her to be happy and if it was one of the means to make her happy then why not?

Since 2007, after her appereance at the awards she also got casted as a model for various brands and magazines, but only in 2009 she signed a full contract with ELLE Girl, becoming an official model for it. The contract was signed thanks to her agency at the time. In fact, in 2006 she had auditioned for YG Entertainment, but didn't pass it, however she entered at the second try in 2008 and a year later the agency decided to let her sign the contract with ELLE Girl. It was something new, since she was still a trainee, but since YG had no intentions of making her debut soon, after the great success of 2NE1, he let her be. So she became an official model when she was only 16 years old. However, in 2011 she cut the contract, because simply "she was tired of the superficial world of fashion magazines" and continued to engage endorsements with brands but didn't sign any other contract.

Also in 2011, she finally got in SM, which had always been her great dream. Since 2009, for eleven years she only loved a singer, Kwon Boa. However when she decided to audition, she chose YG, as she knew she could be more free to express her fashion sense under that label. But still, even after entering YG, there had always been soemthing in her heart that told her that she was making a huge mistake, that wasn't the right root to follow. So, when in 2011, SMEnt. Global Auditions were held, she asked Yang Hyun Suk, YG's CEO, to recommend her to Lee Soo Man and she auditioned again, getting in at the first try.

After graduating from high school in 2011, she got a full scolarship by Sungkyunkwan university, that she is currently attending, majoring in Performing Arts.

Best friend:

Lee Min Ho | 19 | actor + studying at Sungkyunkwan university | Min Ho is like the elder brother Mi Ok has never had (even thought they are of the same age). He is the only one to deeply know every shade of her character and because of it he always tries to protect her when he knows she would get into trouble, and he nags her a lot, because he knows how it is her character and so he repriminds her what she shouldn't be doing. It would seem as he is the only one caring about her, but it isn't like that. She is also really attached to him and she gets stressed when she doesn't see him for more than 2 days. He is like oxygen and even though she tells him that she hates him when he nags her and she teases him because he has a chubby face, she still loves him a lot as a sister would do with her brother. He also comforts her, since she is always alone at home, because of her parents busy schedules, and even though she doesn't show it, Min Ho knows that she feels really lonely because her parents are never home. So he usually stays to sleep at her home, or invites her to come over exc... He cannot say that he isn't attracted to her, but she is in love with his elder brother, so he decided to only regard her as a best friend. They don't usually do skinship, but when they met instead of waving, they hug each other, everytime, be it at home, at school, or when the cameras are on. How did you get into SM Ent: auditioned| She had previously auditioned for YG and entered at the second try, but her dream has always been to become an SM artist, so in the end she decided to leave YG and audition for SM. During her YG years, she lived in a dorm alongside the other trainees. She was a fashion icon for them and many girls asked her tips on clothes, accessories, etc...So she lived pretty well in YG, even though she didn't really grew attached to anyone. When she got  in SM there was some hostility towards her because she came from YG and there were rumours about her passing the audition thanks to Yang Hyun Suk. Moreover she never said anything to defend herself, simply because she didn't care at all. Soon the rumour faded away but also in SM, as in YG, she didn't grew attched a lot to anyone.

Oh Sehun | 19 | EXO-K | Sehun has everything that Mi Ok hates in a man: he is cute, too shy, insecure at times, clingy and that lisp he has...she finds it extremely irritating.  Add to it the fact that he calls her noona, which she hates, she shivers everytime he is near her. He is the exact opposite of her ideal type, Lee Min Joon, and she cannot stand his childish image. You could define him a "nice guy", who likes to fool around with his friends but becomes completely clueless with girls, especially the one he likes. He can be really persistent and stubborn and that's why he is really determined and doesn't give up easily, be it with love matters, or with idol matters. He is also the type who would try to do something at the best and when he is into something, he really gives it all to it, be it a relationship, his dream of being an idol... That's why when he met Mi Ok and decided that he had fallen in love with her, he went to read girls magazines and sites on the web to know what behaviours did girl like...to bad that she isn't really the usual cute and shy girl.

How did they meet: She met him when she moved to SM Entertainment (as new trainees are introduced to old ones and idols etc...). She was practicing her choreography when BoA, the CEO of the agency entered the room with some of the EXO boys, including him, because she wanted to show them the new building and also wanted to introduce them to the new trainees. To him, it was love at first sight, to her it was simply...meh. She didn't really notice him until he introduced himself, but even after that she didn't really feel attracted by him.

 

How they act together: Sehun isn't at all Mi Ok's ideal type. But...she cannot stop herself thinking of him. She even slapped herself , but nothing, it seems like his obnoxious voice and his annoying behaviours got engraved in her mind. He was the first one to get interested in her. After meeting her at the agency and introducing himself, he couldn't stop to talk about her to the other EXO members. He is really persistent when in love and he decided the same day that she met her, that he was in love with her - love at first sight, right? - and that his mission was to make her fall for him. He searched through the web and he noticed that many girls like how man act cute with them, he also read that usually older girls,  prefer younger boys who act like cute teenagers instead of real men, so he decided to act like that with her. Wrong plan, Sehun-ah, wrong plan: whenever she is on his radar, he runs to her, screaming "NOONAAAA!" and he pesters her for the entire day. She usually cringes to his actions. But why is she starting to have a sort of affection towards him? | there isn't really a great difference in their behaviour when they are alone and with others, in fact Sehun doesn't care about other people's thoughts, so he continues to pester her even when there are people around. (Naturally not when there are fans, or they would kill her and than him xD) | They don't have nicknames for each others, he simply calls her noona, and she isually replies with an annoyed "Mhwo?"

Reason for break-up: they didn't really break up, because they weren't in a real relationship, she claimed to be his girlfriend and he let her be, since he knew how stubborn she could be at times.  When she got in YG, he thought that she would have given up to him, since he was also at Harvard, but it wasn't like that. Even when she was in SM, she continued to consider him her boyfriend and called him at least 4 times a week. However Min Joon has has a girlfriend since he moved to Harvard Uni. and he tried to explain it to Mi Ok, and also asked Min Ho to convince her, but nothing. | Mi Ok becomes completely another person when she is with him or simply when she talks about him: she becomes clingy, she daydreams, completely another being. Min Ho shivers whenever she is like that, hoping that she would return to her usual self.
