Many people in the supernatural world look down on witches or believe that we are a bunch of frauds or con-artists. There's always accusations of all forms of witchcraft being evil in nature; but like all supernaturals, it depends on the individual (mostly- unless you count followers of such religions such as Satanism or members of churches such as Anton LeVay’s Church of Satan and the Temple of Set.) There is so much more to being a witch than the capability to do magick; in fact many of us are empowered with other abilities, some of them of a psychic nature, or of a healing nature- many witches have varying strengths in each.

Many confuse witches for warlocks, or think they are one and the same. They are not. Warlocks are not male witches! Male witches are well... male witches. The term warlock is one of the biggest insults you can call a witch- it means "oath breaker;" equivalent to the old usage of the term bastard. The term wizard is more of a literary association and many witches do not use that term nor acknowledge it. Sorcerers do exist, but they are the sect of witchcraft that deal with demons and since many (more so than those that do not) believe that white magick is the only way to go, will not deal with sorcery.

There has been many historical wars within the history of witchcraft- many not written down, or those that have been written, have been distorted over the years. Paganism (the general term for witches, shamans, etc) has been around long before Christianity took a hold of many parts of the world. A lot of the Christian holidays are actually based on Pagan holidays (Christmas, Easter-if you look into the historical part of it.) Some of these wars have been between humans and witches (ie. What happened in Salem, Massachusetts, or the wars resulting in the exodus of many followers of the olde ways from Ireland) or between other witches (One coven wanting to overpower another coven.) Among (other supernaturals) there is "grief" between the witches with the fae or vampires. The Fae folk are born with powers, and vampires have powers that rival witchcraft. Witchcraft can be a born and inherited trait or one that can be taught- however, I should point out that being born with or learning witchcraft does not necessarily make you weaker or stronger (between witches or other supernaturals.) There isn't a lot of hate to and for or from other supernaturals, but more of dislike due to miscommunication or misconceptions about witchcraft.

Write about yourself. (Background)

I come from a long line of witches; though in my family we've never termed ourselves as such. It wasn't until my grandparents came to the United States and came across American witches and witchcraft that we started calling ourselves witches. In my case, it was an inherited trait; my mother is a witch, and so was her mother. In my family, it seems to be stronger in the women than in the men- my brother has no magickal tendencies or powers (beyond being slightly empathetic) but my uncle is a fairly powerful witch. I have very little healing powers, but am more powerful with those of the psychic nature. I am an empath and can read/gauge feelings and emotions. I also can divine immediate futures (per se... my tarot cards or runes can only see so far into the immediate future, but even the smallest of choices and decisions alter those visions.) I have been making spells since I was twelve (when I hit puberty,) but have been told to expect to have my powers in spell-making strengthen with age, more training and experience.

My grandmother and her friends (who are still in Korea) learned of the new school and suggested that my parents allow me to attend to further my education and training. My father (who has no magickal powers at all) supported the idea, since he was told that I was destined for great things (from my grandmother the night before I was born, after reading my mother before she left for the hospital.) My mother, disliked the idea of sending her baby so far away, but knew I needed more than what she or her brother or mother could teach me and allowed me to pursue entrance to this special school.

Describe your personality:

I am very outgoing and personable. I love meeting new people and making friends, but tend to also sit back and let those around me lead conversations. However, I never make rash decisions (in reference) to immediately following the suggestions from friends. I am the type to think thoroughly over something before making a decision or say something- I am a firm believer in the rule of three: whatever I put out -energy or emotions- whether it is negative or positive, will be returned to me threefold. I am usually a happy and optimistic person who likes to see the good in everyone and usually strive even harder to befriend those who do not necessarily look or act like those in positive lights... which means I've succumed to the charms of "bad boy" types, but have luckily always (as of yet) not done anything I've regretted. I am a perfectionist, but not outright- I work hard, but hate being seen as someone who only works or practices or studies.

*Being an empath, I (try to) stay away from negative situations (fights for example) but my personality sometimes makes that hard to do (I try to break up the fight or talk people down from fights)

*With the stereotype of witches dressing ONLY in black, i tend to stay away from black (except random jeans/pants)

*I have a lot of feminine tendencies, but wouldn't categorize myself as girly, neither would I categorize myself a tomboy since I love pink and cutesy things, but like to rough it out on the court/field with the boys when playing sports

*I have more boys as friends than girls (as a whole)

Amber Liu | 15 | 10th | She's an extrovert and funny. She's into sports and and music; likes to pull pranks on people, especially those that think they're better than others. She'd rather have fun than be closed up in a classroom studying, but yet she's so smart, she still aces all her labs and tests. Kim Jonghyun | 16| 11th | He's funny, honest, and can be blunt. He has a tendency to make random outbursts- sometimes angry ones, but mostly funny ones. He's smart and handsome, and it works in his favor in his playboy ways- though he tries to control his urges and needs. He is somewhat cocky though, so in a way its advantageous (for others since they stay away from him) and disadvantageous (since his needs sometimes gets too much too handle- hence the angry, random outbursts.) But beyond all that, and though he's friendly, he's picky about who he considers a friend- however, once you're a friend, he's loyal to you and will always fight along side you, or stand up for you. | Incubus (a demon in male form who lies upon sleepers, specifically women -though Jonghyun isn't particular if it's a man or woman- in order to have ual with them.) | He is friends with Amber and I met him when he was playing ball with Amber. But we became friends over our mutual like of the guitar.
