So while everyone's being giddy over other stuff.

I have just finished watching Gaksital aka Bridal Mask (Yeah, I'm slow but I had exams sooo whatever!)

I must say it's a brilliant show and not just because it's a Korean drama. I mean I have watched lots of History based dramas before and the ones that usually makes me bawl like mad would be the Hong Kong series ones, like no joke the actors are superb.

Anyway, back to the point. Gaksital isn't my first Korean drama nor is it my first History based Korean drama, my first History based Korean drama was SungkyungKwan Scandal which captivated my attention at first but at the very end my reaction was "meh"

Gaksital has taught me alot of things, not just about life but the love for one's country. They strived to the very end to gain independance and ofcourse I was busy cussing throughout the drama LOL. I was busy cussing at the old men who were just sitting in the office doing no and bossing the young ones doing around. Which reminds me of a poem I read... Cambodia by James Fenton. 

Honestly speaking there are only a few Korean dramas which made me bawl like a mad woman with my blanket, lol those typical stuff you know =P. It would be Manny, Gaksital and Ojakgyo Brothers. Love Rain didn't even make me cry, pfft. Lol I had to skip half of the series because it was just that boring and cliche. Whereas those 3 are just uncalled for, really. 

Ojakgyo Brothers + Manny = Choi Jung Yoon has starred in both series and nevertheless, she's awesome. 

Gaksital + Ojakgyo Brothers = Moon Joo Won (Joon  Won) has starred in both series but in Gaksital, Joo Won's the main so he had lots of pressure. BLOODY HELL, THE GUY MADE ME CRY BEFORE HE EVEN STARTED CRYING!!!!!!! WHAT SORCERY IS THIS!!!!!!!!!!

If you don't get what I mean, let me explain. What I'm trying to show here is that these two actors are like the bomb, with them both in one drama together is like whoooooaaaa. K thumbs up~

Anyway, I thought of blogging about Gaksital on my other blog, and my feels for that show is still lingering muahahaha. Ok bye. :3
