Americans and KPOP

I am living in America and I love KPOP.But most Americans hate Asian music. Where I living the one thing Asian-ish I have is English dub anime. Do you know what really ? I am the only one in my family who this Asians are cute and there music is good. When I try to get my younger sister liking them but she just ignores me! So I get on here to my fellow Asian lovers. I wish America would open up more to the Asian culture.

Not really because if they do, they'll only make stupid parodies of them and they will like make fun of them :/
Just like Psy. I'm tired of him taken as a joke. I'm really REALLY tired of everyone going around dancing Gangnam style without knowing what any of the words mean...

I feel the same way! Except in Canada. My mom and dad are fine with me liking it and my mom thinks they're good-looking (although she keep comparing them to Bruce Lee! O.o WTF?!) But yeah I'm the only one here that likes it...I feel so lonely :(

I agree with Dontlookinthecloset-sshi
But I wish that people respected us for liking K-Pop
As a Non-Korean Asian person, it's still hard to like it because of the whole Asian racial conflicts -.-

I don't brag either. My family doesn't even know about this website.

I sometimes feel the same way but, sometimes I don't want some people to find out about K-Pop because they would brag about it and say they found it first. >< And then a big commotion would happen. [In my opinion]
