{ pedigree } Key and Amber's love story began when they first met back in high school. Key was the school's ultimate diva, as Amber was the school's ultimate heartthrob. At first, nobody really could have guessed they would end up with each other since everytime they meet, they always ended up in an argument. Though they are friends, they couldn't really see any romantic attachment for the other, only friendship. That was when they entered college did they started to see the other on a different perspective, yet they still refused to accept their newly discovered feelings for the other. But when Amber started gaining a few admirers, which are guys that's when Key finally embraced his feelings and boldly confessed to Amber in front of everyone leaving a very confuse and embarrassed Amber to gawked at the blonde haired man dressed in pink from head to toe. It came much to her surprise, since she had to admit, she kinda thought Key was gay and was dating his bestfriend Jonghyun secretly so surely it came to her shock when Key told her that 'She's mine, get losts losers' to the guys she was hanging out with. Being off-guard, confused and mostly embarrassed, Amber flatly refused Key and told him he was crazy. Key being the ever so persistent guy he is, didn't give up and told Amber he was serious in which Amber told him to prove it and without any second thought he kissed her.
Long story short, after all the drama of confessing each other's feelings they became a couple. After graduation, they moved in with each other as Key started as a fashion designer with Amber being a psychiarist. When Key was 24 and Amber was 23 they had their first buddles of joy, Liam and Nate. After four years, Kimi was born.

While Key is the one who dresses, pampers and spoils their daughter; Amber on the other hand was the one who disciplines Kimi and as well tutors her with homework and teaches her sports.

relationship with character : Close with each other, Liam is the oldest child of the Kim household and thus, he makes it a habit of showing off his power over his younger siblings due to him being the oldest. He's quite manipulative and loves messing with other's head. He's favorite victim is Kimi as he always tell her to call him 'hyung-nim' instead of oppa which is also one of the reasons why Kimi calls guys 'hyung' instead of oppa. He's talented when it comes to sports, and is often seen playing soccer with lil' Kimi which mostly gives their father Key a heart-attack seeing his daughter being a boy.

relationship with character : Close with each other, Nate is the younger twin brother of Liam, though they are twins they are complete oposites of each other. As Liam is impulsive and messy, Nate is calm and neat. While Liam wants to mold his little sister into a tomboy he could play with, Nate wants to mold his only baby sister into a girl which is mostly a battle between thw twins since whenever Nate tries his best to let Kimi say 'oppa' Liam is always there to intervene saying 'hyung-nim'. Other than that, Kimi is close with Nate seeing that it is always her Nate-hyung to help her with her studies especially math, seeing that she's weak in that department making her love her Nate-hyung very much.

He naturally loves children, and seeing that his best friend had one he insisted to become Kimi's godfather which Jjong refuses since Kevin was too crazy for the child's health but being Kevin, he doesn't care and later became a godfather. He's close to Kimi, since Kimi always finds her Daddy Kevin (which Kevin suggested Kimi to call him making Jjong jealous) interesting and fun to be with, seeing that Kevin acts like a grown manchild most of the time.
