Shantelle MinRee Moon was born into high society at London's exclusive Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Her father, Samuelle Moon, is a successful cpa lawyer and wealthy business tycoon, while her mother, Jeon MinHye, is a world-renowned fashion icon and fashion designer by the brand of JeonHouse. Ree is the only daughter of her family, she has four older brothers and one younger brother. Growing up as the only girl in the household, it was only natural for everyone to be overprotective of her, she was after all the only lamb in the pack of wolves is how her brothers would often joke about it. When she grew up inside the Moon household, she's always treated like a precious princess and is adored and doted by her parents, grandparents and all of her brothers even though they want to sometimes but it's all out of love. Her father is specially attached to her, because he always wanted to have a daughter. Which was weird, since most father's wished for a son. And when Ree was born, her father was the happiest man alive. The Moon's are family-oriented people, that always spends time with each other's company. For the Moon siblings, family always comes first and they would drop anything they're doing just to go to any Moon family occasion, whether if their parents have previous engagements to attend to they would immediately cancel it out just to attend it, that is how much they valued one another as a family and whole.

When Ree was about 6 years of age, her whole family migrated to Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea since MinHye's father DaeMin (Ree's grandpa) was diagnosed with cancer. There in Seoul, it was Ree's first time meeting her grandparents she never knew existed but instead of feeling awkward with them she felt at ease, she always did wonder how it felt having grandparents seeing that her father's parents already died before she or Ren were born as the Moon siblings were doted by their grandparents with love and care. Ree later that year met her three best friends, Kai, Taemin and Suzy when she was being enrolled in a summer workshop and the four of them have been inseperatable since then.

Ree grew up, like a princess along with her family, but then people tend to change when they grow up. From the little Sweet Princess, Ree just so happens to grow up turning into a Tomboy Princess which somehow made her mom's ultimate goal to make her daughter more feminine. That's why she enrolled Ree in ballet school when she was around 7 years old just to later found out that her daughter was more interested in popping and hip-hop. Next, she enrolled her to take up piano classes that later turned out she was more talented in playing the drums. She even tried enrolling her in taking cooking and baking classes just to see that her daughter was more into dissecting car parts and putting everything back in order. And since Ree usually gets in a lot of trouble without meaning to like fights and stuff, that gets her mum angry all the time which led her to enroll Ree to take up proper etiquette classes which ended up to Ree dropping-out in the first day of class prior to the strong suggestion of the teacher saying that her daughter was a 'hopeless case'. Which also tempted her to almost cut Ree off the family for bringing too much embarrassment in their family's name.

However, when Ree was about to enter highschool she turned a new leaf as she tried to be more feminine to her mother's joy. Seeing that she noticed that her boy friends (two words) are already starting to like and date girls on entering puberty as they all come to her expecting advice on how to court their latest crush. It made Ree feel awkward and felt left out by this development as they don't see or consider her as a 'girl' but a 'dude' which oddly pissed her off. That's why she asked Suzy, Krystal and Ren (twin bro) to help with her make-over just surprising her gang of guy friends with her sudden change and looks when she entered high school and that's when Ree got her first boyfriend, which some of her friends *cough*Kai*cough*Taemin*cough* weren't too happy about it.

Cha SunWoo or Baro, was his name. He was a year older than Ree in the same club as her, he was her sunbae and she was the dongsaeng. He was the one who confessed to Ree, and Ree accepted since she liked him as well. Both dated for 6 months then call it quits seeing that they only saw each other as friends or siblings and they have been like that even after the break-up, but much closer than ever.

The next one Ree dated for a long period of time was Kim JongHyun. He was in his 3rd year of college while Ree was only a sophomore in highschool when they started dating. They met through Jae (Ree's 3rd older brother) when Jjong first went over their house for band practice (he's the vocalist in their band). Jae introduced them to each other, saying that Jjong was his sunbae/hyung in college and their lead vocalist. Ree didn't like him at first, since he was too cocky for his own good and he keeps annoying her calling her 'kiddo' just because he was older than her for a few years. But when Ree heard him sing, when she was told by her grandma to bring the boys (Jae & his bandmates) some food she was amazed by how lovely he sounded. As their playful banter then later turned into small teasing and after months of getting to know each other Ree confessed her feelings, as Jjong smiled and playfully told her 'Took you long enough to figure out, all those songs I wrote and sang are for you kiddo,' as they started going out.

They dated for more than a year, and it was perfect and magical. They might have their fights and jealous moments here and there but in the end of the day they are still together. That was, not until Ree caught him cheating behind her back with one of her best friends did everything came crashing down. And to make it all worst, when she arrived home she found no one there but only a letter stating that everyone has gone to the hospital because of her grandfather's sudden heart attack. Ree rushed towards the hospital but she never made it, he was gone.

Losing her grandfather without even saying a goodbye or seeing him take his breathe one last time stung Ree and made her feel guilty. He was after all one of her favorite people in the world, he has always been there in her tough times and she wasn't even there when he was struggling with his own life. She was out with her douchebag of a ex-boyfriend, instead of staying at home taking care of her grandfather when he wasn't feeling well that morning. During the whole funeral, Ree didn't shed a single tear which her friends and family would have prefer since it would be a normal reaction instead she just stares blankly at her grandfather's casket.

After the funeral, Ree was acting like her normal regular self which made everyone feel a little troubled since she was acting too normal for a person who just previously lost a love one. She was her same boisterious and obnoxious self. Everyone around her was cautious not to pull any unwanted strings and break her down. And yet it was Kai who wasn't able to longer stand her pretense and told her to stop the pretending and just freely cry, "Ree, numbling the pain for a while will make it worse when you finally feel it. So just stop being strong and let the tears flow, it's okay. I'm here to hold you until you feel better." And she did, she cried her eyes out.

Even though there were unfortunate events that happened in Ree's life, she grew up happy and care-free. She learned to smile, her real smile again because of Ree, as she also met different people that she called her friends. She already forgave her Jonghyun a long time ago, but she still couldn't help but be afraid of falling in love due to the things that happen in her past. Storge & Philia love are fine with her since it isn't the type of love that ruins people. Finally she's in college together with her crazy group of childhood friends as they are ready to take over the world.

Growing up with only brothers all around her, it was only natural for Ree to be in-touch with her manly nature. Headstrong, reckless, uncontrollable, athletic and has a ton of street-smarts is what she got growing up in her family filled with guys along with a knack for extreme sports, action, danger and adventure. When Ree was young, he always prayed she would turn into a tomboy so that boys will stay away from her and just see her as a friend, that's why he always teaches Ree sports and brings her to games along with his other children. how they act/ed around eachother | Jae and Ree have a so-so relationship together, they're not really close with each other but they are close enough for Ree to open up to him as Jae to console Ree with her problems. Jae doesn't really need to say anything to make Ree feel better, all he needs to do is listen to her talk off as he offers her ice cream. He was the ideal shoulder to cry on and a good listener seeing that he would just nod his head and give small comments here and there but never interrupt her in between with her ing. Jae might not look like it, but behind the indifferent look he's popularly known for, he greatly cares for everyone very much and is one of the most sensitive person inside their family. how they act/ed around eachother | Even though the two are twins and are really really close because they shared a special bond as twins, they fight and argue like 24/7 most of the time. Ren and Ree might be twins, but the two of them are the exact opposite of each other. While Ree was obnoxious and boyish, Ren on the otherhand was sophisticated and feminine. Sometimes their family, relatives and friends would tease the twins telling them they should just swap bodies to make everyones lives easier. Ren usually acts like an over-bearing and naggy mother to Ree, seeing that he wants her sister to look presentable and not like a bum that's why he's responsible of choosing Ree's clothes everyday like he's playing dress-up with Ree being his own human-sized doll. Ree loves Ren to bits, but the nagging and him making her his own play doll just has to stop. They usually gets into an arguement most of the time since Ren just nags a lot as he gets crazy when he's in his happy place called 'Fashion Central' or he's just insane. He's a boy that can melt people's hearts away with his cute dimple-smile, bubbly personality and being the sweetest guy you'll ever meet. Just like how her older brother's dote on her, Ree dotes on Gabbie seeing that he is her only baby brother and she felt obliged to take care of him to bits. They are close, closer than their other siblings even Ren since their ages aren't far from each other and they also share a lot of common interest like food, soccer, sweets and more. Ree spoils Gabbie, as Gabbie acts like a baby to Ree since he loves getting his older sister's attention and being babied by her. He somehow has a sister-complex when it comes to Ree. Like all her brother's Gabbie is also overprotective to Ree, seeing that he knows that behind the headstrong front she's fragile deep down just like any girl. He was one of the people who Ree lets them call her and be treated as a princess, that's just how much he loves her grandfather. He's a silly grandfather who tends to forget things too easily, yet when it comes to cars he can remember everything from dates to car parts. He's close to Ree as his granddaughter follows him around, and since his granddaughter seems to be fascinated with his collection (automobiles) he decided to teach her everything he knew about it making her addicted to anything with wheels. He's the one who usually scolds Ree when she rebels, but it is just out of discipline since her granddaughter has a knack of creating mayhem from time to time with their friends. When he died, Ree was the one who was greatly affected by his death seeing that she was the closest to her grandfather.

how they act/ed around eachother | Ree's really close to her grandmother just how much she's close with her grandfather. She has a beautiful voice, which calms Ree whenever she gets nightmares. When Ree and her family moved in Seoul, it was always her grandmother that takes care of them when their parents are away on business during everyone's underage days (Dan being 15, Raf was 12, Jae was 9, Ree & Ren were 6, while Gabbie was 4). HyeRi would always cook and bake pastries and meals for everyone, and would sometimes teach Ree how to do it, yet sadly, she is still cooking and baking impaired. She was a sweet grandmother who always babies her beloved grandchildren. When her husband died (Ree's grandfather) she was torn with the event, but would try to continue living seeing that her husband told her that she should stay happy and continue living her life, as she tries to get her granddaughter's bright smile back.

He was a gift from her two boy bestfriends, both from Kai and Taemin on her 16th birthday which made really happy that they let River enter her life. She babies River treating him as her own baby as her so-called feminine and maternal intincts always surfaces when it's about River making Ree's mother delighted seeing that her daughter wasn't all about brute as she also has a caring and compassionate side. Ree would always baby talk her pet dog as she addresses herself as mommy, while Kai and Taemin are the daddies seeing that they were the one who gave River to her. River is close to Ree and always loves getting attention from her, he's not really close to guys as the only ones who can approach him are female, Ree's family members, Kai and Taemin.

Everyone loves her, as they always gives her treats and stuff. But it was Ren who spoils her a lot, since he always loved cats. While Ren was a cat person, Ree was a dog person so that is why she isn't really comfortable at first with Brooke being in the family. But she learned to love her, with her grandfather's help, seeing that cats are lovable creatures as well.

At first they didn't like each other, seeing that Kai was unbearable and extremely mean with her but since they were paired off with each other in one of the class plays, they threw their differences aside and found out that the other wasn't bad. They act like bickering bestfriends slash frenemies ; he calls Ree 'Dorky Princess', while Ree calls him 'Jerky Prince'. The two of them are close but tends to bicker and fight over the most childish things since the two of them refused to be out-smarted by the other, seeing that Kai makes it a habit to at least annoy her once or twice a day. Aside from their bickering they love playing games and bets with each other. Like when they are feeling hungry they would play a little game and whoever loses buys their snacks. They are close in a way that they can share personal problems with each other and help the other out in their dilemma. He always has a smile on his face brightening everyone's day with his sunny smile. But behind each smile lies the selfless man, the one who's always willing to back down and disregard his feelings for Ree, because he knew that his other bestfriend (Kai) likes her as well. He's willing to back down, just so he could see his friends happy since for him his friends happiness always comes first before him. However, he also has a bad side just like anyone else. He gets selfish as well, saying: "I'm willing to let her go for her to be happy but if she sheds a tear because of you I'm taking her back and making her mine." Since if you couldn't make her happy, he sure as hell will not sit around and see her shed tears. Taemin was after all, the sensitive guy who can see the pain in Ree's eyes when everyone else believes the smile on her face. After all, anyone can make you smile or cry, but it takes someone special to make you smile when you already have tears in your eyes.

Especially when he sings which makes everyone swoon at how beautiful he sounds while he practically riles everyone in towards his direction, admiring his handsome features, intellectual wit and angelic voice. But then again, he is only human and thus has a flaw. Jjong's the typical rich single bachelor who has a penchant for parties, booze and women. A well-known playboy who often breaks girls hearts. However when he falls in love with someone he becomes a love-sick puppy. Being loyal while ignoring all the flirty smiles girls keep on flashing at his direction as he becomes the over-protective and jealous boyfriend. When it comes to his girlfriend, he does everything to make her happy. That is why he was so mad at himself for not realizing what EunJung was planning and making her succeed when she saw Ree's pained expression when she broke up with him. It was all EunJung's plot to break the happy couple off, by pretending to be sick as she clings to Jonghyun as Ree walks in on them and saw them in a compromising position.

Kim Jong In ; Kai

If she ends up with Kai they make a ridiculously adorable yet brutal couple as they try to always out-wit the other in their own knowledge in things. First, Kai would always deny his true feelings for Ree saying that Taemin was spouting nonsense while saying, "How would I fall for a girl like her? She's totally not my type." As Ree would reply, "The feeling is mutual, bro." which somehow stung his ego. He keeps on saying she doesn't like her, even though everyone is already aware of his soft spot for Ree, but when he see's Taemin finally making his moves towards Ree he finally realizes his feelings for her, which is really love. They are both slow in realizing their feelings for each other, always saying that they are nothing but friends which was just utter 'bull-poo'.

Lee Tae Min ; Taeminnie

He was already aware of his feelings for Ree, however Ree doesn't since she only see's Taemin as nothing but a friend and a younger sibling she cares for. However, when Ree was being ridiculed by Kris for being able to quickly get a new boyfriend (he assumed that Taemin was Ree's new bf) even after their break-up as he told Taemin, "You're Ree's new guy? I can't imagine how you're fine with a tomboy. You must be a really pathetic guy, huh?" Ree was about to -in and give Kris a piece of her mind when Taemin grab his collar and said with cold eyes, "Ree really doesn't have any insight for choosing guys, so if you hurt her again. . .I won't forgive you." which made Kris claw his arm off his collar and walk off, leaving it scratched and injured. Ree felt responsible as guilt wash over her, as tears fell as she apologizes and scolds Taemin for butting in and getting hurt, "Damn it Minnie, you could have just left my matters alone. Your fingers. . .it's injured. You're like my baby sister, that's why don't do something so reck-" but she was cut off when Taemin kissed her, shutting her up while saying, "Ree, kindly keep your insesibilities to a limit. For I, am not a girl. Seeing the girl I like being hurt like that, I wouldn't give up without a fight."

Do Kyung Soo ; D.O

Whenever Ree's around D.O, she's always smiling her real smile since she really enjoys his company since he has an air around him that relaxes people. Being with him, she's her care-free self since D.O doesn't judge her for being loud and crude. He respects her for being her. So when D.O started avoiding her it (because of Jonghyun's appearance back in Ree's life) pained her for some reason, like there was something missing. When she told Jae (her older brother) about the issue, where she usually pours her whole inner feelings to seeing that her others are just crazy. He told her "Ree, maybe you like him more than just this cute little cuddly boy that reminds you of your pet? Since from the way you describe him, you sound like you really, like, like him. Like, really, like-like him."

Kim Jong Hyun ; Jjong

Firstly, if Ree ends up dating Jjong it is due to the fact that he wants her back and wants to start a new. Ree might not be willing to accept him, since he was one of the guys who hurt her by cheating behind her back. He might told her and cleared the whole misunderstanding yet Ree still refuses to get back with him. But with Jonghyun being his regular sweet self, always reminding her of the past they shared with each other and him always throwing her special surprises like composing and singing her songs with his angelic voice she always loves it was hard not to fall for him all over again.

D.O's birthday is fast approaching, and the gang (Ree, Suzy, Krystal, Baro, P.O, Kai & Taemin) are busy planning on what to give him.

Ree : *smiles* Should I make the cake?

Krystal : You can make a cake? Since when?

Suzy : Clearly, I wasn't inform by Ree's newly accomplish cooking skills.

P.O : Psh. No way, she can bake a cake. Everything she makes with food is deadly to ones health!

Taemin : I suggest we just get one from the bakery, for D.O and our safety.

Friends : There's no way you could do it!

Ree : Well, if I look at the cook book, I can do it.
