To a stranger, he may seem like an innocent guy, who cannot hurt anyone, but looks can be decieving. He is not innocent, at all. Hyuk Min's family is not the ideal family you can see on TV. He was born in Los Angeles and grew up there, he knew basically nothing about Korea and the korean habits. His parents wanted him to grow up as an american person, and they didn't want him to visit Korea. His parents were barely at home, so his brother was the one who raised him up. His father wanted Hyuk Min to be a businessman, just like him. Hyunk Min, on the other hand, didn't like the idea. He was around 14 years old when he got obsessed with dancing and music. He decided to be an artist, no matter what. He didn't want to do boring things, he didn't want to waste his time going on meetings. He wanted to live an interesting life.

How Were You Scouted?: 

He went to all the auditions that were held in Seoul. He wanted to be a trainee so much, he was training almost all day to make his dancing better.
