She doesn't do it intentionally but it slips out whenever she rambles on about goodness only knows what. Because of her endless chatter, Ye Jin is categorized as annoying and she is often lead to the doorstep of trouble with that mouth of hers. She's straight-forward and does not consider other people's feelings when it comes to telling the truth. She's pretty blunt in what she says but adds on more things which thus describes her talkative nature.

She doesn't seem to get a hint when people wants to seriously get rid or get away from her. She continues talking by making remarks, complaints and compliments on occasion. Thus, her obnoxious side is shown. She's very unpleasant to be around and will annoy the hell out of anyone. She is resented by many and doesn't give a damn about it. love interest: Byun Baekhyun

personality: Despite his cute and adorable baby face, he's actually cold and can be rude when he wants. He's accustomed to getting what he wants and will not rest until he gets it. He can be a bit of a flirt in his own way and he uses his appearance to his advantage. That is what he uses to lure in his prey. Not only does he have the looks, but he has the brains to outsmart anyone he wanted. Once he's determined, he doesn't give up. Adding to that, he's competitive and he absolutely hates it when he loses. He enjoys solving puzzles and loves challenges. He toys around with anyone who interests him and he has a possessive side.

love story: At first, just like everyone she met, Baekhyun got easily annoyed with Ye Jin. She wouldn't shut up and she wouldn't leave him alone since she was interested in his peculiar personality. He would always threaten her in one way or the other if she wouldn't shut up and go away. However, despite all of the threats, Baekhyun can't bring himself to carry out those threats to her. She wasn't worth it, is what he thought. As the days went by, he got used to her babbling self and just ignored her presence until she wasn't next to him. She had been sick for a few days and wasn't able to leave her bed, yet alone her room. He didn't want to admit that he was worried about her and just asked around to see how she was doing. He was relieved that she was okay but he ended up scolding Ye Jin for not being able to take care of herself.

He often teases Ye Jin for being cute instead of being y since he preferred y girls. For spite, Ye Jin sometimes try to act y with the help of Kai and the other girls from the mansion. Because of that sudden change from cute to y, Baekhyun can't seem to hold back what his body does nor can't he hold back his feelings. It turns out, Baekhyun is the one who's falling head over heels in love with Ye Jin. What turns out to be fun and games for Ye Jin, turns out to be love for Baekhyun. In the end, Ye Jin falls for Baekhyun and he's quite possessive of her and is bent on protecting her.

backup personality: Cold, aloof and does not hesitate when luring in his prey. He's calculating and precise when it comes to getting what he wants. He uses everything he has to his advantage; his looks, his smooth talk and whatever else he has. He makes no mistakes and does not tolderate any either. He's a complete perfectionist and expects everything to be of a high standard. He doesn't fool around but he does take care of his dongsaengs when he's ready. He can be a gentleman and he has manners but he's very straightforward and blunt. His gentlemanly words can easily melt a girl's heart. He tends to become a bit sadistic when angry.

how you guys interact: A bit awkward at first since normally, Ye Jin would just go and make conversation with anyone but with Kris' scary aura, she tends to become nervous around him. However, she slowly starts to become comfortable around him when she saw that he took good care of his friends. He even attempted to make Ye Jin soup when she was sick with the help of Kyungsoo. She was touched with what he did for her and she's very grateful towards him. He's very forward with what he wants and he would often make Ye Jin blush with just a simple stare or a simple string of words.

backup love story: The first time he set his eyes on her, his mind went blank. He had never reacted to a girl like that ever. She looked like she was having fun while exploring the mansion that had so many rumours surrouding it. He was amazed that a cute, vulnerable looking girl like her would dare step foot in this place. In other words, he was intrigued. He simply kept a far distance away and just observed her from afar. He had the urge to protect her and keep her safe from harm. When she fell sick, his body moved on its own and he found himself begging Kyungsoo to help him make soup for her. In the end, he fell in love and so did Ye Jin. 

 

best friend: Kim Jongin (Kai) - He was an easy-going and friendly guy and Ye Jin found it easy to interact with him. He somewhat acts like a brother and often give tips to her when she asked. He was very pleased to find out that Ye Jin wanted to change her cute image to a y one when it came to Baekhyun even if it was just temporary as a prank. He was having fun while telling her how to act, how to dress and everything. He was proud when she succeeded in getting Baekhyun. Despite his flirtatious personality, he gave up hitting on Ye Jin when she flat out rejected him. He was a gentleman after all.

Park Chanyeol - Being the happy virus he was, he was just as talkative as Ye Jin thus, she found it easy to be friends with Chanyeol. Despite being best friends with Baekhyun, he was totally having fits of laughter after hearing what Ye Jin wanted to do to Baekhyun. He knew that Baekhyun likes y girls and he thought that it would be hilarious to see Baekhyun's reaction. He treats Ye Jin like a sister and has the habit of patting her head. She often complains of how tall he was which makes him laugh.

enemy/rival/frenemy: Kim Minseok (Xiumin) {Enemy} - Upon entering the mansion, the first person he met was Xiumin. Of course, she run up to him and pinched his cheeks and cried out "Bao Zi". His cheeks were so squishy and his hair was styled up so to her, he did look like a bun. She just couldn't help it. Because of this, he totally freaked out and shouted at her for being inconsiderate to other people's feelings. So with this incident, not matter how many times she apologized, she would end up doing the same thing over again.

Park Chanyeol {Rival} - Despite being best friends with him, Ye Jin couldn't help but be jealous with his relationship with Baekhyun. She wished she could be like that with Baekhyun but all he thought of her was that she was annoying. She feels guilty for always being jealous of his friendship with Baekhyun even though she was best friends with Chanyeol. 

❆I Miss Them

memories: She misses her grandparents the most. Her parents were hardly around since they often busy with work. Her grandparents were the ones who actually took care of Ye Jin. She was always fond of the stories that her grandpa would tell her. Whereas, she was fond of how her grandma would always want her help in the kitchen. She never acted selfish around them since she just couldn't. Her grandparents were that precious to her. 

reason: Her grandpa told her about the mansion up on the hill. He told her about the mysteries and rumours surrounding the building when she was a little girl. She was fascinated with it and when she grew up, she walked pass the mansion every weekend when visiting her grandparents' graves. She would always write a little letter to her grandparents and when she walking by one weekend, the note flew out of her hands and blew towards the mansion. She grabbed it before it entered the mansion but she wanted to check it out; her curousity got the best of her.

comments: This is the first EXO vampire fic I came across and I really like it~! I also loved the foreword! By the time I finished reading a few words, I wanted to read more!
