Trainee years:

Trainee life:
As a trainee, he has been working really hard for the past 3 years. He would stay up at night, and practice playing the piano while rapping and singing. Took dancing lessons with Taemin, and is doing his best, even though he isn't really that good at dancing. He would also keep on practicing even if he's sick. Dongmin never gave up, and hoped that he would debut soon.
How were you accepted as a trainee?:
His sister Taeyeon, told him to audition for the SME's next auditions after she noticed his talent that he's been hiding from everyone. And so he went to the auditions, played the piano while rapping, and they told him that he is really talented and that's how he got accepted as a trainee.
