Background:

He was born in Seoul, Twenty one years ago. His Father works in the korean military, and His mom is a voice actor. He is the second child in his family, Has a sister named Park Gyuri, yes, KARA's Goddess. His childhood is pretty normal, growing up in a loving family and he practically got everything that he wanted. He was always taught to be honest by his parents, and he still carries that trait until now. He has a lot of friends growing up because of his positive and happy go lucky nature. And since he was still a kid, he loves music. He's a big fan of H.O.T just like his sister, the one who introduced the legendary korean group to him.

He is very active and sporty. He played football during his school days and once had a dream to become football player, but he knew that his father would disapprove it. He never has interests in jobs like doctor or lawyer because he thinks that the job wasn't a fun thing to do. So when his sister went to become a child actress, then an idol, and seeing that she had a lot of fun doing it, he wanted to become one as well. His dad initially disapproves this, prefer that his son went on to become a doctor, since he wanted one of his kids to have a career outside of the entertainment world. But after seeing his son's determination, His dad approves him to follow his sister's footsteps and become an idol as well.

Personality:

Cheerful and optimistic by nature, he sees just the brighter side of life, ignoring the darker aspect.  He is optimistic and positive, even deep inside because he believes that no matter what has happened, something good is always around the corner and the sun will always shine again.The man is lucky in both, professional and personal fronts. For him, the nature of the person matters more than the appearance. He believes that looks can go weary, but nature always remains the same. - Park Hoyeon (Father, 50 years old.Military personnel) - Discipline and tough on the outside, but has a soft spot for his children and really caring and supporting them. He is a somewhat strict father to Hyunki and his sister, but he is really caring towards them and loves them very much. They are close with each other.

 

- Park Sohyun (Mother, 47 years old. Voice actor) - Very caring and loving. Also has a good sense of humor. They are very close. Hyunki loves to tell his stories and experience to his mom, and she is the most important people in his life.

 

- Park Gyuri (Sister, 24 years old. Idol, Leader of Kara) - The goddess. Full of confidence and witty. But she's a very sweet person who is really humble and kind. They are very very close. - Kim Kibum/Key (Best Friend, 20 years old. Member of Shinee) - The Diva. He loves all the attention focused on him. He is also very talkative and sometimes whiny. But he's really mature for his age and really understanding. They are like brothers. They often hang out together and share interesting stories. Key always go to him when he has a problem and vice versa.

 

- Choi Minho (Good Friend, 20 years old. Member of Shinee) - Cool and calm. Seems to be quiet and reserved outside, but inside he is a friendly guy, not to mention a really competitive person. They have a common interest, soccer. People often found them talking about soccer or playing soccer video games together. Minho is a fun person to hang around with.

 

- Lee Hyukjae/Eunhyuk (Good Friend, 26 years old. Member of Super Junior) - Friendly and funny. Also really mischievous and loves to make pranks. But he is quite a sensitive person. It was Gyuri who introduced him to Hyunki. Gyuri told Eunhyuk to keep an eye for his brother and that's what he did. They have a sunbae-hoobae relationship and Eunhyuk acts like a big brother to him. Hyunki always irritates Eunhyuk when he asked him about his "Special Videos".

 

- Goo Hara (Friend, 21 years old. Member of Kara) - Sweet, cute, and friendly girl. Also really funny and a little bit competitive. Again, Gyuri introduced them. Among all of his noona's memer, Hara is the closest to him. They often joke around when they met and share some funny conversations.

 

Rival(s):

Kim DongHyun (23 years old. Leader of Boyfriend) - Calm but also quite snobbish and really thinks that he is above everyone else, especially the rookies. They cross paths at the backstage of a music show, and immediately has a mutual dislike for each other. Donghyun thinks Hyunki as just another talentless rookie and Hyunki thinks Donghyun as a snobbish person that got way above his head because he debuted first and in quite popular band.

 

Love interest:

Jung Nicole (20 Years old. Member of Kara) - She is a cheerful girl with a smile that could brighten up anyone's day. She's easygoing, warm and friendly. She has a lot of friends because of her humble and warm personality. She also has a great sense of humor, not to mention dorky at times. But underneath it all, she's a strong hearted and hardworking girl. In short, she's really adorable.

 

How you will meet/did meet your interest:

They've met the first time when Hyunki accompanied Gyuri to DSP Media's office, and she introduced him to her members, including Nicole. She left a nice first impression to him. They met again when Key asked Nicole to hang around with him and Hyunki. Both of them were quite surprised that they meet again, especially without Gyuri around. They have a friendly talk and instantly clicked with each other. They often hang around, whether it's with Key and Minho, or with Kara members. They are really friendly towards each other and likes to fool and joke around. They keep contact with text and phonecalls and always wishes each other good luck before performances.

They met in SM's dance studio. Luna was practicing alone and Hyunki happenend to walked passed the studio. He stopped and saw her practicing for awhile. She saw him and they have a conversation. Luna acts like Hyunki's little sister. She loves to be spoiled by Hyunki and he couldn't do much because Her aegyo is too much for him.

Were you scouted?:

He was scouted when he entered a singing competition that was held by SM Entertainment. He didn't win, but the scouts of SM likes his voice and invited him to come to SM for a further audition. He Showed his skills in singing and also a little bit of his rap skills. The scouts and PD's are impressed enugh with his skills and they accepted him as a trainee at SM.

Trainee background:

His trainee life is quite pleasant. He managed to gained some friends because he has a likeable personality. He need to improve his dancing, but still manage to become a decent one. But the life of a trainee is not without it's thorns. His sharp tongue sometimes offended others, eventhough he didn't mean it.
