He was born in Seoul, South Korea, Twenty two years ago. His father is a University lecturer, and His mother is a regular, stay at home housewife. He is the second child of his family. He has an older sister that is now working as a veterinarian. His childhood was pretty normal and happy. Growing up in a loving family, He practically gets anything that he wants. Good thing that he has supporting parents and a caring sister. Social life is not hard for him either. He has a likeable personality that got him lots of friends. He's not a Kingka, but he's still quite popular among his peers because his talents in music and sports.

Music and sports is always been his interest growing up. He was a member of his school's soccer team. He also has a band, where he served as the guitarist and vocalist. He wants to have a career between those two fields. But in the end he chose music because it's always been his greatest passion. His dad was initially against him being a musician, because being an academic man, he wants him to concentrate in his studies. But he can convince his dad after a heart to heart father and son talk. trainee life:

Trainee life was hard for him at first. He had to adjust to the life of a trainee, which filled with assignments and practice that would take long hours. But he never complained. After awhile, he successfully adapted himself in the trainee life and schedule. The company sets high standards and puts a lot of pressure, but he could withstand them all. He was a model trainee for others because he never complains and always work hard. Singing is his forte, and dancing is his achilles heel, so he really worls hard on the dancing aspect. Often come early or stay around late to pratice his dancing. He managed to become a good dancer. He can rap, but it's not his strong point so he also works hard to improve his rapping. He gained lots of friends during trainee because his likeable personality.

how did you get accepted? He auditioned at Various entertainment companies like YG and Cube before he heard the open audition held by Cherry Blossom Entertainment. He decided to try his luck and entered the audition. At the auditon, He showed his versatile voice by singing one trot song and one pop song. He also showed the scouts and PD's his guitar and piano skill. The scouts liked the versatility of his voice, and it's a plus that he could play musical instruments. So they told that he was accpeted as a trainee for the company.
