{Reblog} Episode 11: The lead actor in Dr Jin is Kim Kyung Tak (Kim Jaejoong)!

Kim Kyung Tak is a very three-dimensional person.

What kind of person is he?

He is a person who wants to protect everyone.

In episode 11, he only wanted to protect his friend, Hong Yong Hwi.
He also wanted to protect the woman that he loved, Hong Yong Rae.
He even wanted to protect Jin Hyuk and Lee Ha Eung who were innocent.
Moreover, he wanted to protect his father and vice-premier, Kim Byung Hee and his brother who disregarded him.

The conflict finally drove him to kill the court lady who followed Kim Byung Hee’s order and poisoned the queen dowager’s food.

If the court lady was alive, the whole world would know of his father’s misdeeds.

In order to protect his father, he killed the innocent court lady.
He was in agony when he knew that he had to kill her.

Even though he was an illegitimate son, he did it because he was Kim Byung Hee’s son. He was not worried about having nowhere to go to if the Andong Kim family’s political influence ceased. He was desperate, as he knew that he would be unable to live if it were to happen.

Kim Kyung Tak did not hesitate to pull the trigger when his father passed him a gun and told him to commit suicide.

Even though the world does not belong to him and he is living like a servant, he is a person who wants to protect others to the best of his ability.

Gradually, I began to watch Dr Jin for this man.

Considering that Andong Kim family’s political influence would cease after a year in the drama, my heart aches when I think of the gloomy days that Kim Kyung Tak has ahead.

In my opinion, Kim Kyung Tak seems to be the lead actor in this drama.

I want an ending that shows Kyung Tak and Yong Rae living together like the common people.

This is from a blog I read about a review of JaeJoong's character in Time Slip Dr. Jin. 

I've been watching the show from the very episode until the latest episode which is episode 14. I have to say that this character Kyung Tak is written beautifully and gosh... I am having a crush on the character. (Sorry Changmin... XD and unnie)

He's a selfless and loyal man who cares nothing but only protecting and guarding the people he cares about. Being born an illegitimate child, he fight to gain recognition from his father, the Left State Prime Minister. He allows his older half brother to degrade him as a person. He studies hard and trained dilligently in martial arts, hoping that one day his father would praise him. Finally he became a high ranking officer who's a part of the policing force in the Joseon Dynasty. One classic line by him is: 

“Since long ago, the heavens have never been on my side.”

He is known for his exceptional martial art skills and have a competitive nature. Therefore he gain respect from people around him. He's strong and determined to never lose any fights, show any sign of weakness and shed a tear. However he's only weak for only Hong Young Rae and his best friend, Young Hwi. 

His only best friend, Hong Young Hwi (another of my favorite character !) betrayed him. All these while he thought he knew everything about this friend whom he grew up with, only to be hit hard by the bitter truth that his best friend is the leader of the notorious gang he have been going after. When he was faced with the chance of capturing his own best friend, he set his friend free instead of gaining the approval of his father. The second time when he and Young Hwi met again for a showdown. He won his friend and had a chance to slay his friend, yet he turned away and said: 

My only friend has just left to the netherworld. Now there is no one who is my friend.

He had been in love with Hong Young Rae since young but she never reciprocate any feelings for him. He was heartbroken knowing that she already fell in love with Dr. Jin but yet he stood by her side. He rescue her repeatedly, being her rebound whenever she needs him. He was willing to marry her just to save her family and put aside his pride for her. He vow to protect her as long as she's by his side. When he knew Young Rae was suffering from a terminal disease, he begs her to seek treatment. Telling her:

“To me, your life is more important than this wedding.”

He begs her to look for Dr.Jin for examination and as you know in the Joseon Dynasty. No man or even woman in the right mind would allow an opposite to examine any parts of the body. Yet he willingly begs her to seek treatment and 'waited outside' while she's alone in the room with Jin Hyuk because he's afraid she would be embarrassed. 

He was willing to get into trouble with his father just to save her from execution. He was forced to commit sucide in front of his father only to find out his father was just testing his loyalty. 

I am seriously considering which pairing to root for. Jin Hyuk/Young Rae or Kyungtak/Young Rae. 

Jin Hyuk treats Young Rae with respect and as an equal which was rare during that time. However Kyungtak genuinely care for Young Rae and I believe if Young Rae marries him, she would lead a peaceful life instead one that's challenging if she were to choose Jin Hyuk.

I can't wait for the next episode... Gah~ I falling for Kyung Tak <3 ... If only there's a man like this (Kekeke)

So I decided the pairing I am rooting for....
