Easygoing, warm and friendly. Easy in making new friends and acquaintances. But not everyone can be close to her. She treasures her close friends and family the most. Family background :

She was born in Seoul, Twenty one years ago. Her Father is a University Professor, and her Mother is a Librarian. Shee is an only child, didn't have any brothers or sisters. But that doesn't mean that she was spoiled as a kid by her parents. She's not. She always been taught by her parents if she wants something, she has to work hard and earn the thing that she wants. That shaped her to be a hardworking, and independent individual growing up.

As both of her parents work in the educational field, she grow up in an academic environment. But since she was a kid, Music has always been her passion and dreams. Her dad wanted her to become a doctor or a lawyer, and told her to focus on her education. But she didn't have any interest in that field, so she and her dad often clashed because of this. Finally after finishing high school with great marks, and also with a little help form her mom, She could convince her dad to let her pursue her dream to become an entertainer and auditioned in YG Entertainment.

How did you meet :

- Dara : They met when she first  entered YG entertainment. Dara was the first one to welcome her to the company. Since then they became best friends and they treated each other like sisters.

- Daesung : They met at YG practice room when Daesung just finished his training and accidentally bumped into Hyojin. They have a conversation and been the best friends ever since.

How did you meet:

- Key : Met at a backstage of a Music show. They are both social butterflies and when they meet they have an interesting conversation and become friends ever since

- Nana : Key introduced Nana to Hyojin. Since Key and Nana are close, Hyojin eventually become friends with Nana as well.

How you manage to be YG trainee? : She auditioned when YG held their open audition and Hyojin decides to try her luck and went to the audition. She show the Scouts and PD's her talents in singing and dancing. The scouts like her and she was accepted to become a trainee at the company.
