This song kinds of irritate me since the melodies in the stanzas and the chorus don't jive (that's my opinion). But then, I've heard so many versions of this song, especially the chorus. One version has President Obama supposedly singing this song. To my amusement, the lyrics of the song were taken from the various clips of him doing his speeches. You can find that it You Tube.

Another parody of the chorus is from the Philippines. I don't know if you've heard of this, but here's the excerpt:

Hey, I just met you. And this is crazy. So here's my number. Pa-load ng twenty.

(This pertains to buying cellphone load for twenty pesos)

Another one is something I just read this morning. It's about criticizing a girl's make up by a guy, or presumably another girl:

Hey I just met you, girl you look crazy. So what's your make-up, Crayola maybe..

It's amazing how people's imaginations stir when a sleeper hit find itself in the mainstream.

So, no offense to the artist and the composer, but I find parodists genius.
