A Deeper Look

What was your life before entering Providence Academy? Jin Gook's life was quite hard before he entered Providence academy. He knew he had his mutant powers since he was a kid because his mom has the same kind of power as well. His mom told him to conceal his power because she didn't want him to get bullied by the so called 'normal' kids just because he was different from them. It was hard for him to hide his powers considering that his school had a lot of bullies that like to take advantage of quiet kids like him. Because of that, his mom got him out of the school. He was then home-schooled and his teacher is none other than his own mother. His mom taught her all the things that he need to learn in his life.

How did you end up at Providence Academy? His mother is also working, and her workload is increasing because she got a promotion. So she no longer could home school Jin Gook. She knew about Providence Academy from a her mutant colleague whom had a son studied in the academy. After learning about Providence, his mom immediately sent him packing towards the academy. She tought that it would be the best to let him grow in the environment that can support him and his power.

Background: Jo Jin Gook was born in Seoul, Seventeen years ago. He is an only child. He had a normal childhood until he was thirteen years old. On that age, two life changing events happened to him. The first thing that it was the first time that he knew he was a mutant becuase his power began to manifest, he learnt that his power comes from his mom. And also at the age thirteen, His Father left him and his mother. His dad couldn't take it that His wife and son were mutants so he left them. That's why he hates his dad and used his mom's family name instead. He practically grew up with his mother. Because his mother is  working, he used to do his things alone and even assisted her mother in house chores, thus it made him an independent boy. He used to attend a normal school until his mom pulled him out and tutored him herself. He was sent to Providence academy because his mom couldn't tutor him anymore with her increasing workload.

Personality: 

When anyone first met him, their first impression might be that he is a cold person. Yes, he is calm, as he prefer just to stay quiet and analyzing his surroundings with his penetrating stare that can read almost anyone like an open book. But he's not a cold person. Once he let you get closer to him, you would find a warm and friendly person inside him. He has trust issues and it make him didn't trust people easily. It's quite hard to gain his trust, but once you have gained his trust and respect, he would be the most loyal friend anyone could ever have. He won't abandon his closed ones and would go through hell with them. But that doesn't mean that he would tell them about his problems. He would keep things to himself and tried to solve his problem on his own. He is independent, and quite secretive,, and also very capable of hiding his feelings.

He is also a passionate person. Once he had set his sights onto something, he would give one hundred and ten percent of his efforts and maybe some more, and he won't stop until he gets what he wants. He would put his heart and sould in doing something that he likes. Some maybe said that he is ambitious, but he's not. He's just very passionate. He loves passionately, and hates passionately. There's no in between for him. Once you cross him, he would hold a grudge on you that maybe would last for a lifetime, that's why he hate his dad.
