Personality:

*A romantic at heart, she just loves everything about mushy, gushy, cheesy love stories. She can spend hours watching cheesy soap operas on TV and loves making up random love stories about her friends. She can sniff romance a mile away, so it's kind of hard to keep a relationship secret from her. She's like a love guru or something. She can tell your in love by just the way you move around a girl. Cool right? It would have been cooler if she wasn't love blind herself. Don't understand? Well, you can say she is a love guru to others but when it comes to her own love life, she's a goner. She knows so much but she never had a boyfriend. She doesn't know when someone has a crush on her. It's like a matchmaker who can match anyone with their rightful soulmate but can't match herself up with anyone.

*She is very talkative. Talks here. Talks there. Talks everywhere! She doesn't know how to stop talking. She just loves it when someone is talking to her and would listen to her talk nonstop without getting irritated. But sadly, she can't find a person like that. Sooner or later, her friends would tell her to "shut up" or something. She hates awkward silence and has a sixth sense for this kind of stuff. As soon as she finds the topic awkward, she switches into a new one immediately.

*She is also very dramatic and outgoing. She watches alot of movies so you can say that her imaginations would sometimes run wild. Especially if the situation is scary or something, she would think of something very dramatic and weird that you would know that she got the idea off the movies. She is a movie-lover and could spend her whole day just lounging around the living room watching movies with a bowl of butter popcorn.

*She loves eating! But she doesn't get fat, weird right? She knows how to cook, bake and make ice cream. If you don't find her on the phone or watching TV, she most probably be in the kitchen cooking up something delicious. Her parents are both cooks so you shouldn't wonder why she's a good cook. She loves eating sweets and it would pick her mood up instantly. You could cheer her up by just giving her a lollipop.

*As you can see, she has a very childish personality which automatically makes her a subject of teasing and bullying. She just hates it when people talk about her behind her back and she can easily loose self confidence. She might be talkative, romantic and dramatic but her mood can easily be damped. You can easily make her sad or self-conscious that is why she is sometimes shy to show her true self to people she just meets because she's scared she will give out a wrong impression and it would make them talk about her behind her back.

Family Background:

Kauri Yumi was born in Davao City alongside her twin brother Kauri Kazuki. After one year, the Kauri family moved back to Japan so the children can be close to their fathers side of the family since their mom's family lived in America, not in Davao. The Kauri family lived a good life. Ailee and Mashiro only had minor fights and is still a loving couple who tries their best in giving their two precious children the best education their money could afford. Yumi and Kazuki wasn't popular nor were they bullied. They were just normal students living a normal life. But Yumi had more haters than Kazuki because of her childish personality. The twins are really close and is touchy-feely towards each other. Sometimes they would be mistaken as a couple. They don't find it weird when they hug or kiss each other on the cheeks or stuff like that in public.

While Yumi was the awesome cook of the two, Kazuki was the sports fanatic. Sometimes, Yumi would wonder if that boy loves sports more than he loved her but of course she was just joking. Yumi and Kazuki is really close. Kazuki is very protective of his little sister by 9 seconds while Yumi was the opposite. She would even set him up with blind dates just to make him go out and look for a girlfriend. Before Yumi joined the show, she was still a student at Japan National High School and works at a maid cafe every saturday.

Friend(s):

Yui Aiko & Yui Akio- they are the same age as Yumi and Kazuki and is also twins. Aiko is a girl while Akio is a boy. Confusing, isn't it?

Best Friend: Lee Eun-Ji - She is Yumi's best friend. She is full blooded Korean and has family both in Japan and Korea. They used to be classmates in grade school but Eun-Ji moved to Korea in High school but they still see each other during summer and winter.

Why did you apply for the show?: Aside from being a famous baker liker her mom, Yumi has always dreamed of staring in her own little variety show. She just loves seeing how much fun the stars are having whenever she watches them on TV. She won't stop talking about the fact that one day, her brother would see her on TV having fun along with those Korean celebrities she loved so much. She is a KPOPer BTW.
Would you mind moving in with them? Or even share rooms with someone?: Generally, Yumi is okay with anything. She's up for any challenges and doesn't really think of dirty stuff so she's fine haning out with boys and such. She's fine with sharing anything. An apartment, a bed or a room. But about the bed, her bedmate should watch out. She kicks in her sleep.
Were you parents okay/fine with you attending this show?: Oh, her parents were okay about her joining this show. Actually, her parents were the one who told her about it. But her brother thinks different. He's not happy about her leaving him behind but he doesn't refuses for Yumi to go since he knows how much she wants to go.
How would you react on stage, and they reveal the group(s) you're in?: Being the child-at-heart she is, she might not actually fangirl freak out but she would be a giggling and blushing mess. She would cover and giggle alot.
How would you react around them?: For the first week, she might still be reserved only showing her childish personality sometimes since she isn't that close to them yet. But after a week or so, she'll be comfortable around the guys already since she can easily get comfortable with anyone as long as they are friendly.
Could it be that you're awkward with someone in the Group(s)?: Possibly Minho (SHINee) she doesn't know why but the aura of the guys seem like they are cold or something. With Minho's silence and everything.
Is there someone you get along really well and spend a lot of time with?: Onew (SHINee), Onew and Yumi goes well together because of their childish nature. This two will always play games together and be noisy and such. OnEW reminds Yumi of Akio alot since Akio is childish too.
Does your Character even know about Kpop?: She's a minor KPOPer. She's really new to KPOP and still doesn't know that much. So she only knows about the group with their music but doesn't know about their ages or entertaiment or trivial stuff like that. Pure music fandom.
What will happen to your Character after the show ends?: Yumi would go back home to Japan but would always keep in touch with her new found friends. She wants to finish her studies, that's why. But after that, Yumi might be interested in becoming a celebrity or something in Korea.

Did something special happen that made you fall in love with him?: Onew is really sweet and accepting towards Yumi and even if that isn't exactly her type of guy she couldn't help but fall in love with him.
