On A Much More Tragically Serious Note

On another, much, much more serious note than my last blog:

Ulala Session's Im Yun Taek Says His Stage 4 Cancer Can’t Get Better or Worse

'Officially making his debut with Ulala Session, Im Yun Taek said that there is no getting better or worse for his stage four stomach cancer. There’s only watching for its progression, while taking medication and receiving chemotherapy.'

You can read the full article here: http://ph.omg.yahoo.com/news/ulala-session-im-yun-taek-says-his-stage-010013519.html

I recently discovered this group and found them fantastic, not your average kpop group yet they can still keep up with the young uns when it comes to dancing.

I don't know if any of you know, but I have a deeply serious phobia of things like incurable diseases, (mostly) cancer(s), AIDS, etc, (Really, I'd rather be drown or tortured to death. Even if the news comes on explaining things about cancer, I just leave the room) but this needs to be addressed. I only found out yesterday about his illness and actually cried. it is terrible news to her about anyone but someone who has their whole talented life ahead of them is even worse.

I can't even explain the sadness (for lack of better word) that I'm feeling for this man: not as a 'good looking artist', not as a 'kpop idol' but as a human being. If there is one thing I cannot do as my usually stoic self, it is comprehend how Im Yun Taek is able to get up, laugh, dance, sing and rap like nothing is wrong. I'm sure it takes a great deal of courage (and personal convincing) to do what he does. I hope for his health to stabilize and for an ease in the pain he's in. I also wish him and the rest of Ulala Session the best of luck with their records!

p.s, You really should watch their videos! You won't regret it!

Beautiful Night (They remind me of Norazo: Great voices but about doing gags instead)
