Personality:I'm a very quirky person. I act really bubbly and cute most of the time, but when I'm angry I become very stubborn. I get very jealous of girls hanging around my brother. He's very special to me and I don't want anyone to take him away from me. I never actually get a lot of time with him as it is, even as a kid, we didn't have time for each other because of his studies. But all in all, I'm a sweet person. I don't like to make people upset or sad because it'll make me feel bad for ruining a person's mood. I like to joke around and have fun with everyone around me. I love making friends, but when it comes to the opposite gender, or in other words 'guys', I become really shy and act like a child on their first day of school. I'm a very smart person, but since I act like a child most of the time, I come off as a bit of a nerd. I'm not super girly, but I like to be elegant when I can be. I love romance and cheesy confessions, so I really like dramas like 'Boys over Flowers' and 'SecretGarden'.

I'm also an emotional person. When I'm really happy, I act like a hyperactive little bunny. When I'm angry, I become a stubborn little kid who didn't get their way. Don't ever piss me off, I will growl and show how sharp my canines are by baring my teeth like a wolf. If I'm sad, I try not to bring other people's emotions down with mine. I try not to cry, but if you yell at me, I will cry, a lot. I hate being yelled at the most. I try to be considerate and nice to everyone, but if you mess with me, my feelings or anyone I care about, I won't be afraid to get even with you, verbally or physically. I was taught TaeKwonDo at a young age so I know how to defend myself physically if I have to. I love my friends and family too much for anyone to hurt them in anyway. Family background: I was born on December 13 in Seoul, South Korea on Midnight. I have an older sister named Sora and an older brother names HyukJae. We were an average family. As a baby, I was more attached to my siblings than my parents but I still showed them that I loved them. I actually was an 'oppa's' girl because I always looked up to HyukJae oppa. He was inspirational as I grew up and he made me want to actually do things with my life. I also met HyukJae oppa's friend, Kim JunSu who had also become a singer around the same time my brother did.

In grade school, so about when I was 6 or 7, HyukJae oppa was in training to be a famous idol. I didn't understand but I knew that a lot of people would know of him. I told people at school, but not many believed me except for another kid who also had an older sibling that was going to be famous. I was a bubbly child, and I still am but not as much as the present. During that time period, I didn't really go to school because my family was having financial problems. My mother put me in a child modeling agency, so I became a model when I was young. I didn't really look much like any of my family members as a child. I looked quite foreign so the agency accepted me to bring in attraction from the viewers.

In the agency, I had made two really close friends, Daniel Hyunoo Lachapelle & Aleyna Yilmaz. We were always taking trio pictures together.  Daniel was shy but he did whatever the photographer did. He was 5 and he's Korean American, but he could speak Korean very well. Aleyna was quiet but she was also very loud and cute. She was 6 at the time and she's half Turkish and half Korean. Again, her Korean was very good for her age. It was hard to understand but as we got older we separated and I left being a model when I was about 10 years old. I went to foreign school and to a Music school to learn music and dance.

When I was about 12, I had decided to follow in HyukJae oppa's footsteps and become a performer. I wanted to be close with him again since we rarely get to see each other, so I auditioned for SM Entertainment. I met DongHae and the rest of SM sometime, either before I auditioned, trained or during their performances when I go with HyukJae oppa. Ever since then, I have put in 200% of my effort into doing what I love; dancing, rapping & showing the world that I'm not just another performer.

Trainee story: I was a trainee at the age of 12. I was very charismatic as I sang because I had a very strong voice, like HyoRin from SiSTAR. However, when I danced partner dances, ooh, it was not pretty. I was dreadful at it. When we had to learn partner dancing (like the tango), I would mess up everywhere; I stepped on my trainer’s feet, who happened to be a male, I swung my arms too loosely and hit him. I was more dominant in dancing by myself like hip hop and poppin', because HyukJae would teach me dances when he had free time. Right when the company was about to give up on me, a few of the trainers saw that I was still there late at night practicing. I had improved so much and whenever I would mess up, I would focus in that area. The next couple of days, the trainees and trainers were very impressed with my group dances.
