Call me silly, call me foolish...I admit, I once was.

Well, actually I was more ignorant.

I never actually appreciated each and every Super Junior song out there. And I call myself an ELF.

Terrible aren't I?

I used to think that Shining Star is just a nice song. Ignorant right?

ELFs, you would understand why.

I always saw comments from ELFs saying that Shining Star is their favourite song because it is so touching.

I was curious, so I checked out the meaning of it.

I wasn't fazed.

I thought it was a nice song and nothing more. And that maybe Teukkie and HeeCHullie were just being emotional when they were crying while singing that song.

Ignorant right?

Well, now, after about 6 months of being an ELF, I finally understand.

The song has lifted my spirits up. It has brought me into realisation.

When I watched the SS2 live performance of Shinging Star in Beijing, I admit, I cried along.

It wasn't just my eyes welling up or tears rolling down my cheeks. I was sobbing.

And you know what? I still didn't trully understand what had set HeeChul off.

I knew he was crying because it is the first concert ever that they are performing without HanGeng, but I just didn't know what had really made him cry at that specific time.

Then I came accross this video and I cried even harder.

It's just so touching how the chanting of HanGeng's name brought the members and expecially HeeChul to tears.

When I first became an ELF, I never thought that Kim HeeChul is capable of crying in public.

Until I saw that video.

HanGeng, we ELFs miss you. But your happiness is more valuable.

I just hope that all 13 (+2) members can reunite for a concert...or a gathering of their own.

Yes, with Kim KiBum and Kim HeeChul too, wherever they may be right now.

All 15 of them. In the same area. Doing the same thing. And enjoying themselves.

My ultimate wish as an ELF.
