Personality: Kei is a very calm person. She is the one who usually handles problems or fights because she has such a mellow personality. Friendly and open, most members see Kei as a bit of an older sister, because she is always there to give guidance or just to talk to. She is always ready to help others and never turns anyone away. A bit of a puzzle solver, Kei tends to look at situations and process them deeply. I guess you could say that she thinks... a lot. She is sometimes so deep in thought that she doesn't even hear if people try to talk to her. It's rare to find Kei not reading or writing or doing something of the like in her free time. Highly intelligent and a dilligent student, Kei is a physics major at Handai, though now she is doing a lot of self study because she can't attend classes. Kei eats about 5x more than the average person. Seriously. She loves food. To try and pull her away from food when she is hungry is like trying to pull two giant magnets apart.

Kei is also an astronomy geek and loves stars. She wants to be an astronomer like her father. If someone so much as mentions stars or space, she will start rambling to them about it. She has a collection of telescopes and knows a lot about constellations. Kei is also a wannabe detective. The funny thing is normally she is so calm and mellow, but if she sniffs a possible mystery, she becomes super energetic and tries to solve it. If she thinks that there is a mystery to be solved, she literally pulls out a fedora (though no one has figured out where it comes from). She worships Sir Conan Doyle and used to dream of becoming the new Sherlock Holmes,

She also has a tattoo of a supernova on her chest right. It is 5.5 cm in diameter, centered, and right below her collar bone.

CHARACTER’S DISCOVERIES

How Character Became A Trainee:

Kei originally was scouted by Core Contents because they had seen her around when she would visit her brother. She initially refused because she wanted to focus on school, but with some extra pushing by Jihyuk, she caved.

How Long Been Training For: 3 years

Trainee Experiences: Kei's time as a trainee was strange because she often wasn't there since she was so focused on her university work. She actually wanted to quit because she cared more about her academics, but SHLent set up a deal with her which let her do her trainee practice more on her own.

CHARACTERS’S FAMILY BACKGROUND

History: Kei was born in Osaka, Japan to a Korean mother and a Japanese father. Kei's father is an astronomer, so Kei grew up really fascinated with stars and outerspace. She and her family often travel To Korea to visit her mother's family, but most of the time, they spend their time in Japan. When Jihyuk became a trainee, he moved to Seoul, and while she wanted to move with him, because of school, she couldn't move. Luckily though, Jihyuk ended up returning to Japan for promotions. She has always been studying diligently to fulfill her dream of becoming an astrophysicist, because she does wnat to be like her father.

Social Class: midde class

Father: Sakurai Ryuunosuke - 52 - From Osaka, Kei's father works as an astronomer. He and Kei have a very close relationship, and she was inspired by him to study physics, and she plans to major in astronomy in graduate school.

Mother: Song Yura - 50 - Kei's mother was originally from Seoul, but she moved to Japan after she met her husband. A soft-spoken woman, she and Kei are not quite so close.

Sibling/s:

Song Jihyuk (Supernova) - 24 - Kei's older brother, the two are extremely close. He is her best friend in the world, and she trusts him with everything. He is the one who encouraged her to be a trainee. She loves him so much that she even got a tattoo of the name of his group. He can be a bit protective, but only because he loves her more than anyone else.

CHARACTER’S SOCIAL BACKGROUND

Love Interest/s:

Yoon Sungmo (Supernova) - 24 - They became friends through Jihyuk and get along really well. They can be a bit shy around each other, but they do talk quite a bit, often getting teased by the other members of Supernova. (Jihyuk is in denial though). When they are together, they generally just talk about music.

Friends:

Mika (THE BOSS) - Kei's best friend after her brother, Mika and she became friends after she met him through her brother. The two were inseperable after that. Also, they both like space because he is one of the "Boys of Super Space".
Heo Gayoon (4Minute) - Kei's close friend, the two hang out a lot.
Koh Woori (Rainbow) - best friends but *view below*

Rivals:

Koh Woori (Rainbow) - They are friends but rivals because both Kei and Woori are known to be able to eat a lot and they once faced each other in an eating contest on a variety show. It ended up in a tie, so since then they have been battling it out and are curretly tied for wins and losses. They don't hate each other or anything. They just view each others as rivals in this sense. Besides this though, they are actually practially best friends because they both love food. Their rivalry is actually what makes them friends.
